We wanted our people to think of us immediately and choose us as their best option for boiler repairs or installations. The company's name came from the founder and the secretary's children, Darren and Dylan. We started our spare box room inside our family home. The boys were on the floor, under the table, as their mum was working 7 am till 9 pm daily to earn the loyalty and trust we are renowned for. All this while Darren, the dad, was alone on the road, delivering the results and creating the relationships with our customers we still have today. From strength to strength In 2008, we decided to form DD Wilson Sole Traders with a vision that one day, the boys would be able to help Dad and keep the business with our family for centuries to come. In 2018, we formed DDwilson Gas Engineers Ltd and moved into our Big Unit in Knowsley Industrial Park, where we now take on 12 full-time staff, including a gas apprentice and admin apprentice. We're as accurate and as genuine as they come. Regulars always ask how the kids and dogs are doing, as they are forever with us. If they are not in school, they are undoubtedly in our friendly office or the van with Dad occasionally, meeting the customers and earning their pocket money. Quoted over £400 to fit 2 spare parts, when they came to fit the parts,another issue was spotted,that meant the boiler was beyond economic repair,so basically £400 down the pan,had a quote for a new boiler from them, which i did not go ahead with, i chose to buy elsewhere.

New boiler
Needed new boiler and had several quotes. Darren from DD Wilson was open and honest. The guys who did the work, Ant, Brian and Tommy were all polite, friendly and really hard working. Talked us through everything and were really clean and tidy. The only problem was the previous installation, badly done piping and they sorted this out aswell. Can't recommend highly enough

Was quoted a competitive price for a new combi boiler installation, when I accepted the quote , I was given a instillation date in a couple of days time, the gas fitter came on time and worked hard all day , the old boiler was taken out of the cupboard it was in and the new one fitted in , the mess was cleaned up and the cupboard put back together around the new boiler, all the radiators were checked to see if they were working properly, a good job all round

Had a new boiler fitted today
Had a new boiler fitted today. Keith did an excellent job. We had glass splasback and thought it would need romving to get to tge pipes which would have cost us more money and we had not had them fitted that long. Keith managed to sort it out without splashbacks having to be moved and no damage. We also have had new radiators fitted and a service done. Excellent staff and manager would definitely recommed.

Great service received. I called on the Wednesday evening for someone to come and have a look at an issue with my boiler, someone arrived at 10am on Thursday morning assessed the problem, clearly explaining the issue to me and giving me a few options of solutions to consider, after deciding to go with a new boiler I called up Friday morning to order my boiler and schedule an installation date, they said they could fit me in on Saturday. Someone arrived at 7am Saturday morning, and installed my new boiler, finishing around 3.30pm, clean, polite and friendly. Very happy with the overall service and experience provided, will definitely be using them again. Thank you.

Daughter and partner recently moved into their 1st home which had a very dated central heating system in, called Darren who came out to give us a quote for a new full system (combi, radiators and pipe work) explained everything fully and went through everything, no pushy sales talk, liked his work ethic and he also came recommended by friends. Told us he could start work couple of days later and he even arranged for engineer to come out and remove old radiators so we could paint behind and fill any holes etc… before work commenced, Engineers Stu and Sean?? turned up when expected and were really professional and very helpful throughout the installation, they even said to ring when the room had been decorated and they will come back to box pipework in. The engineers spoke highly of Darren and had a lot of respect for him which I think is great and obviously shows in the company’s success, would definitely recommend this company

Super fast and excellent service
My mums boiler could not be fixed due to obsolete parts so once we were told by Corgi I rang Darren who I’ve used before to install
My boiler 3 years ago. I rang him at 4.45 and he was able to get Anthony his engineer out to install at 8am next day and job was completed by 3.30 and mum now has heating and hot water again. Excellent service and great price thanks again Darren and his team

Very good service, highly recommended
Very happy with the service we have received from the first contact with Darren the owner, through Jo in the office,to both of the gas safety engineers. All our questions have been answered straight away and in full details. The installation of the boiler took only 3 hours and the engineer has left the place spotless, they even have their own hoover.

Amazing team
My old back-boiler gave up and i needed heat and hot water asap . From the office staff who got the ball rolling immediatly to darren (boss) and tristan who surveyed the job to the amazing paul who came to do the complicated install what a team they are . Paul deserves special recognition as he worked very hard continuously and found unique ways to deal with many issues that arose .

Very helpful and quick quality installation
Came out to us to check our old boiler at 7pm due to constant loss of pressure was deemed dangerous (installed by previous house owner looks like on the dodge) and had to be condemned, due a new one anyway and was installed by 2pm the next day, good correspondence from the owner Darren who was helpful through the whole process. Would highly recommend this company very professional. 👍🏼
