Poor delivery

Nice product online shopping experience eventhough they charge 8$ for delivery throwgh one of the most unreliable carrier , but I stopped doing business with them just because their only carrier delivery option is Purolator

Never received my coat

Never received my coat. Customer service is horrible. To get a refund, you have to fight a rabid grizzly bear who is high on meth. DO NOT BUY FROM COLUMBIA.

The online Columbia Sportswear store…

The online Columbia Sportswear store appears to be a scam. I placed an order but never received a confirmation email or an order number. A few days later, the money was taken from my account. When I contacted the company, they told me there was no record of my order.

When I asked why the payment was taken if no order existed, they gave an unhelpful explanation, claiming the charge was merely an “authorisation” and insisting the funds were not actually withdrawn. I contacted my bank, and they are now attempting to retrieve the money.

This experience has been extremely frustrating and disappointing.

Columbia sportswear breaking store policy and discrimination

I’ve been buying stuff from their online website for wh past month. Paid a 1000 or more coz I trusted the quality and their policy . Bought a jacket for my son 3 weeks ago, weather gets cold and he decides to wear it but complained about the no hoodie so I contact customer service explaining that I’d like to return, exchange or get store credit with the amount of the jacket promising that I would buy another one from their store that meets our needs. They refuse coz my son cut off the tag. Mind you it’s only been 3 weeks or less so I’m within the period for returning but they refuse. Their manager literates me terribly thinking that I’m an immigrant and that I wouldn’t know where to file a complain at but guess what I’m about to complain to anyone who listens. I’m an educated person and will not accept discrimination based on my name. I will file an official complaint to the online consumer BBB and the competition Bereau to protect my rights. They were so rude about it . Plz don’t buy from them as they are liars and don’t stick to their policy . They treat people terribly. Never buying from them again

Delayed my delivery for days without a…

Delayed my delivery for days without a reason. I called customer service and they couldn't tell me why the delivery was delayed. I disputed the charges with my credit card and the following day the package was at my door. Never ordering anything from them again. I advise all potential customers to stay away from this company if the dont want unnecessary stress.

Stitching coming loose after one month of using

I really liked these sandals at first, they fit well and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the stitching started coming loose after only one month of use (see photos). It’s a bit disappointing considering the price I paid. I expected them to last longer.

Items missing from order

Received an order via UPS with two out of four items missing. Package was sealed and undamaged.
Columbia Sportswear have decided that is UPS at fault not their incompetence packing in the warehouse. They are now ignoring me completely and have had to escalate via my payment carrier. Terrible customer service.

Columbia Customer Service is awful!

Columbia Customer Service is awful!
Shipper lost my order. Confirmed by an email from the shipper telling me to contact Columbia. Columbia said it will take 7-14 BUSINESS days for their investigation team to make a decision of 1) replace item 2) offer refund 3) they have no responsibility. In the meantime they tell me to ask my neighbors if they received my package!
IT HAS BEEN LOST IN THEIR SHIPPERS WAREHOUSE FOR OVER 2 WEEKS!

Horrible company practices

Horrible company practices. Ontrac did not deliver my package and it continued to be delayed. This company tells me to wait 2 weeks for them to investigate. Now I have to dispute with my bank. Never will order their products again.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER

I called within 30 minutes after I shipped the item as I realized that the address was wrong and I had omitted the street name. I had to contact 3 people before they said they will send an email. I explained very clearly that my daughter lives in UK and that I am ordering the jacket for her but I live in Sri Lanka. Apparently the order cannot be edited or cancelled. They said I can change the address to wait till it it shipped and to log into UPS. I can't do so and UPS says there are restrictions from your end. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE IS THIS , knowing that I was going to have to make the change do you not think of removing the restriction so I could make the changes to the address ? This is truly the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I have EVER ENCOUNTERED .
PLEASE ENSURE THAT THIS MATTER IS RESOLVED AT YOUR EARLIEST , I will NO DOUBT publicise this on social media so other customers are aware !

This is hands down the worst company

This is hands down the worst company i have had the misfortune of interacting with. I ordered a package that I never received.

When I tried to contact them multiple times the first agent I talked to was extremely, rude, combative and disrespectful. This specific agent refused to put her manager on the phone.

After multiple tries and multiple rude agents I finally got a decent agent, the manager. However towards the end of the call I was offered a 20% discount on my next order which was not the reorder I asked for.

Also I was contacted in the middle of the night by a higher up from Columbia. Which is also unprofessional to call someone in the middle of the night for a major company like this. This higher up was extremely condescending and he also refused to help me. He proceeded to ask me if I was going to be professional which meant he basically was implying that I was the angry difficult black woman.

This higher up was more concerned about protecting his image and the company's reputation, then assisting a paying loyal customer.

My advice to anyone that is thinking of doing business with them and ordering from them, stear clear. Their customer service is abhorrent and abysmal.

Truly awful company

Truly awful company. I made an order 2 weeks ago. They lost it so asked me to reorder and that they would refund me for the original order and apply the discounts to the second order.

I am now £160 out of pocket with no order arriving in sight. Contact from the company has also stopped.

Terrible customer service and as other reviews suggest, a bad experience is common.

AVOID.

My delivery was lost and they have to wait 14 days to open an investigation and the wait for the investigation before refunding the money.
What is that?
I've never dealt with any company like this before.
The package is not delivered or is lost, you get a refund! 48 hours, max!
Terrible customer service.
Nowadays packages get lost all the time, be careful buying from these people, if your delivery is lost, you will be waiting months for a refund!

Don't purchase anything from this…

Don't purchase anything from this dishonest company! I have a gift card from my credit card rewards. I tried to use it and is not valid. After many calls much time on hold and promises they will call me back or a email they never did. Now I am out $100.00

Minus zero. After non delivery of a sweatshirt, they STILL have not refunded or replaced our delivery. This is UTTERLY disgraceful. It was a present from my great aunt to my grandmother and both older ladies are very distressed by this. SHAME ON YOU.

Avoid at all costs!!! Shared bank details

Avoid at all costs!!!
My parcel arrived pretty quick, but my Bank details were shared. Within a day of delivery payments were taken from my current and credit card. PayPal was at the top of both transactions confirming it was during this transaction as I haven’t used my PayPal account for over 5 yrs until my Columbia payment.
PayPal were useless too thankfully my bank has reimbursed the fraudulent activity.

Online Store is a disaster

On Oct 6th, 2025, I placed an order which they then canceled a few minutes later because they were suddenly out of stock. Granted, they didn’t tell me the reason till I called and asked about it! So, I placed a new order for Flax colored Men's Rapid Rivers Pants as a replacement. When I received the order, they looked really green.

A few weeks later, I was finally able to make it to a store and noticed that the color I received was indeed not what I had ordered. I emailed Columbia, they checked the tag and confirmed that they had sent me the wrong color. However, since I had worn them once, the only thing they could do was offer me 15% off my next order!

So, to summarize, they canceled my order due to poor inventory management then sent me the wrong order – again, due to poor inventory/shipping management – and now won’t make it right! At this point, I will no longer be doing business with Columbia. There are other companies (such as Wrangler) that will take care of their customers.
