Was able to just walk in with the bike we brought a month previous. The new bike check was done and brake pads replaced which I had to pay for as the others had worn down in a month due to the bike being ridden often.

Faulty inline skates! I bought my daughter new inline skates for her birthday, she had them for a week and one of the wheels came loose and fell off, causing her to fall and injure herself. I can’t get hold of anyone at Decathlon to speak to, although they’ve advised me to return the boots via email. I would like to have shipping label and packing materials provided. There’s no phone number and I’ve been waiting for an hour on WhatsApp to be connected to an agent.

Awful customer service. I bought dumbbells with a stand and the stand is the wrong size. They argued with me that this isn’t defective and then advised they would send a replacement but a month later and still nothing. They are trying to pass the responsibility because it is a third party seller.

Buy back offer.
Completed the form for a bike under this scheme.
You are then told to turn up at the selected shop, no appointment time offered or needed apparently.
When we arrived we were told that no one was available to look at the bike for 4 days and we would have to leave it in the shop, then have to return to collect it if rejected.
I explained that we had travelled for an hour to get here and didn't want to make another trip. The bike was then looked at and rejected!
We were told it needed to be suitable for a 2 year warranty.
Why are decathlon not honest about this warranty policy and also why give an estimate of £600 to then reject the bike.
Very disappointed as a regular decathlon product purchaser. Beware everyone, this offer is not as it appears

Confused as to where I was actually ordering from to start with as so many ‘shops’ are now marketplaces. The order was with decathlon but the email confirmation/shipping details list second chance. I generally don’t like this type of setup but so few outlets for the product I wanted.
Delivery was estimated as a week or so, but it turned up two days later, on a Saturday at that. So that was good.
However, the order says I ordered black. What turned up was white. Seems there is no stock of black, so I will use the product supplied. Would expect that to have been better, maybe even an email explaining or giving the option to cancel.
So the negatives are inaccurate delivery date initially. Wrong colour supplied. Not supplied by decathlon but by a marketplace seller. To get the warranty I had to create an account, so will be unsubscribing to reduced the spam!
Update 14/4 - so as this is a market place product, it cannot be returned to store, different rules apply and TBH, CBA to go through the rigmarole of trying to sort out. The product isn’t great either. So will stick to going to the shops (except decathlon) for future purchases.

Absolute nightmare of a company. I ordered a ebike which had numerous faults when it arrived. I sent them video and pictures of the faults to prove that the bike was unrideable. Decatlon wanted nothing to do with the bike saying it was ordered through a 3rd party they use and were very evasive. I eventually got my money back through disputing my credit card payment by the faulty goods facility. I will never deal with Decathlon again and wouldn't recommend them to anyone

Excellent value sports equipment, but sometimes returns process can be tricky if the items you buy are from Decathlon market place rather than direct. Never the less Decathlon supported me well through this process.
