If you loved Cornwall the first time, I recommend seeing it again with the Dacey’s Cornish Revisited Tour. More beautiful seaside villages, more Cornish history, exciting hotels with a story of their own, and so much more! David really showed us some ‘hidden gems’ that we would not have found on our own. A lovely group of people to share the experiences with. I really didn’t want the week to end. When will the Revisited II Tour start?

My husband and I enjoyed our first tour with Dacey’s so much that we signed up for the ‘revisited’ tour. Both tours were truly lovely in every way. Aside from the charismatic tour director and amiable driver, our fellow travelers were wonderful, as it happened! I highly recommend Dacey’s tours, and I think it’s a good value.

A long time dream to visit Cornwall, and it couldn't have been better!!! Small group with wonderful tour guide David, staying in a different village each night on the sea, and beautiful and historic places to visit between one village and the next. We were able to see so much of Cornwall in our one week there, and also had plenty of time to leisurely explore every place we visited. Just perfect!!!

Once again, Dacey's Tours was amazing! David offers a relaxed & informative tour of Cornwall. He takes us to places we probably would never see without his help. The hotels he chooses for his tour group are wonderful. The people in my tour group had all been with David on a previous tour so the atmosphere was casual & friendly. Just finishing up our Daceys Revisited Tour! It has been well worth the wait (caused by pandemic delays). David does not fail in plotting out the best places to see and stay. This trip has included King Arthur’s Tintagel Castle- amazingly magical and beautiful; the Bodmin Moor to see the megaliths and learn more about the energies of our earth, and a three night stay at the Bodmin Jail Hotel! Wow! The tour of the jail should not be missed! As always ,

I’ve travelled with Dacey’s twice, my most recent trip having ended less than a week ago. The relaxed pace and self-tailored nature of these escorted tours, coupled with the obvious love David has for Cornwall and his passion for sharing the gems of this place, makes me say that a trip with Dacey’s is the very best way to experience Cornwall. I unreservedly and highly recommend Dacey’s Cornish Tours for a personal, friendly, fun, and adventuresome tour of beautiful, breathtaking Cornwall.

I loved everything about my trip to Cornwall with Dacey’s tours. Going with a smaller tour group was the way to go. Our guide David who is from Cornwall, planned the perfect trip, seeing all of the best spots and staying in the best lodging. You could customize every day to your liking- hiking, shopping, wandering through the quaint village streets or just lounging away the day in a charming pub. I loved my trip so much that I signed up for David’s Cornwall revisited trip. Sadly, Covid waylaid us, but even then David was kind enough to give me a full refund on my deposit. Such service!!!! 5 stars is not a high enough review for David and Dacey’s Cornish Tours.

We have nothing but praise for the way David has handled everything from our first inquiry to 2 years of covid postponements to our finally having to cancel again for personal reasons .He has gone out of his way to be helpful in organising re-bookings with excellent communications and follow up. When we had to cancel again he gave us a refund of our deposit without hesitation. We would highly recommend David and his company and hope we can do a tour with him in the future ,Rod & Irene

My family went on Dacey's Cornish Tours in June, 2019 and had the time of our lives. David Warner is top notch at what he does in setting up an incredible itinerary with 5 star accommodations and then leading the tour with as much or little structure as each individual wishes. He truly loves every corner of Cornwall and has become expert in sharing that with all on his tours.
When Covid hit and he had to cancel all tours in 2020, David kept our spirits up with his monthly news letter (which all who go on tour receive). He came up with the brilliant idea to create a new trip called "Cornwall Revised" to visit places not seen in the original tour, to happen in June 2021 once this pesky virus had blown over. My husband, daughter and I signed up eagerly. Unfortunately, we all know that travel in 2021 was still compromised and so David informed us that he had made the executive decision to delay this tour for another year because he wanted to ensure that his guests could enjoy Cornwall at its best with no restrictions. At that point he offered to return all down payments to anyone who did not wish to wait another year. We were fine with waiting until May, 2022.
Then due to unforseen circumstances during the past year we sadly had to cancel our reservations for the Cornwall Revised Tour and I emailed David on November 28, 2021 to inform him. That night he wrote back with the kindest, most gracious response. I felt so bad about cancelling that I didn't even mention our deposit, but he assured me that it would be returned in full and mailed the very next day.
If everyone ran a business like David Warner we would probably be able to achieve world peace. He is efficient, fair and above all a kind human being who is great at what he does.

