We absolutely loved this tour from beginning to end. David is a fantastic guide, with a delightful personality. His passion for this magical place is truly infectious. Our driver Jim did a remarkable job maneuvering the narrow roads, and provided insightful commentary on the legends and rich history of Cornwall. There were so many special moments on this trip, we highly recommend it to everyone!

Best tour! I especially enjoyed the Longcross Hotel and dinner in the hotel restaurant.

Such a fun-filled, fuss-free week of stunning scenery and good company! "Dacey' Cornish Tours" (David Warner) paints a comprehensive picture of Cornwall old and new, of narrow village and country lanes, of everyday life in Cornwall remarkably still unchanged from times past. The best tour ever!

I highly recommend Daceys Cornish Tours to anyone who wants to visit Cornwall. It is the BEST and ONLY way to see Cornwall. Being natives of Cornwall, David, Harry and Jim are eager to share their local knowledge and love of the area. It was a thrill to visit St Michael's Mount and Lands End (both on my Wish List for years). It was exciting to visit Port Isaac (Doc Martin's Portwenn) and meet the actor who plays the Policeman. The Minack Theater, on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean, is a breathtaking experience. There were many surprises, like an up close (nose to nose) meeting with a cow being moved with his herd from one pasture to another. Harry gave us a tour of Fowey, his hometown. I learned that Fowey had a chain across the harbor to protect the town from the Spanish Armada. In addition to being a great driver, Jim also took us to several local sites of interest. As a former History Teacher, it was amazing to see the Roman walls in Exeter.

My wife and I recently returned from Daceys Cornish Tour and it exceeded our expectations. I now know why people fall in love with this area - steeped in history and with a beautiful landscape. Initially we considered renting a car and exploring the area on our own but the roads are very narrow and driving on the "wrong side" of the road would have been much too challenging. Not being familiar with the area, one would never have been able to see all the wonderful sites that were included on the tour and were presented so expertly by David, Harry and Jim. We first became aware of this area because of our devotion to the TV series, Doc Martin and Poldark. The tour didn't disappoint as it is the only one we found that actually overnights in Port Isaac. If you are a Poldark fan, there were also a couple of nice surprises! David, Harry and Jim couldn't have been more knowledgeable and accommodating. We highly recommend this tour!

A good introduction to Southwest England at a reasonable price. The tour guide and his staff were consistently concerned with the safety and comfort of the clients. Having only 14 people on the trip is one of the best aspects of the tour - we developed a camaraderie the first day, and the tour maintained a fun-loving and informative tone throughout. Wonderful little surprises every day.

Just finished spending a week on the Cornish coast with Dacey's Cornish tours. It was the perfect mix of a small guided tour combined with free time to explore on your own. David, Harry and Jimmy made the trip fun and shared their passion for this beautiful corner of the world.

My trip to Cornwall with Daceys was a magical, memorable experience. This was my first solo trip overseas. David, Harry and Jim were the most genuine and caring gentleman, at no stage on the trip did I feel I was travelling alone. Their local knowledge was invaluable and we experienced the real Cornwall just like a local. The hotels we stayed all offered wonderful accommodation in keeping with the character of Cornwall. You have to visit Cornwall to understand the magic and Daceys Cornish tours undoubtedly delivered the magic. The perfect tour to see and experience all that Cornwall has to offer, Under the able and knowledgeable guidance of David, Harry and Jim, the tour was exceptionally well organized and run and included charming accommodations. Now that I am totally enamoured with Cornwall, I would like to revisit and most certainly would go again with Daceys Cornish Tours.

The only "negative" is that I am currently spending too much time binge watching past seasons of Doc Martin and reliving some of my wonderful Cornwall experience. :>)

Our trip with Daceys to Cornwall was truly one of the highlights of our six week long visit to the UK, visiting places that were just that little bit different from the usual tourist sites, The local knowledge, interesting and amusing stories we heard from our guides David, Harry and Jim were wonderful. So many highlights in our six days in Cornwall it is hard to pick just one or two as "favourites" but probably, for me, it would have to have been Charlestown and being able to visit the village that my family had come from many generations ago. Thank you David and Harry for your research and encouraging me to visit! Thoroughly recommend this tour to anyone who wants to see the real Cornwall, and get off the main roads. Accommodation was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.

A marvelous experience! The tour leader, assistant and driver were fantastic, allowing me to see the places I've dreamed of. The accommodations were surprisingly updated and convenient in quaint settings. If you are looking for the true Cornish experience, this is the real deal.

I have wanted to go to Cornwall since the early 70"s when the first Poldark series aired and made it an absolute priority after the second. That dramatic scenery called to me and this tour did not disappoint. My travel companions and I happened upon Dacey's Cornish Tours on the Internet and what a treasure it turned out to be. Under the guidance of David, Harry and Jim i felt there was a magical surprise around every corner and a true not commercialized experience. Their love for and knowledge of the area was allowed for a very special experience. Beautiful scenery and charming accommodations are part of the lovely surprises. Also, there is plenty of time to explore on ones own with help whenever needed, There were so many beautiful experiences i hesitate to mention just a few. For those who want to see beautiful scenery, are a fan of Doc Martin and Poldark, love quaint seaside villages and beautiful gardens on a tour that does not feel so much like a tour but a journey with interesting and knowledgeable friends this is the Tour for you. I would do it again gladly, One trip to Cornwall is no enough.

I loved this tour from start to finish. The three men, David, Harry and Jim are sweethearts, who sweep you along this wonderful tour with grace, humor, modesty, and fun. You never feel rushed, and yet the schedule is always adhered to. There is time to really enjoy each stop thoroughly, and have a bite to eat or an ice cream (a must.....made with rich local cream),
then on to the next surprise. The hotels are all charming and comfortable with lovely breakfasts included. The Poldark and Doc Martin fans will love some of the stops. Very beautiful sites where filming takes place. This tour is given from kind and generous hearts.....hard to find such a lovely thing in this world. Thank you from Victoria, BC, Canada!

The Cornwall coast was wonderful, the highlight of our trip to England. Our tour guides were great, warm, friendly,informative and great fun. We had lots of free time to explore this magical place and make our own memories. Daceys tour was great, easy to book online with absolutely no hassles. As a huge PBS fan I wanted to see the areas where Doc Marten & Poldark are filmed. My search led me to Dacey's & it was a great tour of a very special area of the world. The quaint little fishing villages, the rocky shores & the gardens were fantastic. The concert at the Minack Theater was a plus. Climbing St Michael's Mount & the numerous hilly walks were a challenge but worth the effort. Thanks to David, Harry & Jim for a great experience!

We were lucky to find Dacey's Cornish Tours on the internet. It was a perfect fit to tackle this item on our "bucket list". David, Harry and Jim are experts on this special part of England. The efficient van allows a perfect vantage point for the descriptions of the close-up views of the places they cover. It is a perfectly paced tour.
If you are lucky you will see characters from 'Doc Martin' in Port Isaac. You may see an event at the stunning Minack Theatre. Each hotel is a gem in its own right.
It is obvious from day one that the guides' goal is to insure a completely fulfilling experience for each of the tour members. They succeed in spades!

Cornwall is beautiful and Daceys Cornish Tours took us to all the important sites with sufficient time to explore the lovely towns and gardens independently at our own pace. No group lectures, name tags, or headsets (thank goodness)! David, Harry, and Jim made traveling easy and fun.
