Good product, late delivery
Quoted delivery 10 working days (slow, in itself). Actual delivery 14 working days. Had I not phoned on day 11 to query non-delivery, I suspect it might have been even later.

However on this occasion we were been let down by the manufacturer of this particular item who were experiencing delays with the manufacturing process and we weren't aware of this at the time of your order being placed. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused and please note that had we been aware of this delay we would have contacted you immediately to let you know.
We do have a large range of cupboards on our website including some which are delivered within 24 hours and we could have advised this at the time of placing your order if you needed a quicker delivery and made us aware of this.

I can see that your order was placed at approx 15.40 on Friday 5th February and we delivered your cupboard to you on Monday 18th February. The delivery time quoted for this particular item is approximately 10 working days which means your cupboard was actually delivered on the 11th working day after the date of your order.
Our delivery times are quoted in good faith and to keep costs down to our customers we always utilise the best delivery options available and in this case the best option was for the supplier to deliver your item to you directly. We are sorry that this meant a delay of one working day and hope you were not inconvenienced too much because of this.

Excellent quality
We have just taken delivery of the Beech Lunchbox Trolley much to the delight of the Day Care Staff. This replaced a wire frame trolley that was forever needing tightening up - and squeaky as anything. The new trolley is very sturdy, looks good and holds more lunch boxes, so a winner in many ways.

Unlike some other companies, we always quote realistic delivery times but unfortunately on this occasion we have been let down by the manufacturer of this particular item which is out of stock and we weren't aware of this at the time of your order being placed.
I am not sure if you are aware, but we did advise Denise Harper by email that delivery would be approximately 4 weeks and she confirmed that this was fine and to continue with the order.
Please note that we have also now added a note to the webpage advising that the delivery time has been temporarily extended to 4 weeks which will revert back to 5 working days as soon as we have more stock available.

If you are wondering whether to go to Ikea because they are cheaper DON'T! These storage units are so well made and sturdy and delivery was exactly as promised. I was really happy.

Strong and good quality. Delivered ready made. Bought extra shelf to suit my requirements. Ideal for keeping stock in with lockable door. Went for powder blue - it looks great and softens it nicely rather than being too industrial looking in the office. Very happy. Good customer service too.

Our capacious & well-made beech wood cupboard is exactly what we wanted - and arrived on time with no faults. Can only recommend Cupboards Direct warmly - especially to those who wish to avoid time-consuming & possibly frustrating self-assembly. Ok, appreciate we may have paid a little more for the privilege ... but well worth it!
