100% recommend continental leisure vehicles
Ordered our Roller team T Line 740 in January 2022 with CLV there was a long delay took nearly 15 months but that was nothing to do with CLV it was with Manufacters delays which i was aware of before ordering. I was kept updated by Iwan through out and he was always on the other end of the phone to answer my questions if not available he always phoned me back. Everything was explained in handover when we had our MH which I videoed also. There was a few minor issues which we discovered on our 1st trip away, which were fixed straight away, in all fairness Iwan even came to our house to collect the MH as we were unable to take it back otherwise for nearly 2 weeks most companies would not do that and he got it straight in to be fixed. Mike from the workshop who fixed the minor issues took the time to speak with me on the phone and explain everything which was fantastic. With the long delays the price had increased by about £10,000 but we only paid what it was when we ordered it CLV stuck to their price. Iwan also give us a few freebies which was fantastic as it ment i saved a few 100 pounds. The staff are very professional, friendly and helpful. It is a lovely company to purchase from very clean and they have some lovely Motorhomes there for sale no tat. Whilst waiting for our MH we bought a 2nd hand one from them just to tie us over that is now back with them to sell for us. I would 100% recommend his company. As I said Iwan was very helpful, professional through out. Not at all pushy. If in the future we ever decide to buy another MH we will definitely go back to them. We will also go back to them for any aftercare as in servicing etc. We absolutely love our Motorhome and are so looking forward to our new adventures
Thank you very much Iwan and all the staff at CLV 😀❤️

Before Driving Away Check, Check + Check Again
It’s a shame that I feel that I can only give Continental Leisure Vehicles a 3 star rating because overhaul our new Motorhome to us is very good but they let themselves down with poor communications , lack of attention to detail .
We traveled from Southampton to their branch a distance of 200 miles to view a Motorhome that had just come in, during viewing we noticed some minor damage to rear which surprised the salesman Tony but he assured us that this would be fixed at local body works, we paid a 10% deposit and were told that when repairs complete they would send us photos to confirm and we would pay balance. We arranged a collection date 4 weeks later, 3 weeks went by and we heard nothing so contacted them 7 days before collection but told not back but photos would be sent, 3 days before collection still nothing phoned again and photos arrived so balance paid.
Motorhome collected with handover completed and drove back to Southampton, unable to set alarm but on checking next day found that bonnet had been pulled so had driven back with bonnet on safety catch which was a little concerning. Checked vehicle and found that all 4 tyres had been replaced ( no mention made of this ) which was good but found damage to front near side wheel which was not there on viewing. This damage has occurred when tyres were replaced contacted Tony to be told that he would check with mechanic but when he had dressed the tyres ( they had not been dressed) he had not seen any damage. Although I did reply it would appear that my emails are no longer being answered. Finally my wife noticed some marks on rear window on checking it was overspray from repair nothing major and took me 10 minutes to correct but again lack of attention to detail.
In conclusion good Motorhome but when you are paying top dollar you expect top service and please before you drive away check, check then check again.
Ross at continental leisure vehicles…was Awesome!!!
Ross at continental leisure vehicles was awesome, very professional and so helpful. The process of buying our motorhome was easy and enjoyable. Thank you!!
Best aftersales we've encountered!
I am very happy to declare that, after admitting a little disappointment on picking up our Elldis Encore 250 at the beginning of this month, Ron and the garage staff immediately swung into action.
The handbrake was adjusted and the mechanic even took the time to show us how the fridge "stay open" mechanism worked. He kindly printed off a document on seat belt/passenger legalities for us too.
We were also delighted to be told that Ron had booked us in for a free trial at a local campsite this weekend. (If the weather stays as is, we may get to try the heating system!)
Having purchased several motorhomes and caravans locally over the last 20 years, Continental have been the first company that have sorted out any niggles at the first opportunity. This was followed up with a courtesy call to check that we were happy with the outcome. Great customer service. Thankyou all!

Recently bought motorhome and Iwan and Team have been absolutely amazing , very professional and helpful and still helping with ongoing minor issues so would recommend highly
CLV purchase experience
We just purchased an Autotrail Expedition 66, ordered new from July21, and picked up April 22. Given the uncertainty of purchasing new vans, This delay was predictable, we were kept informed of progress via email along the way.
Collecting the camper van was straightforward, it was registered while we waited, even had a choice of several number plates to choose from several weeks earlier.
We are first time Campervan owners, Tony ran through all the functions/workings with us and booked us into a local site for first night, to get used to it.
All in all, could not fault the experience of buying from CLV.
Super good service buying a new Roller Team 675
I felt really welcome and was taken good care when I bought my Roller Team 675.
