Great service from these guys, really good deal on used van, so good I drove 450miles to buy from these guys, Lew was great from start to finish, no pressure sales, sending videos of the van with honest appraisal. Will be buying from them again soon

Enquired about a Berlingo for sale and had a berlingo to PX. Got offered and finalised a price, and was told if I commit to the sale that day I could have it. So drove up to see it that day (Monday) and put down a deposit. Friday I was called to say it was ready to be picked up and needed to be paid for. An hour later was called again and told they made a mistake on the price and that I needed to fund an extra £850. I was at my absolute limit so could not pay a penny more. The sell fell through. A van that had been ply lined (which I was paying for) and painted for the sale was now back on the market because a business advertising itself as a multi million pound company wouldn’t correct their own mistake and take the loss of £850 which in the big scale of things is peanuts. Lost a customer, lost a sell and defiantly not recommending them in the future. The cherry on top of the cake was the Van was back online, listed with new pictures before I even had my deposit back. If I hadn’t have chased this up at 4.50pm when they closed at 5pm it would have been kept in their account for a few extra days over the weekend.

I had my car repaired today at Spears cars. Excellent service, paid below the estimate cost originally given to me. Owner covered cost of my getting home after dropping off my car and also sent a car to pick me up to collect. This was very helpful and I will without doubt return to them should I need my car fixed again. I highly recommend them.

We highly recommend you check any used vehicles paperwork for previous damage repair these vehicles are being sold with warranty but that's a flat out lie most of there used vehicles have damage repair that's not mentioned in the adverts this is then hidden from the customer the workshop puts screws through the body work invalidating the ford warranty be careful. NOT A MAIN DEALER.

I purchased a Hilux from David Spear in May 2018, I live 400 miles away and the video and all other information supplied by Lewis at David Spear was enough to convince me that it was the truck for me. The truck was exactly as described and the process of purchasing and collecting it was very smooth and straight forward. The staff were all very friendly and there was no hard sell for ridiculous unnecessary products like other dealers. I highly recommend David Spear and wish that other vehicle buying experiences were so straight forward and stress free like this was. Highly recommended.
