Months upon months of either no…

Months upon months of either no feedback, delays, poor communication or rework. This process has cost me so much and I am on the verge of giving up.

My interactions with the Irish Dental Council, and specifically Dearlyn who is a "senior case worker", has been nothing short of draining, frustrating and senseless. I have tried calling, emailing, posting documents and even an in person meeting. Yet we are still at the first stage of the process "documentation collection". This, after 4 months ago having originally sent through the required documents.

On one occasion when I did receive some communication- Dearlyn asked me to resend "originals" which I have to request from my university with international courier fees being applied. ALL because she took months to go through my documents and now the originals I did hand in were outdated.
I have even received emails from Dearlyn asking for documents that I already sent. I don't think she goes through the documents correctly, or at the very least, the council doesn't have a process that is helping case workers to manage the work. Either way, all I see and experience is incompetence.

I was surprised to not find the Irish Dental Council on Trust Pilot, because a quick search through REDIT and you will find multiple professionals having the same experience. One thread is trying to even get a lawsuit put together.

I truly hope they (Irish Dental Council and Dearlyn) see how they place enormous strain, financial and emotional on people trying to come into Ireland to help. EVERYONE says they can't get a booking at a dentist office, well here is the hold up for why professionals aren't coming in and helping.
