Wrong Trunking Installation by COURTS and They Denied

On 15/11/24 Courts sent his guy for site measurement on my unit together with my Reno ID Boss present.Their coordination was terrible and the Courts guy did not even provide a VIDEO of how the trunking would be installed or not even provided a written confirmation as I had provided him a hard copy of the floor plan.Now the whole trunking was installed wrongly and my wardrobe and all bedframe are affected To do reroute of trunking again,COURTS wanted to charge me extra cost of $1200+- and COURTS told me I have to fully bear the cost as Courts mentioned the installer had provided the video prior to the 19/11/24 installation.So now I asked COURTS to show me the Date/Time and WhatsApp of the Installer whom claimed he had provided me but they can't produce this evidence at all !! I am now sandwiched in between the rogue Reno ID Boss and the irresponsible COURTS Installer.I think I have to present the issue to CASE and Small Claim Tribunals since I have to recoup the $1200+- as I cannot afford to delay my current Reno project that has to continue, otherwise I cannot move in to the resale flat by 13/12/24 as I have to hand over the other resale flat to another new owner or I will be charge extra cost for not handing over on time !This is a nightmare to purchase aircon from COURTS !!

Extended warranty and poor customer service

Bought extended warranty for dryer. Contacted Courts 2 weeks ago but till date, no one had call back to update on status. When we call and check again, there’s still no update. It’s not the first time we had experience this. We faced the same issue a year ago.
What’s the point of purchasing extended warranty but not getting the value and support at all. We will never want to purchase anything from Courts in the future.

SubjectDisappointment with Unfulfilled Promised Service

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent purchase from your store at Courts Heeren. I purchased a Panasonic oven on 19 Nov 2024, and the salesperson assured me that setup and testing would be provided upon delivery.

However, when the oven was delivered yesterday, this promised service was not carried out. The delivery personnel simply left it at my doorstep and departed without any setup or testing.

As a first-time customer at Courts, I expected better service and adherence to commitments made at the time of purchase. This experience has been deeply disappointing, and it will unfortunately be my last purchase from Courts.

Item bought

Item bought: Daikin Aircon with Extended warranty in Aug 2020
First of all, they did a terrible installation by telling my dad to remain to the old piping despite we paid extra for a better pipe, and this led to water leakage on our 1st year of the purchase.
Call courts and they came down to check and said it was the water condensation from the pipe. How on earth will it happen in less than a year. So, after this incident, we serviced our aircon every 3 months.
So recently (Oct-2024) we couldn't switch on our aircons, so we called the customer service.
Same as everyone's review, THEY HAVE SUPER LOUSY CUSTOMER SERVICE.
We need to constantly call the CS hotline so chase on the follow-up appointment. All kind of excuses (we will call you back - but they never call back)
After repair for the first time, my aircon works for 2 weeks and it broke down again and causing my whole house to have power trip.
And also CS hotline stated 9am - 5pm. But they stopped answering the hotline since 4.30pm then what is the point you stated 5pm.

I will never ever buy from Courts again.

bad experiences in online purchase
early august 2024, my daughter purchase Apple Watch Series 9 on Courts online platform. after completing the online purchase, she waited for the item to deliver within 2 weeks. but after 3rd weeks, courts online customer agent called her informing her that there is no stocks available and need to wait for another 4 weeks for supplier.
unfortunately , after 4 weeks , another agent called and informed her that Apple no longer supply Apple watch series 9, and she given a option to purchase Apple Watch Series 10 with a top-up of differences or opt for a refund.
due to her budget constraint, she opt out and wanted a refund instead. but to her surprise, the agent informed her that the refund will be only done in a form of Courts vouchers.
My questions -
1. courts still accepting orders for Apple Watch Series 9 online when Apple shop is no longer selling - as i try to go online n did a purchase on Apple 9 watch - it show there is 1 stock available.
2. why she cant get a refund in cash or refund in credit card as the problems is due to Courts unable to fulfill the obligation of the purchase contract.

Buy at own risk

I would have rated -5 if there was a choice. Visited courts 5 hrs ago and came home with a cash and carry kettle. On the chat online with the staff name Yuges and explaining that water will spill over the spout of the kettle and it may scald my elderly parent and requested an exchange. However the staff kept telling me about the exchange policy and I need to bring down to the store to try IF IT CAN be exchanged and that there will be the 30% restocking fee if item is opened. In my opinion, it seems that Courts is more interested in the 30% then how the kettle may cause injury to elderly and small kids.

