Excellent value for money

Excellent value for money and item turned up promptly and well packaged.

Due to change in requirements had to return item before it was installed and the return was dealt with efficiently and politely.

Not great

Not great. Urgently needed 2 Philmac fittings for a repair on a plumbing system in a large conference centre. Spoke to Colglo on the phone and they confirmed they had the fittings in stock at their Dee side branch. The earliest they could get them to me was 5pm the next day but I needed them first thing the next day so we could get the system back up and running. So one of our team drove over that afternoon (40mins) and collected the fittings ready for the morning. When I looked at the fittings in the morning, Colglo had put the wrong ones in the box! The fault was theirs, which they admitted, I had ordered the wright part and the paper work showed that but Colglo and made the error and miss read the item number and put the wrong ones in the box. I called them straight away and thought under the circumstance, knowing how urgently I needed the parts and the lengths I'd gone to the previous day, that they would send someone out in a car to give me the correct one. But no! they said they weren't able to help. I would have to drive over again, 40mins each way to change the parts, before we could then go to work on getting the system back up and running. Thanks Colglo! not even an offer of a discount, very strange. First time I'd used them... probably wont again.

I’m very sorry about the problems our error caused. We have set ourselves a very high standard in customer service and obviously on this occasion, we fell well below that. When we make an error we try our best to resolve them as quick as possible but we couldn’t solve your problem on the same day.

The part was delivered in good time but …

The part was delivered in good time but the packaging was not adequate.
The parcel was delivered by the courier but it had obviously been repacked in a second bag after the original one had been damaged. The box containing the part was torn and wet. The part had suffered a knock but it has been accepted. Attention to improved packaging should be considered.
