I bid on and won a watch on cqout sometime ago. I discovered it was fake and refused to pay for it. Cqout blocked my account even after I asked them to review the sellers listings.

Leave well alone.

I had a terrible experience. Now my money is in limbo but I couldn't order because my card needed a special feature. Whatever. But why was my money sucked out? Hopefully I will get my money back but who knows because these people are very shady.

There was a problem with my order it turned out that I had made a slight mistake with my address. I didn't realise until it had been brought to my attention as second time after ordering successively from the website before. The customer services representative John was very rude to me and very condescending. I will never shop at the site or use the site in any shape or form ever again.

The one thing this company CQOUT is good for is charging everyone both buyers and sellers left and right. For example, a buyer buys something, they charge the seller 7%, the buyer pays for the item, you have to use their own payment service no one elses, hit with another 3%, if the buyer uses secure pay, they hit the buyer 6% (rip off), then CQOUT holds the money for 30 days, then PayPal's you the money, and your hit with another 5.9% + .30 from PayPal for international.

7% + 3% + 6.5% = 16.5% of everything you make goes into their worthless pockets.
7% + 3% + 6.5% + 7% buyer = 23% of everything you make into their worthless pockets.

Trawled the internet looking for a book that other sites were no longer selling at a reasonable price. Found the book on CQOut via Google for a good price and proceeded to order. I then received a confirmation email saying the payment they took included a joining fee. I thought fair enough, as long as I get my book. Hours later I got another email telling me the book I wanted was no longer in stock and I'd been refunded the money for the book, but of course they kept the money from the joining fee and seeing as I'm unlikely to use this site again I feel like I was conned.
Steer clear of this website. It's a waste of time and money.

The item i ordered ( a Gorden Ramsay Bamix )was not what was sent. When i ordered it there was 99 in stock, i rang to ask if any of them was the one i wanted Mr Rohani said no,i said i was sending it back and wanted a full refund plus return postage of £12-95p which he agreed upon as the item was not the one advertised.Mr Rohani sent the refund but not the cost of postage.I have tried to contact him but will not answer either telephone or email.These items have now mysteriously been withdrawn,after i told him he could be in trouble for advertising one thing and sending something different .I will not be seeking them out again

I have been looking everywhere for a particular clinical textbook that is no longer being published. Though I had gotten lucky when a seller from Cqout.com appeared to have two copies in stock! The sign up fee was £2.00 which I was more than happy to pay. It was only after when I signed up and tried to go through with the process of purchasing the book I encountered problems. It appeared that the seller was no longer a registered user and there was no way I would be able to purchase it! This was after I received email confirmation that my bid had been processed and I was to proceed with payment!
Absolutely ridiculous! Needless to say, I was not happy.

had so many problems buying and selling in this site, BEWARE, DO NOT USE IT, STAY WELL CLEAR.

I use CQout all the time to buy and sell stuff. Its a safe environment with lots of security features other auction sites don’t have. There are no listing fees, so you can try it for free . If you
are not used to selling stuff on an auction, its a very easy site to upload to and the customer services are very helpful with prompt responses and advise if you need them. They even have their own online payment systems, if you are not registered with other on line payment providers. They make selling really easy and fun and take care of you. its not as busy but you are not up against big sellers like those on eboy and in these difficult financial times CQout has been a life saver for me. i have sold loads of unwanted household items to help pay the bills. thanks Cqout!

i have found CQout to be a great site, not perfect by any means but in my opinion better than most.
i particularly like securepay, an in house escrow service that as a buyer has saved my bacon on more than one occasion.
we all know that sellers sometimes fudge the details to make the lot sound better and this can lead to disputes between buyer and seller
securepay addresses this problem, if you ae not happy, you send the goods back to the seller and CQout gives you your money back.
so you can buy with complete security.
many times on eBay i have been stuck with the goods and little redress, even when having paid by paypal a complaint takes months to deal with and always seems to favor the seller.
as to listings and making them, the interface is easy, you can use your own templates and colors to personalize your auctions.
i find eBay too technical these days and quite daunting .
so i always use CQout first
its my favorite site and i recommend others try it

except for one potential sale, all was quiet on the CQout front.

One potential sale didn't go through and they attempted to collect
money for a failed sale. And, were rude about it ?!! I don't grok that
aspect of their business plan. Anger customers who are already frustrated?

Support was unfriendly, but at least they respond quickly, as opposed to
other sites who take several days to reply.

i started to join this site but reconsidered when i was asked for a joining fee so changed my mind. the next day i got an email asking what put me of and i said the fee. the follow up email was in my opinion, an attempt to spread scare stories about other auction sites, to justify the fee. I said that the fraudsters they were talking about werent going to be put off by a 2 pound fee and that i wished to have no further contact with them. their customer service guy "tim" ignored this request and mailed to say that i had missed the point (customer service speak for "your stupid"),

they seem a little desparate

After ordering a beard trimmer for my partner on Tuesday afternoon for his birthday on the Friday, I rang to enquire how long it would take for the product to arrive. I was advised upto 72 hours and was sent a tracking link. However, the product arrived on the Thursday and my partner was very happy with his gift.

The service I received was excellent. The camera was delivered within 3 days, as the weather conditions in Leeds were horrofic. I would certainly purchase goods from this Company again.

CQout is the best auction site out there. its easy to use, it has massive protection and security for buyer and seller. no lost deals, everyone completes, great customer service #1 site *****

CQout is very simple to use and takes very little time to set up an auction. The only down sides to them is they dont have a forum nor is there many customers around.

However it seems to be growing and I am enjoying being there.
