The watch we'd chosen for our son's 40th wasn't available in the Fareham shop, but the lovely Karen phoned 2 other branches to source it. Staff in the Ross-on-Wye shop very kindly dispatched the watc... See more

Be aware they are tricksy to work with and offer very poor customer experience and service. They are not honest with customers and if you try and resolve issues this becomes even more challenging. There is some lovely jewellery but there are much better places to buy it. In 2024 to act like the customer is not important means you loose them for life and end up with reviews like all of the others on here. There is a good reason why the reviews are so poor! Be aware and don’t make the same mistake I made. One of the staff members in all fairness was lovely and tried her best to sort but was unable to because she was told not to. I would like to say thank you to her but to the company - you have lost me and my family from every buying from you again and to be honest will tell anyone who asks and even those who don’t not to shop with you. Such a shame as this could easily have been fixed!
Wouldn’t even give them a 1 star
I ordered a Swarovski Disney 100 set about 4 months ago, put a £50 deposit and basically being ignored by the company I have sent email after email. Rang them and still nothing
It is unacceptable and I will never be ordering from them again
Poor service, staff very dismissive and quite frankly stuck up!
Visited the Nailsea branch with some scrap gold on a Friday after the member of staff looked at it she advised she could book it in to be tested in Tuesday. 5 days away when I said it was too long she actually said “sorry can’t help you then” and walked away leaving me to pick up the gold from the counter myself and package it away again
Personally I would advise go elsewhere
I would avoid David Christopher Jewellers in Chippenham for getting jewellery valued, they will over promise and under deliver. When they say up to a week to get a ring returned, expect it to be much more than that, and the staff to be rude when you ask why this is the case. I would take it elsewhere.
DC jewellers have always been courteous lovely to deal with.
repairs are always spot on!
great jewellers :)

Item arrived damaged start of December. Still no reply to emails. Avoid!!
I ordered 4 Pandora items on boxing day, after placing the order I decided to order a further 2 items.
On 4th January the second order arrived, I was not overly concerned about this and waited a further 2 days before requesting tracking on the 1st order.
I received no response on my message for 2 working days by which time a birthday had arrived and I really needed to know where the parcel was.
Eventually after getting through to the correct person on the phone they told me that both packages had been delivered under the same tracking code. I told them that this was NOT possible as it was a very small package received.
I managed to get a manager on the online chat who seemed to confirm the same and after a stressful 1hr+ of getting my cctv images of the postal delivery to confirm the parcel size I finally got an email to say that the 1st order was out of stock and could not and would not be fulfilled and I would get a refund.
The at least 2 of the items ordered are out of stock everywhere now, very very disappointed and had to give a bracelet with no charm and have a charm (Harry Potter house) not relevant for that recipient.
It has been over 24hrs and no refund as of yet.
Terrible service would not use again.
My wife wanted a Citizen watch and it was cheaper from David Christopher Jewellery. I ordered, paid special delivery and it arrived as advised. Service was excellent, delivery was good, price was good and best of all my wife loves the watch. Oh and the chocolates are nice too.
I recently wanted to purchase a swaskovski Angelic Jewellery set.
However, when I was searching the internet .. all the websites that sold it (including Swaskovski) didn't accurately list what was in the box (three items).
I then came across David Christopher who accurately listed what was in the box (peace of mind) and promised next day delivery.
As promised the jewellery came next day via royal mail special delivery.
To my delight there was complimentary chocolates included in the package.
Would totally recommend this company for attention to detail and a thoroughly professional service
Pleased with the product and speedy delivery however not happy with paying £2.50 for the gift wrap. It looked like a child had wrapped it, cheap gift wrap with no bow. A total waste of money. Don’t bother with the gift wrap guys! Order number 458673
Absolutely 1st class service. Ordered Sunday, delivered on Tuesday. Customer service easy to speak to. Would definitely buy from them again. They had Pandora jewellery I couldn't find anywhere else. Thank you
Dishonest and not trustworthy. Ordered gift wrapped £600 gold watch as a birthday gift. Luckily prior to gifting I decided to double check only to discover they’ve send me pre-owned and faulty item! The clasp wouldn’t close at all while the warranty leaflet had broken corner. Poor customer service too who stopped corresponce suddenly. I opted for full refund and payed over £7 for special delivery to provide quick and safe return. According to Consumer Rights the seller pays for return postage if item was damaged or faulty but not in my case. They didn’t refund me a penny which is breaching my statutory rights. Very disappointing. AVOID.
AVOID! When you want to return the order they don’t answer email.
Absolutely rubbish company!!!
What a lovely shop took my pandora necklace in to get a new chain. The assistant said let me clean it first. She did and it came back sparkly. The staff are so friendly we ended spending money well my husband did !!! When we got home the online delivery arrived a pandora bracelet it was too small phoned this shop and they exchanged it for us. 1st class service during this difficult time
Oswin and co. Jewellers in HEREFORD have just telephoned to tell me they have LOST my ENGAGEMENT RING when it was in for repair. Apparently it arrived at their head office and then just vanished??? How does a jeweller lose an engagement ring in their head office?? Store manager completely unsympathetic and just wanted to know if we still had the receipt!! After 20 years! Avoid these people like the plague.
