Excellent service from beginning to end. The initial survey of the house helped us identify the extent of the damp, but also which areas of mould just needed to air out. The team doing the work were always on time, friendly and professional. Not only would we recommend, but we plan on using them again next year as we get round to addressing the damp in other parts of the house

The professional advice and other helpful tips we received from Stuart were very sound. The problem we thought we had with damp was quickly identified as being due to condensation. His sound advice has proved to be absolutely correct.
The work needed was undertaken with great thought and care by Lee. There was little or no mess and everything was left in a tidy state.

We had a woodworm survey undertaken costing £50 some weeks ago by Damp Proof Solutions for our daughter.
The survey took at most 20 minutes some of which time was spent on a private phone call outside.
The suggested treatment for woodworm was merely spraying alone at a cost of £2500 and with no guarantee!
We would be interested to know what the sqm rate for treatment is by DPS as this is a bungalow that is suspended flooring at the front and solid floor to the rear.
We didn't even feel confident that it was actually going to be done through the company.
The surveyor made no mention of floors needing replacing despite clear damage where they had given way. He estimated the job to be done in one morning! We also were asked to phone him on a personal number he gave us and he made it patently clear a decision must made by the end of that day.
We went elsewhere and had the initial spraying alone done for £500 where the extent of the fragility of some of the floorboards became even more apparent.
We were informed exactly what had been done, what remedial treatment was essential to be done with a 15 year insurance backed guarantee that is peace of mind as the company will return at no further cost if, though unlikely, it were to reoccur.
As a qualified joiner as well as fully qualified and accredited contractor to treat woodworm
we therefore then asked our contractor to undertake all of the work. This was extensive but still came below what DPS estimated even though it now also included total floor removal and replacement in the kitchen and part replacement of the lounge floorboards with treated chip board and the further spraying of joists exposed in that process.
This work took another whole day on top of the initial inspection and spraying with the identified product by a qualified contractor stated on our guarantee.
We had already had a step ladder go through the floorboards in the bay of one room, clear to see by the £50 DPS inspection as uncovered but no advice at all was provided about resolving this.
Unknown to us my daughter's partner had contacted DPS two weeks earlier who told him they never quote for woodworm alone and a damp survey would also be necessary.
This survey cost he was told would be £750 so my daughter stopped him from agreeing!
DPS claim this would have been a written report which would account for the cost but it was not what was asked for.
We have no written evidence it was DPS my daughter's partner had contacted earlier but they are adamant that it was the very same company.
We confirmed to Trustpilot when DPS wanted to have our review removed that the company definitely was Damp Proof Solutions as we have a bank transfer to DPS recorded on our bank account.
I feel more aggrieved that the company tried to have our honest review removed as I had relied heavily on their very positive accolades, to decide to pay for their survey.
To try and demean a different accredited company is also a poor response in our opinion.
DPS has not clarified anything and I would not recommend using them.

We had a recurring penetrative damp problem in 2 rooms upstairs and downstairs on 3 walls. The whole job took 3 days as promised at the survey. Very professional finish and we are in no doubt the problem has been cured.

A very neat and tidy job completed and employee took extra care to ensure everywhere was cleaned up and tidy especially with plaster dust that was inevitable walked on the driveway. Couldn’t ask for more.

This was a large 3 day damp job to the side and corner front wall of my 93 year old Dad's 1930's house in Coventry.

We have one house wall that is partially below soil level and the old vertial dampcourse was failing and needed completely redoing.
I did think the quote was very expensive but decided to go ahead and I have to say we were delighted with the standard of work. The team Lee and Ethan did a great job, were a pleasure to have working in our home and did a thorough clean up afterwards, all during a heatwave.

We recently had Damp Proofing Solutions carry out damp treatment in our home, and we couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. The guys who completed the work, Ben and Al, were absolutely fantastic. They were punctual, respectful, and worked incredibly hard throughout. The care they took for their work and in our home, both in protecting the space and making sure everything was left clean and tidy was really appreciated. They also spotted a potential cause (a slow leaking pipe) and took the time to speak to the plumber I called for a quote. They kept me informed as the damp work progressed, answered all my questions, and were just genuinely great people to have around.

Your comments still constitute defamation of character: I made no attempts to "coerce you into financial settlements".

You offered me a discounted final price and even asked whether if you gave me that discount, would I remove the negative reviews.

At no point did I claim the work was substandard.

Regarding your "evidence" of the damage (that you know you did to my property, again – I never claimed it was intentional damage, but you immediately refused to accept any responsibility and essentially accused me of lying from the outset) already being there, I have given you multiple opportunities to share that with me, and you have not.

It is unacceptable and deeply troubling that you believe it's appropriate to bully, gaslight, and attempt to damage the reputation of a customer.

I had to ask multiple times for your formal complaints procedure, and all I got after multiple asks was to find it on your website.

Sadly the work done has been massively undermined by damage done to my property, which the company failed to acknowledge or take responsibility for. The very good sales pitch oversells what state the place will be left in, and the customer service when trying to deal with all of this is shocking to say the least. I’m sure the work itself is good, but I shouldn’t be left with damage, a much bigger mess than I was promised, sockets hanging out (when I specifically checked if these would go back in) and incredibly disrespectful customer service. This is not a cheap company, and I would expect them to follow through on promises and treat customers’ homes with respect. As a result I would not recommend this company at all.

If you’re looking for a company who are honest and respectful, and competitive, look no further! I found Graham was extremely helpful, even advising on the issue I had with no charge initially.
I would highly recommend them.

The initial phone contact with the company was helpful and professional. The property surveyor explained exactly what he was doing, how he reached his conclusions and the exact cost of the work. The team arrived punctually,explained how long the job would take and kept to their schedule. The worked efficiently and the result was of a high standard. They were friendly and polite. They took away all the rubbish and cleaned up after them. I
