Overall the opportunities offered have been interesting and investment worthy. I've had numerous issues with the platform in the past and the lack of timely customer service can be frustrating.

Exception service / easy to navigate
Nothing is perfect - this is close!
Nothing is perfect - so a 4.5 out of 5 would be most appropriate.
Crowdstreet offers investment opportunities in a variety of real estate sub-categories but focuses on the most relevant ones in the respective economic environment. Over the years, offering sizes have increased and sponsor tenure and reputation have improved.
The investment process is straight forward and, with the new visual support, highly intuitive. A thing to improve would be more proactive communication approach for deals that have been sitting idly in the user's transaction area.
Other big plusses are the weekly StreetBeats videos, providing timely market updates, and the longer research presentations on the industry.

A fantastic portal for finding and tracking direct commercial real estate investments
CrowdStreet has been a fantastic tool for me to find and track my direct commercial real estate investments. It adds an extra layer of diligence to increase my confidence in the investments presented. Additionally, it makes tracking all my investments in one place very simple and easy.
Looking forward to continued features expansion
Looking forward to continued feature expansion on the portal for both end users and sponsors. Would like to see some integration functionality with other third party service providers for better accounting/data set work flows.
Great Platform!
The platform is incredibly easy to use. Crowdstreet has done an incredible job of streamlining what is typically a very laborious process to make CRE investments possible for individuals. They do a great job vetting out the best sponsors and investment opportunities, bringing only the best deals to the marketplace. Also, having a unified view of all your portfolio investments along with all documents in one place helps keep you very organized

Some of the project sponsors are not good. I don't mean the project return is low. I mean the quality of the sponsors, being responsive, showing respect to investors, communication effectiveness.

Best of Breed.
Best of Breed.
I have been investing in CRE through CrowdSteet for 2 year, in over a dozen offerings. Never had a problem. They are the best. I have also invested through other online CRE brokers, but no-one come close to the deal quality of CrowdStreet. Highly recommended.
CrowdStreet vs Competitors
Over the past 24 months I've invested into 30+ CRE deals through CrowdStreet and 3 other real estate crowd funding firms and I've found that CrowdStreet provides the best offerings with the most thorough analysis and information.
Crowdstreet is a game-changing offering…
Crowdstreet is a game-changing offering for both investors and sponsor's alike. The company has totally democratized the process of investing in commercial real estate for investors and has dramatically simplified the fundraising process for sponsors. There are other crowdfunding platforms, but none of these come close to the quality and efficiency of Crowdstreet, and no other platform offers an unbiased marketplace in the way that Crowdstreet does. At the core is an excellent team of professionals who make all of this work. Great company. Great product. Great Team
Offers look good but Horrible customer service.
I usually invest on RealtyMogul platform and whenever I needed them I could always reach my advisor. Then I thought I should research other platforms and came across Crowdstreet. Really liked their offerings committed on 2 properties. Did verify with them as accredited investor.
BUT I COULD NOT TRANSFER FUNDS AS INDIVIDUAL INVESTOR. Tried reaching crowdstreet customer service by phone email chat . No one calls back even always leave a voice mail.
Then we were very concerned and decided to back off .
If they don’t provide CS to a potential customer how can I expect them to take my call if my investment is in trouble?

Crowdstreet's customer service is nonexistent!
Crowdstreet's customer service is horrible. If you call them you get a message that says to email your question. You can also leave a voicemail, but in either case no one ever returns your calls or responds to your emails. I was recently on a Zoom presentation where they were raising money for a project that had previously gone bankrupt and the new owner was the same developer with a different name. My question about this was ignored by the host. How can they expect you to invest large sums of money when you can't even communicate them. Run from Crowdstreet as fast as you can.

I concur with all the negative reviews re Crowdstreet’s “horrendous” customer service. It’s really the worst I’ve experienced across the board. I’ve received no response whatsoever to my email and voicemail inquiries. Inexcusable. I’ve moved on.

CS brings many deals to the public
CS brings many deals to the public, from many companies. You can invest in company A and may wait a while until another opportunity presents itself on their platform. NO WHERE does CS state your ability down the road to invest directly with Company A in a completely different venture will be blocked by CS!! This is wrong on so many levels. Greedy? Maybe. Deceitful? No doubt. Someone you want to do business with? Hell NO.

I have invested in 4 CRE offerings from Crowdstreet over a period of 18 months. While they have lot of offerings I dont think the due diligence is sufficient. 3 of the 4 investments are under performing. The 4th one is also at risk now. While Covid has played a role but is only partially to blame.

Do not get on their mailing list
I have no first hand experience regarding their investments but it is virtually impossible to get off of their mailing list.
If you are just curious, do not sign up for their emails.

CS plentiful deals lacks customer service
Crowdstreet has a large and varied ( location, duration, sponsor, property type...) selection of CRE investments with numerous documents to help you become better educated, platform seems to be well planned for tracking investments made with different sorts to assist in diversification.. Platform seems to be more of a posting board for deals with non existent to limited response from Crowdstreet staff. Phone calls have never been answered out of 5 left messages one call has been returned using their preferred method of interaction, email, out of 4 one has been returned. When attempting to complete forms and fund an investment I need questions answered. Because of the time sensitive nation of funding in order to be included in an investment a wire transfer ($30) is best over ACH (no cost). I have not tried Fundrise at this point but RealtyMogul gives a dedicated person whom I found informed, there to assist and not to sell with great customer service and an unhurried experience. I like some of Crowdstreet but so far after 3 Investments I have to say in my opinion CS lacks in the investor relationship area. CS goes have regional get togethers which I will attend my first this month and expect an informative event and hope it’s not just a sale pitch.

So far, I have invested in 7 deals totaling $250K.I love the site and the service has been excellent.
Gave them a shot and they blew it....avoid
After laboring through the verification process (which is done through VerifyInvestor.com, which is VERY problematic), I made an offer on an investment, but finally had to retract and close my account due to an extremely unpleasant experience with their customers support (Reed L). I inquired with their about how the investment would be funded (the minute details that are missing from the FAQs), and instead of a professional explanation, I got a very patronizing and disrespectful reply. The problem being that funding with their investment partner required WAY too many moving parts (wiring to a bank, which then wires to another bank and so on). Apparently, this lack of 'integration' is common throughout their invesment partners. They really need to work on this and make the whole process more efficient. They certainly have some attractive offerings. But, I'm happy to do my investing with other, more professional platforms.
01-Feb-2022 Update: in response to CS reply below. Since the time I posted this review, I have learned much too much about CS and its dubious business practices! (search "Investors: Be Careful Walking Down CrowdStreet"). There is no way in hell I will ever give these guys my money. Never!

Reasonable to use but even if you express high interest in an offering before its made available, the best deals close before any regular people can get access to them.