Buy at your own risk, no longer Customer interest in their sales

Worse experience at Dyson counter, Courts Orchard

Hi,
I had visited Courts, Heeren on 31.8.24 around noon with my husband. Please consider this as a formal complaint against the unprofessional racist and arrogant staff (female, fair, black medium length hair, Asian ) working at the DYSON counter. We asked her about the Dyson Airstrait straightener and she very rudely pointed towards the other side. Next, we asked her 3/4 questions regarding the tool and she did not even bother to answer and made annoying faces looking at us. We asked her how to change the setting from wet to dry as we were unable to do it in the machine which we were holding and after sometime she said this machine is not working and all this while she saw us struggling with the machine. I took the other machine and she said just change the setting and did not help/guide us at all. This was a terrible and unpleasant experience we had at Dyson , Courts. Being a loyal customer of the brands, I will really unacceptable and uncalled for. I hope that this feedback will be taken seriously and I am willing to provide you more details as well.

Service Excellence Across Generations

My wife and I were at Courts Megastore today and were served by Ms Faridah Ahmad. Ms Faridah had great product knowledge and asked us all the right questions about our needs - chair and table height, kitchen theme and our preferences. She was patient and assisted us with the change & combined our delivery with another product in another department. My parents used to shop in Courts too and Ms Faridah demonstrated the warmth and excellent service that both our generations like about Courts. Bravo Courts Singapore!!

Terrible Delivery Service of…

Terrible Delivery Service of COURTS !!!

I PAID every single cent for my BOSCH washing machine - Delivery Date on 26th Jul.

Delivery Delayed to 29th Jul; then to 30th Jul ( yet no one contacted me to inform of the delayed. I have to call the hotline, and check with the delivery dept. The staff said : No Record Show of any Delivery Date. Ended my call.

COURTS expects me to waste my annual leaves to wait for them to have their job done.

But Then, Thanks to Steve Kiong ( COURTS @ Toa Payoh Central ) & his colleague. They managed to help to resolve the delivery date to no further delays. Delivery done as per scheduled on 29th Jul. Good job.

I bought extended warranty for my…

I bought extended warranty for my fridge with courts. Fridge compressor broke down on Wednesday. After much persuasion service man finally came on Friday. (Courts SA Mentioned svc company will call in 2-3days) and then svc company whatsapp and said repairman can only come 2-3days?) All the food in freezer and fridge obviously turn bad and disposed! I have called and whatsapp several time to Courts and their repair agent Greenlife to enquire with regards to food spoilage claim under their term and condition part B(ii). As of now no one has return my call to update.

If I had not bought this extended warranty, an outside handyman will definitely come on the spot with the same price of the warranty charges. Not having to wait for repair to be done only on the 3rd day!

I have been purchasing furniture and electronic items with Courts for years. I was looking for a refrigerator this time. Mr Luigi (Courts Tampines Megastore) attended to me. He knows his products very well, very patient with me, I'm very impressed by his services. It was another good experience purchasing from Courts, as usual.

Don't use their flexi plan! Their credit dept is sucks

never trust their own credit department. Cause they all are just a brunch of scary cats. And scare peopel wouldnt paid up for taking credit terms with them!

trust yourself well and earn more money and save it up! dont get yourself into debts issue. If have money just paid up!

WORST EXPERIENCE FROM ONLINE ORDER!!!!

please for the sake of your time, DO NOT PURCHASE FROM COURTS WEBSITE. WORST EXPERIENCE. CUSTOMER SERVICE SUPER TERRIBLE. I bought an apple tv and opt for flexi plan, instalment plan because want to pay monthly. i only received order acknowledgement, they did not send me any delivery confirmation after a week, emailed them, told me will get back to me soon but end up never. the order also did not appear in my account. i called cs after a week and told him what happened, he also cannot find my order??? , i told him i want to bring my apple tv overseas and he scolded me!!! he said i'm not suppose to bring the item oversease because it's instalment plan and said i will breach their contract or whatever crap!!! he still said the item isnt mine because i havent fully paid, then whats the point of me paying and getting the item???? it's the first time ive heard this kind of nonsense, sometimes customers dont know that they not suppose to bring their instalment item overseas, can talk nicely what!!! in the end i asked for a refund instead because whats the point purchasing and getting restricted from bringing overseas. surprisingly they are fast on getting back to me for the refund but not about my order. seriously courts, i dont ever want to order online or even go to courts. you guys are the worst. PLEASE DONT EVER BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE.
