I subscribed for 2 months. The genres are badly organized, there is no way to filter by age rating, and overall the interface is very difficult to use. While they do have a good amount of anime, they don't have everything. In addition, the "free episodes" are not even worth it, as the literally pack 15 ADS into ONE episode. Overall, a disappointing experience. If you are an anime fan, use a different service: this one isn't worth it.

This is a recent experience with a still being uploaded and dubbed anime, the apothecary diaries.
It's a pro prostitution anime.
I was trying to give it a chance, it was okay till season 2 episode 33, title- the late emperor.

It's a pro pedophile episode in a pro prostitution series.
It is openly stated the late emperor is a pedophile, and he hates grown women pushing down his adult female concubine.
A younger child, lady in waiting walks up to him. Knows what he is, they then draw it and voice act it out like she likes and wants the emperor, a full grown man.

They then tell us he impregnated her, and then he stopped touching her because she got too old and then we see hes collecting more younger girls to impregnate and they portray the little girls as wanting to be impregnated by the adult male emperor.
Even to the point of the first little girl growing older and being jealous of the little girls being assaulted.
They mention they were not mature enough.
And the series from this point keeps mentioning he deflowered young girls.

Not raped not assaulted, deflowered.
There was no warning of child sex abuse. And no warning of pro pedophilia content.

As a big company you would assume they screen their anime, and have enough resources to put a label on the listing as well as who thought this was okay to be dubbed in English?
As a csa survivor this has reopened wounds that I have to heal over and over again.
I hope this review will bring positive change and prevent csa survivors from having to be surprised with pro pedophilia content from a company .

Completely fraud and thieves . Ordered from crunchyroll store , they sent damaged products and they dont follow the refund policy blaming courier although the box outside was unharmed. I requested to follow return policy that says i have the right for whatever reasson to return the products but they dont accept it either . I already contacted european consumer center today . If i cant get my rights, i will proceed with lawyers. Its not about the money its because they act like we are trash !

Terrible support i talked to an support agent. They did not help me at all. They straight up told me i was stupid for buying the wrong gift card. I Just bought an €20 giftcard and wanten to use it for a 60 Day mega fan subscription. They Just told that that was not possible.

The login is buggy on mobile, and it is too expensive currently for me.

I tried it now for the third time with paying the subscription. The only good thing is that I can watch it easily on my TV. Nothing more. The division of the genres is horrible. And if you put a filter for dub in, there are still many only sub-anime. A lot of anime aren't even on Crunchyroll. EVEN BIGGER ONES. And what's worse is that the languages are SO RANDOM. I can find Thai, Spanish or French and so on but no English. And some series start with the dub and then there are random episodes that don't even have the English sub. All just Japanese. Some series start with only sub/dub Japanese and then only German dub. If there are second or third seasons coming you can't see that either. And when the episodes come out neither, of you has to search for it yourself at the “new episodes” section. Almost every, if not EVERY pirating website is built better than Crunchyroll. I can't think of 2 positives that you can get the app on your TV and that the ppl working on the anime get at least A LITTLE.. money from our prescription. Or at least I hope. other than that I can only come up with how
stupid and horrible this app is.

Had an item on pre-order. Have awaited patiently for it to arrive and be shipped. I reached out to see what was going on with the order and was told that they tried charging my card but there were no funds. (Mind you, my order is still open currently as well. Was told there's a delay in their system?).

No notification was sent to me (was told my settings are off, which haven't been touched since the accounts opening). I also checked my bank and not even an attempted charge to my account indicating that crunchyroll tried.

Now I'm out a premium figure I was looking forward to and it's being sold for around almost twice as much.

There are better places to order your figures, dvds, books, and even to consume your anime.

I really don’t know why I see a lot of negative comments about the price I watch though prime it’s £4.99 extra a month considering how much is on there I think it’s a bargain and would say 90% is English dubbed love it I highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Its ok. Some of the episodes doesnt have english subtitle. Most of the time, characters are talking and not all of what they are saying has subtitles, so no idea what's happening.

DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM. THAY ARE SCAMMERS. THEY TRIED TAKING MONEY FROM MY ACCOUNT WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND WITHOUT ME HAVING ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE. THEY HAVE BEEN REPORTED.

I was charged for premium for 4 months. I asked my daughter how it was and she said too many commercials. They charged me but never gave me premium access. Support is terrible. Don't expect a chat reply in under 30 minutes. I have the receipts, but can't get a human to fix it.

I just got an e-mail that new device is using my account. I didn't even remember that I created account there. Anyway I changed password immediatelly and then started to looking out for "delete account" option.

Well, good look finding it on their website. When they tell you to download the app to delete account you know it's stinky. But hey, wait. Clicking isn't enough. During the process you get million notifications that first you need to cancel your subscription. Even in the FAQ they couldn't give you simple answer how to delete your account.

At the end you have to send request in another website where you have to input your e-mail. Then you got an e-mail and you have to confirm it by clicking a button. I was nervous that it's some scam. How can you made that process so long, annoying and scary at the end?

I even doubted that I created an account there and that "new device is using your account" was a fake alert just to actually creating an account lol.

Absolute garbage. Incompetent support staff who lie to you and argue when you call them out on the lie. They might steal your card information and have very scammy practices overall. Do not use this service; find somewhere else to watch your anime.

Worst streaming service ever the anime awards are a joke Bleach shouldve won every single category the fact that jin woo won mc of the year even though their is 0 writing behind him is a joke. Said that they had dragon Ball super broly in English (they don't) I tried everything. I only had fan. Not super fan

The Help page is needly hidden. I see no point in keeping my subscription with the way your quality has declined.
Your dubs and voiceovers have gotten worse lately.
Hundreds of sound effects are missing, everything sounds cheap and rushed.
There’s zero focus on user experience — it’s all just about min-maxing.
Your whole service is a huge letdown. Doesn’t matter if it’s German, English, or any other language — we’re just getting garbage now, probably because you're putting insane pressure on the studios.
And for this pile of crap, I’ve been paying money this whole time.
