The carving set arrived from France to Canada in less than 2 weeks. I ordered something from the US and it took a month! The only problem I had was getting the order to take with a foreign postal code. The person I was in Chat with helped me and immediately the order was successful. My only complaint is that in the one day it took to correct my order I lost over $4 in the exchange. Small price to pay for the learning experience. The engraving was lovely (could be a bit bigger) and my husband was quited pleased with that. I would definitely order directly from them again.

I was pleased with communications and delivery but a little disappointed with the knife. It was small. Admittedly, I could not afford much so bought a 9cm knife but not only is it short, it's very narrow. I think it would be much better to buy these from a shop so you can see what your getting for your money. However, I'm not sure there are any outlets in the UK. Having said all that, my husband loves it and sees it as a thing of beauty.

Went on to the web site to purchase a matching set of steak knives and forks. I did successfully manage to place the order, the process include an online help instant messaging session with a Laguiole representative, and I must say their response was quick and effective. The set of knives and forks arrived ahead of expected delivery dare and quality of items is superb. The one issue I have is that purchasing a matching set of knives and forks from the web site should have been easier. I had to purchase the knives and forks separately, hoping / guessing that they were a matching pair. I could definitely have done without stess of not knowing until delivery that they were a matching set

Great company, great product. Engraved as promised. Only slight glitch was having to pick up from Post Office was Royal Mail didn't leave a card: but contacted Jean who provided all details needed almost immediately. Would definitely use again.

It is difficult to find a direct manufacturer and seller for this lovely cutlery. Dealing with Actiforge gives one a choice of the full line without going through a retailer who knows nothing of the product. This was my second transaction with them and I have always been pleased. I appreciate knowing the history and authenticity of their products.

Ordering online was beyond easy, delivery time was unbelievably short, the knife I purchased is gorgeous and extremely well-crafted - I cannot be more delighted with the entire experience!

This is my first Laguiole knife with Damasczene blade. It is gorgeous, it is beautifully forged and the handle smells after juniper. I consider my knife the best one I have ever had. That is the reason for five stars.