In this world where customer service is often less than exemplary, how refreshing it was to deal with David at Daceys Cornish Tours!
Because of continued travel restrictions and the safety revolving around this world pandemic, my sister and I reluctantly decided to cancel our scheduled tour for September 2021, booked in the fall of 2020.
From our initial booking to email conversations throughout the past winter until our final decision, David has been supportive, informative and professional in his advice. There were no ifs, and or buts about a refund of our deposit and the cheque arrived within a week.
Our experience was seamless and has given us a profound feeling of gratitude in that regard.

Our Cornwall adventure with David and Jim was truly amazing. What glorious land and seascapes every day to behold.The incredible narration, full of history and current conditions mingled with humor, by both David and Jim made the trip a joy. Having a wonderful group of fellow travelers added to the perfection. Poldark and Doc Martin fans that we are made the locale even better. As others have suggested , good walking shoes are a must

This tour was everything that I had hoped it would be (Sept. 2019). It was a trip down memory lane for me and when I mentioned taking holidays in Delabole, David made a point of talking about the village as we drove through it and its connection with slate. The added touch was having a Cornishman as our driver who had a sense of humour and who was a great story teller. A well organized tour and one that I recommend.

Our Cornwall adventure was outstanding! David made the trip special due to his knowledge of Cornwall, attention to each member of the group, and his fun sense of humor. We appreciated the flexibility given at each site to make the tour our own. One of the highlights was the small fishing village of Port Isaac where we could explore the coast on our own. All accommodations were selected with attention to great locations. Every day was just another perfect day!

I loved Dacey’s Cornish Tour. This tour went to all the places on my bucket list - Port Isaac, St. Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre and more. David, owner and guide, is very organized, knowledgeable and fun. He truly enjoys sharing his love of Cornwall. Jim, our driver, is amazing. You really have to be a skilled driver to navigate the narrow coastal roads! Thank you David and Jim for a wonderful trip. Your love of Cornwall is evident in everything you shared.

I chose this tour as it included the Eden Project, Lost Gardens of Heligan, St Michaels Mount and Port Isaac - the main attractions I wanted to see in Cornwall/Devon. This was a tour where it was acceptable to do your own thing if you wanted, no sticking rigidly to the tour programme. Accommodation was chosen carefully to give a unique experience on a daily basis. From a castle to a hotel built in the 14th century. David was very caring and made an effort to get to know his customers. Group size was just right. Jim our driver was extremely knowledgable about Cornwall and squeezed our van through some very tight spaces!!

The tour was very well organized and David and Jim provided much information about the area they love so much. With only 14 on the tour and a small van - we were able to get into small fishing villages. The tour hits many of the major sights in Cornwall - My highlight was St Michael’s Mount - buy the pasties and scones at Philps. It was a great trip - make sure you have a good pair of walking shoes!

Incredibly awesome tour! I've never been fond of going on tours because I like to have the flexibility to do what I like to do. This is a tour that offers an organized, but casual, way of seeing the incredible sites of Cornwall. I always felt like I had some control over what I wanted to see & do. David was an enjoyable, knowledgeable guide and Jim was an excellent driver with a wealth of knowledge about the Cornwall area. They are an awesome team as they lead you through the beauty & history of Cornwall. I loved the relaxed friendly atmosphere of this tour. The hotels David picked for us to stay in were absolutely top notch! The rooms were great, the locations were great and, of course, the food was great! I would go on another tour with David & Jim in a heartbeat! Thank you, David & Jim, for the best tour ever!

Cornwall is the star and Dacey knows that. Better yet, he knows Cornwall and hits the spots everyone hopes to see as well as out of the way or lesser known spots that make traveling with him special. He advertises that his isn't a cookie cutter tour. Here is one example that illustrates that: After checking into our hotel above Port Issac, he offered the group a bus ride into town, or a 25 minute downhill walk with him, or a more challenging four mile hike along the Cornwall Coast that would end in Port Issac. We chose the latter and he showed us where to begin, gave us directions to the Coast (it's hard to miss) and told us it would be a challenging two hours. It was and unspeakably beautiful. Just one of many highlights and why we are pleased we chose Dacey. Humor, other tips on where to go or eat, Jim, our excellent driver and raconteur, and the stunning scenery at every turn explain the deserved five star rating. In St.Ives, don't miss the Hepworth Museum and if Dacey says "bring everything you've got" about the trip to the Minack Theater, take him at his word.

I met my brother in law Derek and Michelle with my wife while they were on their Cornwall tour with Maceys my wife and i and joined the group for a meal in the old school house at Port issac ( Port wen in the Doc Martin tv series ) it was very nice the meal was top quality, We later met the family and group in Charlestown ( where the british hit tv series poldark is filmed ) we had another meal in their hotel with the group it was great again, I thank Daceys tours and the group for making us so welcome it made our trip more enjoyable Rita and Rick from Doncaster ( Yorkshire england ).
