We'd read good things about this 'new' restaurant and so were determined to try it out next time we holidayed in Aviemore. We weren't disappointed. Firstly, we rang ahead to reserve a lunchtime table for two. The phone was answered promptly and the table booked. The place is nicely decorated and furnished. Service was friendly and efficient and the food a cut above the rest. We shared two "small plate", Mexican-themed courses (pan-fried cod on bean ragout and vegetable chilli with extra homemade tachos and guacamole on the side) which were both tasty and refreshingly different. For afters we had candied pears and very special chocolate torte, both of which came with the nicest sorbets we'd ever had. Can't wait to go back!
