I highly recommend Dacey's Cornish Tours. I took the May 12-18 2019 tour and enjoyed it very much. David Warner organized the tour perfectly. The balance between sightseeing and free time was excellent. The hotels were comfortable and charming, and the breakfasts were delicious. Our driver, Jim, was extremely skilled, which is needed on Cornwall’s one lane roads!! He regaled us with many local stories and legends. David and Jim were always helpful and considerate. The tour was fun from start to finish, and we saw so much of beautiful Cornwall.

After "surfing the web" many times, I am so pleased I found this particular tour with David Warner & his driver Jim.
Having corresponded many times with David prior to my trip to U.K., I felt as though I was meeting an old friend again when I first met David at the "Lancaster Gate" hotel in London.
David has a fantastic personality, is professional, warm, friendly and ever helpful. His attention to detail and eagerness to assist was very much appreciated.

Jim is an extremely capable driver, maneuvering the bus through small streets with great skill. His sense of humour with his Cornish tales had us all chuckling!

The tour was a delight - weather fantastic, accommodation very comfortable, sight-seeing to please all types, fellow travellers charming. My only disappointment was that I could not "find" "Aiden Turner" (Poldark).

What more could I ask for on a tour? I was sad when we all said our farewells.
I would thoroughly recommend "Dacey's Cornish Tours" to anyone interested in visiting this wonderful part of the United Kingdom.

It became apparent that Daceys Cornish Tours is an A-1 and highly professional operation when first corresponding with David with many questions, all of which were answered promptly and options given. So I felt I knew David somewhat before the tour even began, and since this was my first international tour, that was important! David proved even more congenial and informative in person. Since this has been my only tour, there are no others to use in comparison...still, I believe it is the only and best way to see Cornwall. Hats off to David for his great organization, tour choices, availability to one and all for special requests and his jovial approach to the tour, which put us all at ease. The tour choices were spot on, the fantastic driving skills by Jim instilled confidence. What a great tour with wonderful fellow travelers, fantastic scenery and "inside" stories from David and Jim that made it so special. If Cornwall is your destination, this is your way to see it!

We couldn't have been happier with our Dacey's Cornish Tour in late April. Please read the article from "International Travel News" on Dacey's website for the description of the tour that convinced us to sign up. The actual tour was even better than we expected and was the perfect way to experience the magic of Cornwall. "Magical" is really the only word to describe this part of England that still feels ancient and undiscovered. David, the tour director/owner/concierge, and Jim, the superb driver and local historian, provide a relaxed, fun environment, handling all the logistics but leaving some free time to explore at your own pace. And since Cornwall is the only place they go, they have local connections everywhere and have fine-tuned the itinerary to show their travelers the very best of Cornwall. We've taken many tours, but this was one of the best.

One of the best trips i’ve ever been on. Cornwall far exceeded my expectations. I think it’s the best of England and should be on everyone’s bucket list. This trip offered something for travelers of all ages. You could walk through, shop and eat in lovely harbor towns or hike along cliffs and climb to the top of a castle. Everyday offered something new, unique and totally beautiful. Our guide David and driver were fun, kind and knowledgeable and made this trip all the more enjoyable. I would highly recommend seeing Cornwall with Dacey’s Cornish tours. Now if I could only talk David into doing a Cotswold/Bath tour. 😉

Our close-knit group of four has traveled through Canada, the U.S. and Europe and I can honestly say our recent trip to Cornwall with Dacey's Cornish Tours was one of our best trips ever. Cornwall is a magical place and we experienced the best of it. David is an excellent guide with a fun-loving, warm personality. His hotel picks were great. This was my fourth visit to Cornwall and the most memorable. Dacey's Tours took me into unexplored parts. The smaller coach, expertly driven by Jim, was able to drive though wonderful villages. Fowey was very picturesque and narrow.
David was an attentive host and provided wonderful opportunities. A play at the Minick Theatre will never be forgotten. We were a mixed group in ages and nationalities yet blended together well. The very best way to visit Cornwall.

Wonderful tour guide who really loves Cornwall and really gets a kick out of people. Everywhere he goes people are very happy to see him.
Jim the driver is great at his job and also very good at relating the history and legends of Cornwall.
The hotels were all unique, charming and very comfortable.
Perfect mix of scheduled activities and free time.

