The company's name came from the founder and the secretary's children, Darren and Dylan. We started our spare box room inside our family home. The boys were on the floor, under the table, as their mum was working 7 am till 9 pm daily to earn the loyalty and trust we are renowned for. All this while Darren, the dad, was alone on the road, delivering the results and creating the relationships with our customers we still have today. From strength to strength In 2008, we decided to form DD Wilson Sole Traders with a vision that one day, the boys would be able to help Dad and keep the business with our family for centuries to come. In 2018, we formed DDwilson Gas Engineers Ltd and moved into our Big Unit in Knowsley Industrial Park, where we now take on 12 full-time staff, including a gas apprentice and admin apprentice. We're as accurate and as genuine as they come. Regulars always ask how the kids and dogs are doing, as they are forever with us. If they are not in school, they are undoubtedly in our friendly office or the van with Dad occasionally, meeting the customers and earning their pocket money. The most reliable service I've ever received!
This company was a life saver right from the beginning! Me and my boyfriend had recently moved into our property, found out not long after that our boiler hadn't been serviced in a long, long time and it was at risk to the house. Frantically looking around for someone to install a new boiler quickly, we came across DD Wilson. Not only did he explain things thoroughly, the quote he provided was reasonably priced (given that we just spent thousands buying our very first house and we didn't really know what we were doing) and he was able to get it installed a couple of days later. To top it off, he's given us yet another reasonably priced quote to fix the water leak that went along with the boiler issues, and he's removing and replacing our radiators! Couldn't have asked for a better service - and the admin team were extremely helpful!

Excellent all round from office staff to engineer.
Originally called out for a faulty boiler which was repaired speedily.A few months later they replaced four radiators for me and last week they replaced my old boiler with a new one.
Best price from quotes received and engineer both efficient and reliable. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Having numerous amounts of problems with my boiler , I thought it was time to get an upgrade
Also the cost for the tenant was mounting up each month..as it was a boiler of over 30 years old and no longer efficient..

Brilliant
Brilliant. Got a new bathroom suite fitted with 5 days from phoning for a quote to installation. Very happy with the service from DD Wilson and not just with the installation itself. Totally professional job but it was the personal service from the whole team that really impressed me. Darren was on hand all the time asking how things were going and was there anything we weren't happy with. The Plumber was really friendly and hoovered up after himself and girls in the office really made such an effort to make sure we were happy with everything. Genuine and totally trustworthy people. Highly recommend

Top Quality new boiler fitted.
DD WILSON came out to us on short notice. They were very accommodating after we had just had a new bathroom fitted. They kept the area very clean and they removed our old boiler with no fuss. They flushed our radiators and installed our new top quality Vailant boiler. The engineer then took the time to go through all of the new settings and explained everything we needed to know. I would definitely recommend DD WILSON.

10/10 full boiler and heating installation system
Well what i can say from the start recommended by a good friend darren & his team was brilliant - darren come out and explained in full specific detail what we wanted as it was our first property as first time buyers and it being a house built in 1956 and not being touched since the 60s what we would need.
Darren explained in full detail how and what materials they would use.
How long it would take.
Full specifics and when he could get his team in to do the job
Keith and gibbo come and was really polite to me and my partner, answered all our questions as we was having a full boiler system relocated into our understairs electric cupboard, full pipework and all brand new radiators through out the property aswell as capping the fireplace and old boiler for us.
We was having the best central heating and boiler system installed.
Both keith and gibbo was really clean putting plastic all over the property to protect the floors, cleaned up and ensured all mess was cleaned up.
4 days it took to complete all of the work and alls i can say is WOW it was absolute spot on.
We received full certification for the boiler and all guarentee’s.
Darren and his team have been nothing but the best and deserve the title of best in the country hands down.
