Quick easy to use service I sold my dollars and sent currency through the post payment into my bank account. Payment received same day as currency returned. Have used many times always helpful.

Last month I had cause to sell a quantity of Euros. Having successfully used the postal service offered by CG FX on a previous occasion, I had no hesitation using them again this year. Boy how disappointed I was with them this time round.
Having placed my contract on their website to sell at a Sterling return that I was happy with, I immediately received an email back from CG FX confirming the Sterling sale price at £1691. I posted the Euros to CG FX - all good. After a 2 or 3 day delay I was called by a guy at the exchange to say that some banking system issues at their end had led to a delay in processing my sale - but not to worry they had my Euros safe and sound. Two days later the Sterling payment arrived in my bank account. Problem was what arrived was £1667 - £25 light against our contract.
I emailed back to their customer service address asking them why the contract price had not been met and they replied telling me it would be looked into. Fine. Then I receive a call on my mobile from the same guy who had called earlier. I don't know if this guy is the same rude owner that other reviews have referred to, but the conversation that then took place was quite frankly beyond belief. At one point I genuinely wondered whether I was being subject to a hoax call. By the end of it, however, it was clear that the guy was being absolutely serious. I can categorically say that in all my 62 years, I have never been spoken to as a customer by a service provider so rudely, abusively and inappropriately. He accused me of being a liar and a scammer and of having so much money that I surely did not need the £25. He refused to accept that they had made a mistake and refused to accept that they had any obligation to meet the contract price sent to me in an email from their own website. Even when I tried politely to accept that they had made an honest mistake and to offer to accept the £25 loss against my expectation, he carried on his rude and aggressive rant like I was some scamming criminal trying to put him out of business. What a very nasty rude man and what a horrible experience this was. I shall certainly never deal with this company again.

I have used Coventgardenfx over several years now. They have always offered very good rates (possibly the best), very efficient speedy delivery and a friendly helpful voice if you phone them, Marco was brilliant with my last order.

Sceptical first time I used them, as concerned about bank transfer. But used them lots of times since. Always arrives on time, with first class communication that puts your mind at rest.

Needed some euros to complete a transaction in Spain. Very efficient, seamless service and an excellent £ to € exchange rate. No hesitation in recommending.

I wish I knew about them long ago! I received the money via the Royal Mail Special Delivery the very next day. This will be my go to FX service from now on.

I am not a review guy but this time I have to leave a review and I am very pleased it is a positive one! All the previous times that I had some left over euros from holidays, I was using local face to face shops to sell the currency (euros) for pounds. I was always "loosing" some money because the exchange rate was not that good, but because it was small amount of euros I was ok with that. This time though because of Covid and not traveling to my country to see family and friends I had 3000e just sitting in my house. On every option for a face to face deal I was loosing from £200 up to £280 and I was not happy.
I had heard for this shop but I was always afraid to post money, especially 3000e. I took a risk to be honest, the problem now days is that there are so many scam sites with fake reviews etc. But my wife that she had used the shop in London many years ago (in person) she was telling me that it is legit. I was still afraid though. Long story short I made the order and I received the information how to post the money. I went to the post office, I asked for special delivery and to use insurance for 3000e. It was Wednesday. On Thursday I received an email that they have receive my money and they will transfer the money in my account in 1-2 days. On Friday there was no money (but I had a missed call from their shop) Today (Saturday) someone called me to inform me that they are having some problems with the bank from their end and they will try everything to "push" them to put the money in my account around 17:00pm. The guy on the phone was very nice and apologetic that I have not received the money yet. I was still a bit nervous because I know how banks can be sometimes during weekends. I checked my account around 17:00 and there was no money. So I was like ok hopefully on Monday now. But then I checked again after like 5mins and the whole amount is there! what a relief!!! so yeah guys! feel free to trust this company! The reviews are legit and the staff helpfull and professional. :)

Best money exchange service ever, odered late on Tuesday £2500 and received best rate in Euro's on Thursday morning, all tracked on Royal Mail.

This was a first experience to use a currency exchanger other than John Lewis or other face-to-face transaction. Once I'd made the decision I registered to Covent Garden FX who had great reviews and I am very glad I did so. I called after registering a request and spoke to Victoria who was informative, helpful, friendly and thoroughly professional.This put my mind at ease. I had a far better rate than I would have had elsewhere and everything went smoothly from start to finish and instructions were very clear via the confirmation email and our euros arrived bang on time. Thoroughly recommend this service and I certainly will again in the near future.

I used this company from website and previously using the facility shop years ago in Covent Garden, London.
Wanting to get a good rate for a 2021 Euro holiday, and seeing poor exchange rates in other standard high street FX shops, I decided to go online again.
CoventGardenFX not only offer good exchange rates, but from the moment I sorted out a Bank Transfer with them (problems of allowed total with Bank app) my trust in what I was being told was confirmed by the free special delivery of currency to my home address. Correct amount on order, correct day of delivery promised supported by Post Office tracking.
I personally hope they as a family run enterprise go from strength to strength, are able to maintain their competitie rates in the future.
Thank you to all individuals involved in my order, and I personally recommend anyone and everyone to use their services with confidence. Handing over your money before getting goods is not easy, but now having checked review count I can see 5 stars is very worthy.

This was my first time using Covent Garden FX as have always tended to use names more familiar with me who also accept payment by card. I can now say that I will be using them for all future orders because the rates are extremely competitive and they provide an outstanding service.

This is where I always go whenever I have a lot of euros/pounds to exchange. The other main advantage for me is that its just across the road from a branch of NatWest, so I am able to deposit my funds instantly into my account without having to traipse round London with large wads of cash and risk being mugged or pickpocketed. Beware that even in current Covid -19 circumstances there are light-fingered rogues still hanging around the Covent Garden and Leicester Square areas.

I have used Covent Garden FX for many years and speak to Sam who is always really helpful and the Euros we need are always delivered very quickly and great exchange rates.
