Overall curseforge has met my expectations. They handled the incident with trojan viruses quite quickly and helped victims remove the trojans. The new system puts every mod and thier updates through extensive scans to make sure the community is safe. Incompatibilities between mods is very easy to deal with. The only downside is how difficult it is to make mods compared to fabric or neoforge.

As an addon author I was struggling with some bugs and limitations on the new Beta website. Their support team was immensely helpful in both assisting me and fixing the issues!

The team is very responsive and helpful for any tickets I enter.

Wanted to try making a custom Modpack for Minecraft and it was successful. Had some contact with the customerhelp and found solutions - honestly- for my lack of knowlege. But now everything works fine, even the serverpack is running and a Petrodactyl installation was successful. For me it was a good experience.

I had a problem with performance and they solved it. They were patient even when I would go silent for a week because I forgot about it. Their response was immediate and very friendly. Thanks guys!

In my opinion the costumer review was awesome and really helpful and the reward prgoram is really cool too and I can finally make a bit of money

Edit: They are now hosting mods that don't work unless you make an off platform payment to someone and get some extra code from them to put on your sever with the mod. This is a VERY unsafe and unprofessional way to distribute mods to servers.

There moderation team believes that mods shouldn't be uploaded until they are tested and complete. But part of testing is using a dedicated server and the only way to get the mod there is to upload and go through CurseForge. So my first mod has become a nightmare of arguing with someone who doesn't understand their job just to try to test my mod to be able to say it is tested and complete.

Do you see how this just leaves everything in a circle of defeat?

I have contacted the support staff of Curseforge three times, and I have been given a good impression each time. I believe that Curseforge will get better and better.

I have had a problem with curse forge for almost two months so I tried everything I could then spoke with a lovely woman called dana she has been helping me throughout the whole journey while I've been struggling she's had complete patience with me when I couldn't figure simple things out she's been extremely kind to me and supported me and she didn't say anything at all with disrespect or anything like that I could tell at some point dana was a bit confused and struggled with my problem but she managed to work around it and dana if you see this thank you so much I couldn't describe how HAPPY I was when I found out my problem was fixed and thank you so much im so grateful for everything you did for me thank you for your hardwork I appreciate it and I hope you have a amazing dy and thank you for anyone who's taking there time reading this

Deserves no stars at all. They are selfish jerks. If they don't like you for surface level stuff, they will never help you if you have issues when you make reports. They don't know me, yet they think the worst of me just because I like something that the moderators like. There is no place for discrimination and blind hate in this world.

It's fine but they should add so you can still use it with windows 11 idk with the other games but for minecraft forge and fabric it works like windows 10 so they should just let windows 11 user use curseforge and their support sucks
