we were looking for jerseys that we could print our own logo and number onto. We found Clifton and it stated the delivery dates (which would be too late) but to contact them if you needed it to be faster. So I wrote them an email explaining what we wanted. Their response was super fast and one of their employees helped me go through the order system.
The jerseys arrived on time and are great quality. The logo and numbers are not printed/stickered on top of the fabric (like we thought) but dyed into it, which makes it even better and cleaner looking.
Definitely recommend!

Fighter and Bomber Hula Shirts
I have now ordered over 100 hula/Hawaiian shirts for my group and they are great every time! The quality of the shirt is great and they came in a very timely manner. Service is great when designing and ordering the shirts as well. My group and I will continue to order these shirts!

Good product, But Poor Customer Service
Edit: Suggest this company be avoided. Customer service is decidedly lacking having been pestered with demands to change / remove a fair review of the service we received.
The shirts are a very nice good quality product. However, we were really disappointed that the shirts arrived with a printed logo, which is not what we would have wanted. We would absolutely have wanted it embroidered per the images on their website.
There is an element of culpability on my part here for my assumption, but this was never communicated to us clearly. It’s an option on the custom builder, but was never communicated to us clearly when our shirt was mocked up by Clifton Clothing on our behalf. It was in their mockup, but not clear and unambiguous. No option of embroidery were offered to us.

Zero Stars would be more like it
Clifton Clothing is blatantly untrustworthy and operates like a fraudulent company. Their customer service is nonexistent, their website is full of lies, and every piece of information they provide is misleading. No one can be reached for real answers about orders, shipping, or product quality. After thousands of dollars were spent, they deleted the entire order from their system as if it never existed—showing zero integrity, zero accountability, and zero professionalism. Their complete disregard for customers makes it clear: this vendor cannot be trusted under any circumstances.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! For starters I never even received my product which was $200 plus dollars individually. Secondly other parties who ordered different products within my storefront, their product arrived LATE. The order was placed MONTHS in advance after paying expedited shipping, written confirmation and being told the delivery date was guaranteed. It was not. Over $12,000 total was spent on merchandise and we CANT USE ANY OF IT! Extremely Poor quality, false advertisement about in house production (shipping and tracking came from china), under valued our order and as a result it flagged at customs as a scam, horrible customer service primarily because they were mostly non responsive and some items did not even arrive! DO NOT RECOMMEND and 1 star is being generous! Buyers beware. Do yourself a favor and not even waste your time inquiring let alone placing an order.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!! where do I start? The finished horribly produced finished product (that I would never wear in public because it looks so bad) arrived LATE and I didn’t even get to wear it for the event it was ordered for MONTHS in advance after paying expedited shipping, written confirmation and being told the delivery date was guaranteed. It was not. This company stressed me and about 60 other people who ordered the same shirt out so much about this. It was expensive too! Over $200 spent x 60 orders is about $12,000 that we spend on merchandise and we CANT USE ANY OF IT! Poor quality, they lied about in house made (shipping and tracking came from china) they under valued our order and it got flagged at customs as a scam, they had horrible customer service, non responsive. We had to tell after all of this money spent if this was a scam we would be calling a lawyer ! Then they replied that if we call a lawyer they would hold out merchandise that we paid $12K for hostage unless we tell them we won’t sue. Wasting time, days, energy, effort, money, I literally DO NOT RECOMMEND and wish I could give this a NEGATIVE -10 stars! I also think all these 5 star reviews are bots/spam/fake because there is no way in the world these people who rated it 5 stars dealt with the same company that we did. Impossible. Buyers beware. Run and find a different company. They are liars and I’m currently disputing charges!

