Best accommodation in Coventry for students. Such a diverse accommodation as well with support from all staff at all times. Good communal areas with a cinema and excellent quality study areas. Terrace is lovely for a sunny day and a drink with friends.

Great food (a bit spicy thou). A lot of queues for everything, but when you got there it was great. You should make a playlist everyone can include songs that will be played

Doors in the kitchen were missing for nearly a month. I complained many times but I had the same response of: ‘there is a priority list’.
Tried to claim I didn’t pay rent when I did, and also threaten my guarantors of payment.
Awful experience, don’t go for at University.

Be aware..you pay a deposit then at the end of the year they charge for dirty curtains, mattress anything really. Make sure you take pictures the day you move in especially maintenance issues because they will charge you. Our 1st year we were very trusting ended up loosing all our deposit. (Room also not cleaned on arrival day) 2nd year pics taken of broken shower, tiles off wall fridge freezer broken and mouldy this was reported for maintenance, end of the year charges received for above until we showed pictures and emails of reports and threatened legal action money was then returned. All rooms are charged for curtain clean etc..but they are not cleaned so money in their pocket. During COVID cleaners went into my room 2,000 pounds worth of stuff taken without notifying me(they had no record of my taken items) but after doing my own investigation I was told by staff that my items had been seen and they described some of them to me. They then paid me compensation as the cleaners had taken them but I lost a lot of money. Although bike room has a camera they will not look at camera when your bike is stolen which mine was. Be aware..don't trust anything that is said. I could go on as there were lots of things.

I wrote a review a few weeks back on the shocking experience i had at code. I received a reply:
"We did indeed offer to refund costs where possible, such as returning the price of any unused electricity."
Which does not cover what I had mentioned.
Three months have passed since I left the room at CODE and email after email I have been trying to receive the 300 pound deposit for my room. THREE MONTHS FOR A BANK TRANSFER THAT CAN BE DONE IN MINUTES.
Well, this is CODE. It hasn't changed a bit. Still unhelpful and everything they do is to cover their backs. No help to students and they don't follow through with their word.

Easy access to DMU and the City and after raising some issues on the all inclusive bill refund via their welfare email address (as requested to do so), this was promptly dealt with and my daughter will be receiving some money back, which was the result we were hoping for. Thank you Lynn ! For future tenants, read the small print and asks the right questions, as it always helps. Our daughter was overall happy at the accommodation and whilst not the cheapest due the length of the tenancy agreement versus length of her student year, it gave her the independence she was looking for in her final year.

Absolute scammers! They take advantage of young people learning to live independently who are still building confidence to question when something is not quite right. They provide you with a filthy apartment which is supposed to be deep cleaned prior to arrival, the apartments tend to suffer with bugs, you report faults and property management fob you off and expect you to source repairs yourself and you have the privilege of being given a previously used and stained mattress which at the end of the tenancy they will charge you for because they are supposedly replacing however I can guarantee the next person will be given that worn mattress so they can make money off the next tenant. Do your research before booking

Amazing studio. Stayed at leicester code students and loved my time there so much I stayed another year! The staff are so friendly and always there to help with anything. If you have any problems the maintenance is really great and fast. My studio was amazing to live in as it was really spacious and light thanks to the large windows. My favourite thing about code is definitely the staff and how friendly and warm they all are. Also how good value for money it is!

This place is a scam. Don't just take my word for it, just take a look at the other reviews. It is close to impossible to get back your deposit. If you're moving in make sure you take pictures of how you found EVERYTHING even small things because that was my biggest mistake. I was missing some miscellaneous items like a lid for a bin as I just assumed there wasn't one, I brought my own small bin anyway. Yet I ended up getting charged for that and a bunch of other things that wasn't in the room when I arrived. The price for replacing these items were also more that they usually cost, so it's 100% a rip off.
Plus, like many other people, I am being charged for a new mattress despite it being left in the exact same condition as I found it. I know this as I used a mattress protector underneath a fitted sheet and a bed sheet, but it doesn't even matter since I spill anything. I am so annoyed as I feel like I threw money down the drain. I am still fighting it, but I’m nearly certain I won’t recieve my full deposit.
Don’t be like me and pay an absurd amount for rent in this place only for them to be dishonest and cruel and not return the deposit.
Lastly, the staff at the reception are all quite dismissive and rude over the few times I’ve interacted with them over the year. I wasn’t going to say anything because people can bad days but I don’t really care anymore so know that too.

If you are a student avoid these scam artists at all costs. They overcharged my brother and do not maintain their side of the contract - my brother has been waiting for months for them to repair doors which were missing when he moved in and they keep giving excuses not to - failure to withhold their side of the contract yet threaten and scare him when he makes a complaint - telling him they are going to put him into debt, overcharge him and take action against him despite having paid his rent on time and in full for the coming months. I will be chasing this legally, the contract works both ways. Ignore the 5 star reviews on Google, as you can see from other negative genuine reviews they bribe students with a shoddy Amazon gift card to give them a 5 star review, absolutely pathetic. They just bully and overcharge students.
It is a brilliant Idea, however the lack of information that is stated clearly to tenants is bad. The weekly meetings are so much fun and the staff really go out of their way to try and help. However, the building is not finished and this is disappointing. During this trying time it has been very unclear what is happening with our everyday business and we have had a lot of things being taken away from us making it not feel like a home.
