I just signed up a few minutes ago. The sign-in process was very easy. I thought that with the free account I could upload two photos. Evidently I have to wait a week to upload another one.

A message from Martyn Roussel, Director and CEO Clickasnap is under new ownership. My team has been improving the site in many areas. One such area is renewals and refunds. I know from personal experience just how irritating it is to have money taken from my bank account for a subscription without warning. It may be legitimate, but it sucks. I have found that Clickasnap has been doing this in the past. That stops now. We will refund all legitimate claims, with no quibble, if made within 14 days. As we further improve the site and add new features, we want you to come back. We do not want you to have a bad experience. We are setting up reminders to prevent this happening in future. Poorly Run Company- Don’t Recommend

Here are my three main complaints about this site:

1. It’s extremely hard to make money on the site. It’ll take you forever to make the $15 minimum even if you pay for a membership. They give you 7 cents for every second view or something ridiculous like that.

2. The site also says you can contact them if you have any issues. This isn’t true because they purposely make it impossible for you to contact them. This site has potential. Unfortunately, the site gives you the vibe that the people want to hide from their customers and not deal with legitimate complaints. They do this while at the same time taking your money for a subscription that doesn’t help you to make more money. If it sounds too good to be true then it definitely is.

3. There are a lot of lazy “photographers” on the site that take pictures of the most ridiculous things in order for people to comment on their photos to make money. That is probably why ClickASnap made it even harder to make money.

UPDATE: ClickASnap flagged my review because they didn’t like my criticism. Their response makes it seem as if I’m being dishonest. On the contrary, ClickASnap is the one that puts fake five-star reviews on here to counter all of the honest 1-star reviews of their horrible company.

Not a scam but getting close to it

They used to be good. I enjoyed the experience last year and although it was a challenge to reach $15 by viewing others pictures and commenting on them, I eventually made it. And I paid for the subscription to get a slightly higher return on each comment but it was still low.I used to enjoy posting my pictures and was proud to post a link on my Instagram for others to see my album. But the motivation was lacking because it took thousands of views and comments to get to $15, so I took a break for a couple months. Then I came back and found out that they changed their policy. I realized that even as a paid member, they limited how many times I could comment. I gave up and cancelled my subscription. But that was also a challenge because you can’t contact anyone directly on their site. The only thing that works is to email them. Their whole business model is terrible and they will eventually fail in the end.

I am honestly asking anyone thinking of…

I am honestly asking anyone thinking of using this service to be aware...terms and conditions are sketchy at best. There is zero notice of renewal and will continue to bill you regardless if you cancel..than the battle begins...there is absolutely no chance they will refund your money...additionally its near impossible to make money regardless of their fake advertisements claiming otherwise...I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to with this dishonest company...Please do yourself a favor and stay away...

I wanted to share my photos and meet other photographers and earn from the platform i even bought a plan far a month even though the profits didn't even go over 2 dollars and the pay per view they only give 0.001/0.02 and after all that my account got closed and when i try to sign in again the platform say's unable to process even after contacting support nothing happened.

Extremely low quality contents with a lot of pointless AI generated photos. Poor user base because folks just heard they could make money with their poor quality photos so yeah... Greedy folks ruined the experience once again.

I am just getting started with this but Loving it!

I am just getting started with this but love the platform and community of like minded people appreciating art and photography. My wife and I both post pixs now and will open a separate bank account for our profits and then an LLC later but we plan to start selling our pixs of which we have not scratched the surface of the amount of pix we have taken over the years.

I am updating my review after the company's final response. This company's
practices are unethical.

1,Refusal to Refund: Clickasnap refused to refund £39.99 for an annual subscription that was completely unused for nearly a year.

2, Obstruction of Deletion: The company
deliberately hides the "Delete
Account" button anywhere on their website settings. Users are forced to formally email their support team to close the account.

3, Maximum Delay: After I emailed, the company confirmed they would take up to 30 days to process the deletion, using the maximum time allowed under GDPR simply to create inconvenience.

Do NOT trust this company with your payment or data. They keep your money for unused services and make it
impossible to leave.

Regarding your refund request, as outlined in our Refund Policy which you had agreed to upon sign up, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to renewal. Refunds cannot be issued for services that have already renewed or remained active, even if unused, as this is in line with standard digital service practices and consumer protection regulations.

In terms of account deletion, clickasnap fully complies with GDPR requirements. While full erasure requests can take up to 30 days to ensure that all personal data and content are securely removed, users are able to delete their own accounts at any time directly via the app. We do not hide or obscure this option in any way.