Working with Clifton Clothing has been an utter disaster from start to finish. This company is the definition of dishonesty, incompetence, and false advertising. Every single aspect of this transaction was misrepresented, overcharged, and handled with arrogance instead of accountability.
1. Misrepresentation of Products
Clifton Clothing markets itself as a bespoke, in-house production company — yet my order (worth nearly $8,000) was shipped directly from China. Nowhere in their materials or sales process was that disclosed. This is false advertising and a blatant misrepresentation of their operations.
2. Customs Fraud and Shipment Delays
They under-declared the value of the shipment as only $280, even though it contained thousands of dollars’ worth of merchandise. That dishonest declaration caused my shipment to be flagged and held by U.S. Customs, delaying it well beyond the guaranteed express delivery date. Instead of taking responsibility, they blamed “customs processing times” — a deflection tactic to cover their own misconduct.
3. Price Changes and Hidden Fees
Clifton initially quoted one price, then increased the total cost after the fact, forcing me to pay additional, unexpected charges. When I specifically asked for an express shipping quote, they failed to provide one — yet later had the audacity to charge an “expedited” fee anyway once products were set to deliver after specified date. They agreed to the timeline, charged me extra for speed, and still failed to deliver on time.
4. Missed Deadlines and Unfulfilled Orders
Even after paying for express production and delivery, none of the items arrived by the agreed date. More than half of the order remains unshipped, even two days after the promised delivery date. For a company that claims “bespoke quality and service,” this is completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
5. Coercive and Unethical Conduct
Clifton refused to release my paid merchandise until I submitted a statement agreeing not to pursue legal action, chargebacks, or disputes. In other words, they held my goods hostage unless I gave up my consumer rights. This is coercive, unethical, and possibly illegal.
6. Abysmal Customer Service and Gaslighting
Their representative, Marcus, repeatedly responded with condescending and accusatory emails, attempting to rewrite history and shift all blame onto me. Instead of resolving issues, he doubled down with smug, dismissive language and false claims that delays were “self-inflicted.” No legitimate business should treat its customers this way.
⚠️ Final Verdict:
Clifton Clothing is a dishonest, unreliable, and unethical company that engages in deceptive advertising, hidden fees, customs misrepresentation, and coercive communication. They overcharge, underdeliver, and gaslight customers to avoid accountability.
If you value transparency, professionalism, and basic honesty — do not do business with Clifton Clothing. You will regret it.

Good finished product but sizes come…
Good finished product but sizes come out smaller than measurement sizes and overall it is very cumbersome at the point of building an order- spent too much time going back and forth on email when a couple of phone calls would have sufficed. A real shame because the end product is good quality and the first point of contact is excellent on the phone and would be a useful asset to be deployed l.

I thought the quality of the jersey would be similar to a Barbarian Rugby jersey, especially given the comparable price. This jersey looks as though my sister sewed it together. I'll never wear it. Buyer Beware!

Great experience and final product!
From the initial web chat and emails with Bruce, I was impressed. Within seconds I had a mock up of the custom shirts. We did make a few adjustments, but the process was easy and Bruce was patient with us and we needed some time to get our orders in. The final product turned out GREAT. Our families loved them!

Bad sizing. Worse customer service.
We ordered custom printed shirts for our team according to the size guide on the website. The shirts we received were ridiculously oversized. I ordered one size down from what the size guide indicated, and my shirt comfortably fit a friend who is a good 20kg (50lbs) heavier than I am.
When we wrote to the customer service about the bad fit, they told us order new shirts in smaller sizes. Then they kept sending us invoices for these “new” shirts - which we never wanted or ordered.
Edit: Marcus answering in public, and Marcus writing emails behave very different. Too bad Trustpilot does not allow to upload screenshots of Marcus' emails.

Easy to use interface and the design came back as expected on a good quality fabric. Sizing is slightly on the small compared with other jerseys but a minor niggle - will just have to cycle more!! Excellent top and excellent value.

DISAPPOINTING. Ultimately a great product delivered on time BUT expensive and without doubt the most stressful process imaginable. Dreadful communication. No phone number, hopeless chat service that just passes you eventually onto email. Random email replies, none of which quite answer your question. Random incorrect demands for payment. Misleading quoting process. Customer service needs massive improvement - particularly Marcus. Products made in China (not UK).
..Thank you for your response below, What you don't seem to get is that these garments are paid for directly by young individuals, in many cases it's their first experience of buying. These should be your next repeat customers. When you are against a deadline, being told that costs will rise significantly after you've placed the order creates unfair pressure on everyone and leaves a very bitter taste. Especially when enquiries are not answered with sufficient care.
You need to be MUCH more transparent about this before an order is accepted, it was not clear enough.
Demands for further payments (which always came instantly vs the slow responses to questions), should ALWAYS come with a proper explanation, otherwise it just looks greedy.
You may of course ignore my opinion but it you really want to be the best you should consider it.