A great tour, balancing free time with scheduled activities. The small group experience is the way to go! We loved the little villages, spectacular scenery, and listening to Jim, the driver, and David tell us about the history of Cornwall.

This was my first trip abroad I’m so glad I found Dacey’s Cornish Tours. The trip was all I expected and more. David arranged group outings and also allowed us time to go exploring independently. The accommodations were wonderful and quaintly Cornish. I highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to visit Cornwall. I can’t wait to go back. Maybe in 2020.

Cornwall is beautiful and visiting with Dacey's is the perfect way to enjoy it. David is a genial and knowledgeable guide. Jim, our driver and a guide in his own right, entertained and informed us with his love for his native Cornwall. Plus, he managed some amazing maneuvering on the narrow Cornish roads. The itinerary combined just the right amount of organized activities and free time. The small group size of no more than 14 works well. I highly recommend this tour and this company.

We are so lucky that when we were looking for a small group tour of Cornwall we were referred to Dacey's Cornish Tours. Our tour was all we'd hoped it would be, and more, and we fell in love with Cornwall! David had everything very well organized, and he communicated "the plan" clearly, so that every day went smoothly. We were able to relax knowing that not only had David arranged everything so well for us, but also that Jim's expertise at navigating the narrow roads and the tight corners in towns is truly amazing! This tour is the perfect mix of doing things together with the group, or exploring independently if you want to. There were many little surprises along the way, great traveling companions, fun and laughter and so many good times to remember.

We just came off the June 18 tour and can honestly say we enjoyed every day and every mile. David cares about his business and the satisfaction of his customers. Every issue that occurred with the small group we traveled with was handled with politeness and efficiency. We met lovely people on the trip, many retired just like us. I want to give David credit for the weather but that may be a stretch, though his suggestion to hug the ancient stones in the stone circle might have helped. I wish there was a Dacey tour of other places in England as I would engage with him over and over.

Every stop on Dacey's tours was a highlight, no disappointments. Everything was very well thought out and I felt it gave us a broad view of wonderful Cornwall. Every stop was a wonderful experience. This was my first trip abroad and I couldn't have made a better choice. I would not have to think twice about taking a Dacey tour again. Being a small tour group added to the enjoyment as we all became acquainted with each other and were able to enjoy the Cornwall experience together.

I have been on many tours and this was the best. Professionalism and hospitality were exceptional. David Warner and Jim are very knowledgeable of Cornwall and it is obvious they want to share it. It was relaxing, extremely informative, beautiful, well presented, filled with anticipation for the next destination or event. If Mr. Warner exclusively became a tour company in any area of the world, I would go with him. He allows for individual interests, assists in a very caring and personal way while maintaining professionalism all the while allowing his participants to immerse themselves in the countryside and culture. You can tell he loves it. This was a grand experience.

It was a great tour! David Warner was great as he allowed us time for ourselves to explore or walk with him for a guided tour. The places we visited were exceptional in every way, although the British plumbing was somewhat different from the US, it gave us some funny moments. He took us to some out of the way places that were interesting and fun where other tours don't usually go. If you are a Doc Martin or Poldark fan this is the tour for you. Even if you aren't a fan and just would like to explore Cornwall and its culture and history , I highly recommend Daceys Cornish Tours! You will not be disappointed.

I had a wonderful time on my tour of Cornwall with Dacey's Cornish Tours. David is a wonderful guide and host and Jim is an excellent driver. Touring with a small group is the way to go, as we all enjoyed each other's company and became fast buds. If you are a solo traveler, as I was, this is the tour for you. Our group had several solo travelers. You can go off on your own, wander with the group, or do a little of both. For dinner, David was always kind enough to invite those who would like to, to dine with him. If there is any other tour of Cornwall that allows you to see the many sights and towns that we did, I don't know of it. And as a bonus, you get to see some of London at the beginning of the tour and at the end. I would recommend booking a hotel room for at least 2 days before the tour or at the end of the tour, if you think you'd like to explore London. David made sure to take us on a walking tour of London around our hotel, where we were able to see Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, and Buckingham Palace. If you are a Doc Martin fan, prepare to be amazed by the beautiful views of Port Isaac. There is also something for Poldark fans as well. All in all, a wonderful tour, and I plan to go again in the near future.
