Scam. Will take your money but never produce anything. Two months later still waiting for my order. No communication even after repeated complaints.

An order was placed for a sign on the 1st September 2022. After nearly a month and after the company was contacted by email, a notice of postage was received, but delivery was nearly three weeks!
On arrival the slate sign (which was very well packaged) was inspected and the two holes for attaching the sign to a wall had been drilled out of alignment by half a cm.
A further email with pictures was sent. A return email offering apologises and a replacement sign by the company. Within a week a new sign was dispatched and has been received.
I have rated the review four, mainly because to lack of communication before hand (although I now understand there had been illness issues).
The communication after was excellent and the replacement sign was to the standard expected.

Product never arrived after 5 weeks despite them constantly assuring me they were sending out replacements. Scam site. They did give me a refund eventually though.

The item I received took 2 months to arrive and when it did arrive it was a vinyl on the slate, it wasn't engraved like others I have bought before. Would not use again

The slate is more like a parallelogram than a rectangle and the text is also squint. Very disappointed as this took over a month to be delivered. Obviously no quality control.

Quoted 10 day delivery date, tried emailing after it didn't arrive, got no reply, then tried calling and the phone just rings, turned up after a month, disgraceful non existant service and poor value for money product.

We took our time in designing our house sign and decided on number and road name. A very easy process.
It was delivered promptly and the
resulting granite sign is just gorgeous. It was very reasonably priced for such a high quality product too.

Straight forward enough service and website very easy to use with good ability to try lots of different versions. However, very expensive for what is basically a piece of perspex with some printing. My friend bought something similar but it came with a back light and was cheaper.

Our house sign was dispatched on 12 September but we have still not received it. We have queried it with the company and were told yesterday it has definitely been dispatched but it’s probably delayed due to postal strikes. However other 2nd class items haven’t taken over two weeks to arrive. Company haven’t offered to investigate or follow up to see if we receive it so not sure how good their customer service is unless something positive happens following this review. At the moment we can only rate our experience as 1 ⭐️ . Happy to change it if our experience improves 🤔.

Awful. Placed an order, after 2 weeks, i emailed for updates (never got a reply) I placed another order from another website, that sign came and went up. And after 3 months, I get a dispatch email from this website and just the other day the sign came with the post. Waste of money and time. Awful service.

Purchased a sign over a month ago using the website's very easy to use designer. That part went well but after waiting for several weeks, I didn't receive an email confirming dispatch. I contacted the customer support who informed me it had been dispatched and Royal Mail were experiencing delays. A week or so later, I received a dispatch notification, meaning they had not dispatched it when they said they did. Another week went by with no sign and I was about to request a refund when it finally showed. Customer service was somewhat speedy to respond but it was like getting blood out of a stone to confirm the state of my order and what had happened. The sign is really nice but the delivery time and lack of customer support initiative resulted in the three stars. They did refund for the postage but unless you're willing to wait far longer than the advertised 10 days and chase their support team, I wouldn't recommend.

After a nervous wait for the sign which I designed as a house warming present it arrived in good condition and I am very pleased with it. My friends were delighted with it.

The product was exactly as I’d ordered, and very happy with the quality and delivery of the product.

Where do I start.. Yes the website is good which sets you up with high hopes but also wish I had read the reviews.

Placed the order on the 29th August, ordering only stated 2nd class postage, nothing about 2 week dispatch time frame.... Then when I don't hear anything for over a week I have to email to ask to be told it will be dispatched on the 12th of September. The website within FAQ and their terms and conditions states 10 business days dispatch then to give them 15 days from dispatch for it to arrive, they are not open during the order process of these timescales and yet are you to attest to their terms and conditions so be wary if rasing a dispute you will need to allow these time frames.

I then get a email to say is dispatched on the 14th.. Still not with me at 25th of September. I emailed them and got the most cheeky response of this is the dispatch time frame I asked for?

I edited this as I have now recived I it... In October. I can't deny the quality is good and is etched so I do like what has arrived but I think they are not honest about their dispatch times.

It's a shame, if I knew it was going to take this long i wouldn't be so annoyed, if they have a lot of orders then I would fully understand, cheeky and seem to be racking up a fair bit of unhappy customers on this so maybe just be more transparent? Over a month from ordering with no updates and lack of communication and then being cheeky to me means that has me never using them again in the future.

Placed an order with this company over 5wks ago and have received nothing but excuses as to why the door sign has not arrived. Blamed it on staff who were going to get written warnings for not sending it. They are now just ignoring all communication with me. I am in the process of taking them to the "Small claims" to try and get my money back. This has never happened to me ever when buying online, this company should be ashamed of themselves.

Ordered a house sign on the 21st August. Money taken straight away and advised the sign would be despatched on or before 2nd September. Paid for tracked delivery. Nothing arrived so chased them on the 6th. Was told they'd put another one in production for me (not sure why they couldn't track the parcel I'd paid extra to have tracked). Still nothing on the 12th so chased again. Was told they were in the process of writing written warnings to their staff about this issue. Was told I'd have it by the end of the week. Still nothing. It's like pulling teeth. Trust me, buy from somewhere else - their Website looks great, the reality is somewhat different.

Really poor service (four weeks to make and deliver a small sign with one word on), they don't interact - don't answer emails and the sign - when it eventually turned up was very disappointing. The description said "etched" but it was just printed on slate so it will probably just wash off. I offered them the chance to respond before I gave a negative review, but once again they wouldn't engage. If I could, I'd give them zero stars

Lovely sign and excellent customer service. When there was a problem with delivery, I contact Design a House Sign and they sorted it out straightaway.

Excellent quality slate and finish. Customer service is also fantastic. Quite a slow turnaround time though.

I regret that my experience of your service was quite disappointing. Despite paying for my order by PayPal on its placement it was refused for non-payment. I was not informed of this but discovered only after asking why there was a delay in delivery. The order was eventually processed after I had provided proof of payment. However on delivery I found an error in the sign and have had to reorder it.