As I came all the way from Aberdeen in a rental car for one way only, this car needed to be returned back, Ross took this upon himself to guide me and drive me back to my new motorhome.
After rental car delivery, the motorhome handover process was performed with a good and thorough explanation. Afterwords after all paperworks and a cup of coffee I was heading back for Aberdeen with my new motorhome.
Good experience
I called the CLV service department on…
I called the CLV service department on Friday afternoon 4 pm as I had just found a water leak from the water boiler area, and was due to get the Chanel tunnel the following day. I explained and they got me in straight away. Bearing in mind the day and time they were brilliant. Fair play. Thank you.
Disappointing.
Disorganised, chaotic poor attention to detail. First 600 miles in my MH were back and forth to resolve basic problems that should have been identified and remedied during PDI. Sales guy was ill informed and misled us on many of the MH features, including selling an alarm tracker system and subscription. I was not impressed when I discovered that the manufacturer had installed one and included a years subscription. Interactions were friendly but wouldn’t describe it as customer ‘service’. Would I use again? Maybe, but only after researching the MH spec carefully myself and checking any claims made by the sales guy.
excellent friendly service
Sorted! - Sorted the van - helped me sort everything else - very patient - half decent cup of coffee - overall excellent friendly service - would happily recommend - all my dealings were with Ross
Don't be put off by negativity. Go see for yourselves
I note the other 2 reviews of Continental Leisure Vehicles and their negativity. If I had read them before I made my purchase of a Bailey Advance Motorhome It certainly would have made me think twice or even put me off, which is always a danger when reading reviews.
I am glad I didn't.
We also purchased an ex "press" vehicle used by Bailey to promoted their latest model. We have been delighted with it and the service we have received from the afore mentioned Ross. The vehicle only had 1700 miles on the clock and was immaculately presented. Perhaps we were lucky...we don't think so.
STAY CLEAR !!!!! ONLY GOT 1 STAR AS THATS THE LOWEST I COULD GO UNFORTUNATLY
purchased a bailey advance in december,we were told by the manager this was a press van and only used in shows therefore was practically brand new so after flying to wales to purchase this 2018 van we were immediately disappointed with the condition the van was dirty had scratches along the top, and while a lot of other problems came to light after the first few days of purchasing, so after contacting the garage there whole attitude soon changed so after a lot of talking they eventually decided to exchange the vehicle which i had to drive back from scotland to wales, we should have realised then and walked away but thought surely it cant happen twice but unfortunately it did so in February we noticed problems with the van ie battery going flat heating not working gas regulator failed, they sent parts for this to be replaced in scotland which did not resolve the issue further more calls and seemed to get no where, then lockdown came in to place so we were stuck they did not return calls so we decided to go to trading standards who advised us to reject thes vehicle as we had the right to do so as the first 1 was faulty however they garage ignored all correspondence we even had to take it a step further and get a solicitor involved this caused a lot of stress and pain for our family but this didn't bother them 1 bit they really couldn't care as they had the money and weren't interested in refunding our money,in the end we had to accept yet another repair,i would not advise anyone to purchase a vehicle through this place as you will be very disappointed in the after service and once they have your money they couldn't care, they call themselves a {FAMILY}business i honestly have to laugh at that, they have no sense of the word family after what they put our family through
so avoid at all cost there is a lot of good companies out there just dont be another 1 in the same situation we were
Another Bad Apple
After a terrible experience with Marquis Motorhomes we were hoping this Company would be different.A family business(that old cliche).
Purchased a 2018 Bailey from Ross.Got flight to Cardiff and was met by Ross who drove us to business near Swansea. On seeing vehicle immediately disappointed, no attempt to properly clean exterior(visible full length scratches along top, sealant around cab to body very dirty). We were told it was a press van, used at events publicity etc only to discover it had in fact been used by several families clearly with young children who had no thought for its care.Damage to worktop, loose control panels, damage to up and down bed etc(none of which had been fixed despite the apparent 100+ checks done by the seller) however the most worrying fault which Ross appeared to have little sympathy for was Carbon monoxide entering the van from(as you will be aware carbon monoxide can be fatal)unknown. We spoke with two independent companies regarding this who told us the van was dangerous and should not be driven. It should be noted we discovered most of these faults after sale.Speaking of after sales, frankly this business as with the so many just wants your money and no issues. On reporting our ongoing issues to Ross his manner and tone decidedly changed for the worse. In conclusion it strikes me that Integrity and reputation mean very little to some business especially motor home dealers, finding one who respect those qualities is the proverbial needle in a haystack. The struggles we've had in recent months to find a reputable dealer, well lets just say its unlikely to happen. The second hand motor home trade is a minefield. As for this seller unless you want a load of grief avoid them at all cost.
