Great service from Cozy Energy. I'm very happy with our new Air Source Heat Pump. We did have a little hick up but someone came out straightaway to rectify the problem. Their installation team were all very friendly & left everything tidy. I'm very pleased with the new system.

Cozy energy is a great solar company to work with. Any issues I have had have been resolved fast. Also excellent customer service from the team.
They were very helpful, reliable and efficient at all times and the installers were also friendly and answered any questions I had about my solar panels.

Tidy install, system works really well. Ended up getting upgraded panels at no extra cost to myself too. Received my MCS certificate and all associated building control certificate. Really happy with Lee and the team at Cozy Energy. Thank you highly recommended.

Looks very much like they are shutting down. Been ringing for weeks. No one manning the phones and no response to email. Avoid at all costs. This company completely botched my SAHP installation leaving me with significant financial loss

Took nearly a year to install from time of ordering. Installation went well and system works ok but customer service is terrible. Also found out they have been suspended from certification authority and are therefore unable to provide installation information and certificate needed for selling excess electricity back to the grid. They are obviously having some difficulties one way or another so I would avoid.

Very happy with my new heat pump heating system and hot water cylinder. Had extra solar panels installed and new radiators also. Hot water provision great, have yet to trial the heating system but don’t anticipate any problems.
Had one or two issues, just teething trouble, that were speedily dealt with. Most impressive was Lee coming out to check a leak which was nothing to do with the installation at all and just charged me for petrol and parts.
All in all, the team were great, installers, office staff everyone.

I have been chasing Cozy energy Ltd for documentation for months with nothing to show to receive payment for energy you upload to your suppliers grid you have to send them your MCS installation certificate and the DNO (G99) as Cozy aren’t making these available to me I decided to look into WHY? I contacted the MCS body and was advised Cozy are currently suspended and due to be removed shortly this means I can’t receive any payments for energy! This was part of the reason for purchasing the system I doubt I’ll get a copy of the G99 as that doesn’t exist either, this company are fraudsters and should be closed down they didn’t even apply for the G99 so illegally installed my system without notifying my energy provider! there is no customer service and most of the staff have left. Only helpful when bullying the elderly into paying at 21.45 at night AVOID AVOID AVOID

Solar panels were installed in January 23, to this date still haven't received the handover pack. Which should include the certificate to enable me to be paid for the energy exported to the grid. We are out of pocket as they haven't completed the legal requirements. They should be shut down!!!They have stopped responding to all communications. Date of experience started in January 23 and still continuing to this day!!

An electrical explosion occurred when their electrician was connecting up their installation causing total loss of electricity for over a day. The GRID unwired it from the mains and put in writing that the solar wiring was poor. we decided to have it removed as we don't want any further electrical explosions or a house fire as company insisted there was nothing wrong with their wiring despite what GRID stated. They smashed several roof tiles, consequently we've had rain down damage in upstairs bedroom due to smashed tiles. There is now cracking of upstairs internal walls under the solar panels. The loft door no longer closes.
The bedroom door under solar panels is twisted in its frame. Our flat roof is leaking with the solar panels on it despite they knowing it was old and unsuitable.(its against the industry's rules to place them on an unsuitable surface) - the surface was too old and thin and its been leaking. They urgently need to be removed by the company in order to replace the roof.
Consequently we now have rotting pine floor that was newly installed in 2011 under leaking flat roof.
They put scaffolding over our windows and fire escape window both preventing us from escaping in the event of a fire and depriving us of daylight for months and refused to remove it despite having a person with autism and suffering huge anxiety in the room with the fire escape.
The company is demanding thousands in compensation in order to remove their system despite it never having worked. They've kept my £2750 deposit already, I've had to pay masses on repair of smashed roof tiles and need to rectify the ongoing rot of my flat roof and the damage to my pitched roof. This has been going on nearly a year and they have failed to remove their installation so I can repair my pitched roof fully after them, replace the flat roof that has been steadily getting worse and remedy the other things damaged. I would never recommend this company. If you have difficulty with this company report to the police immediately getting yourself a crime reference number and also quote my crime reference number so a dossier on them can be speedily built up. Perhaps a class law suit will remedy things for everyone who have been affected by this company is the way forward. They have made various threats and demands against me to try to intimidate me into removing the feedback.
1. The grid put in their report that they found the solar wiring "poor" and had to unwire the solar panel wiring from the mains. You have a copy of the report. Its time to stop shirking your responsiblities.
2. Cozy Energy did not replace the roof tiles that they smashed. I paid a separate company to do this months later as Cozy Energy refused to accept the responsiblity for having smashed the tiles despite photographic evidence emailed to the company before the installation and after the installation. It is completely false of Cozy Energy to claim that I removed any flashing. This is a new roof installed in 2011that has been damaged causing rain down. I have the time stamped photos to prove this.
3 Solar panels do cause damage to properties if the load is too much on the roof as is the case with my home. My property has been excellently maintained.
4 No roof survey was carried out what so ever before hand. Nobody ever came to our house beforehand.
5 The trader was asked many times to remove the installation but have continued to fail to do so. You refused to remove the scaffolding unless you got more money and I felt this was blackmail. You chose to leave the scaffolding there despite I making it clear that I wanted it along with the entire installation removed.
6 MCS NAPIT doesn't get involved unless the installation is fully connected. Therefore are useless and do not think any client can trust them if they have any electrical explosions or smashed up roof and are left with no electricity, no heat or light while these people drive off not caring
7 RECC I found are worthless as despite their RECC Code to which members are supposed to adhere, when Cozy Energy freely violated the rules RECC said they are unable to enforce the rules.
8 I never refused mediation with the RECC.
As anyone looking at this can see, please weigh carefully whether you want this kind of insolence slurs on your property if they smash it up.
If you are a victim of this company please notify the police on 101
immediately and give them my crime number so they can build a dossier.
I even offered them to keep the £2750 deposit in order to get them to drop their court action against me and remove their useless and dangerous solar installation so I can get my rotting flat roof and leaking pitched roof repaired but they haven't bothered to respond.
Avoid them totally to avoid all this hassle.

