Don't Use Their Convenience Checks!! PREDATORY!

I used a convenience check on my Commerce credit card and was COMPLETELY taken advantage of. Normally, when you use a credit card, you make purchases, then get a statement, and if you pay for the whole statement balance of those purchases by the due date, you don't get charged interest. This is actually a grace period and interest isn't charged because you aren't holding a balance. I got a 0% interest rate convenience check for like 12k and paid like $275 for the privilege. First of all, if you make any normal purchases, you start accumulating interest immediately because you hold a balance even though that balance is a convenience check that has no interest for however long. So if you get a convenience check, you can't make normal purchases without immediately accruing 25% interest on them. Second of all, there is NO WAY to pay down the purchases without paying the full balance. I was on the phone with them and asked them how much payment to make such that I'm making my minimum payment for the convenience check and I pay the full balance on my purchases so no interest accrues. I was told multiple times, by the manager, that they can not tell me and there is no confirmation that the payment goes towards my purchases. What in the world!?!? Chase, for example, like every other credit card you can get a loan on, says X is how much you pay for your credit card, Y is how much you pay for your loan, and Z is how much you pay for both--would you like to make one of these payment amounts or select your own amount or pay the entire balance? So, I had no choice but to come up with the money like a year early and pay down it completely after like a month of having the balance because Commerce was charging me with predatory interest and no way to avoid it. So I'm out an interest charge and I think it was $275 for the convenience check.

Last of all, the most basic things you could do to improve are make it 1.5% cashback instead of 1% and allow me to redeem my credit card points for cashback below a $25 threshold, and don't require a literal 45 minute wait time trying to reach customer service.

My User Id is serving3067 and I'd like to be contacted for a refund because I never heard back from the manager.

Commerce Bank practices Stealing money from the Elderly…

The Commerce Bank facility is accused of misappropriating funds from the elderly. Numerous efforts have been exerted to persuade the bank to disclose transaction details regarding unaccounted funds from my mother's account, yet everyone from her personal banker to the branch manager has failed to provide the detailed transaction statement necessary to trace the missing money. Consumers are advised not to trust this bank due to allegations of theft from elderly clients.

Bunker mentality

I'm a fraud investigator. I've been trying to contact Commercebank for months now, to hand over (for free) details of hacked customer accounts - details which if acted on promptly could have prevented theft of customer money, and the distress and upheaval that goes with it.
The company website is of no use in that regard.
Despite numerous emails from different accounts to various staff addresses in the company, I have never received a single response. Either their email system is so xenophobic that all emails from the outside world are discarded, or a corporate culture exists which treats outsiders as enemies, regardless of the effect on customers.
But perhaps it is just more profitable to let customers be robbed.