Update - it took a while - Cozy have now resolved all outstanding issues, with an apology and some compensation for the issues caused. They tell me they have made some changes internally and as are trying to resolve all issues. Mine are settled and they do now seem considerably more responsive. So all settled and review upgraded as a result. Without the problem period it would have been a 4 or 5 star and if they carry on as they have in the last couple of weeks following their reset, that's how they will rate for new customers.

Original experience:
Install carried out January. Initially responsive to problems with the installation and I'd say I have a system that works now (from April when they completed). However I could not export to grid (their quote relies on this for the system to pay back) because they had not issued MCS certificates or an MPAN. There was a long period of no response or update and I was concerned about the system ever reaching it's full payback (although generation was happening I couldn't sell to grid).

I had an outstanding experience with Cozy Energy, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Kirsty and Lee May.

Both were professional and knowledgeable, guiding me through the process. Kirsty’s & Lee May’s Expertise and hard work during the installation and follow up issues, exceeding my expectations.

The installation of batteries to go with my solar installation was carried out successfully in December 2022. The system continues to work well.

However, to complete the process, I have requested their help to fill out forms to confirm to OFGEM that my FiT payments can continue. They have been "too busy" to help. Without these forms I stand to lose over £4,000 of future payments.

The remedy is very simple: fill out the forms with the necessary detail so that my FiT supplier can re-enable my payments.

I had contacted several times this company and I can confirm that the customer service incredibly poor. I contacted the office (Kirsty) multiple times since June last year and left voice mails and following up emails but no response until February this year but since February they didn’t get in touch to resolve the issue .

Finally I managed to contact someone and they advised me to contact directly the manufacturer as my inverter isn’t working properly. Also no set up was done for the electricity sold so I am not getting any payment as I am not set.
Furthermore , they didn’t give the warranty documents , Prof of purchase as I was not given an invoice also I’m still missing a copy of the installation certificate as it wasn’t sent to me and it is missing a copy of the national grid connection notification.

My neighbour had his panels installation done with other company and everything was set with no issue.
I wouldn’t recommend them at all as once the installation is done you are left by yourself .

We had a domestic solar+battery system installed by Cozy Energy and are happy to recommend the company to neighbours, friends, family, and readers of Trustpilot. A few things really stood out:

The initial conversations were more like speaking to a trusted advisor or relationship manager than a sales-person.

The price was competitive, and an absolute winner when you also consider the quality and service.

The lead time was just a few weeks - impressive considering current supply chain disruptions and some of the doom stories from other bidders.

The communication before, during and after the installation was highly proactive.

The installation team were trustworthy, neat, and diligent - the kind of people you wish you could hire back for more jobs!

We had jointly anticipated some challenges working on a tall house with roof obstructions. In the end, more scaffolding was needed and we finished the work on a later date. All managed proactively and efficiently.

The owner dropped by on the last day to check everything was in order. A classy touch.

A previous reviewer alleged a financial incentive to leave a review. No such practices here.

Had a solar system installed in February very happy with the installation. Still waiting for all paperwork 2 months later, but appreciate it’s a long process.

The lady in the office was very friendly and helpful. I received a call from one of their technical guys to discuss our options. This was no obligation.
They gave me a very good price and they were very professional.
The installation went very well. The engineers were so polite and respectful of my property. The whole process from start to finish was very smooth indeed. I would give Cozy energy 5 stars.

Cozy energy came round to install my solar pv last week, they said the install may take a couple of days however they managed to do this in 1 day which was great! The instal team were very helpful and also very respectful to my property.

We needed to replace our hot water system and Cozy Energy supplied a new one that we are very pleased with. This all happened over the Christmas period wich made it all very difficult to get the work organized but Cozy Energy did all they could to speed up the process and initially sent someone to see if a temporary fix could be made. Unfortunately it couldn't but the attempt was appreciated. The engineers that came to install the system were polite, obviously expert and efficient.
