Sign OK, slow service.
Had to chase them to get a delivery date.
The sign did not turn up.
Chased again.
Delivery 1 week later.
Overall took 4 weeks for a simple two number sign.

Sign is just what I wanted. First sign never arrived but after I made contact a replacement was dispatched very quickly, now proudly displayed outside my front door.

Paid over £50 for a bespoke plexiglass size and £19 for their 48 hour production and dispatch option.
Over 18 days later it turned up and it looked like someone in year 7 had done it as part of their school project.
Big crack in one corner and all the edges looked like they had been cut using a hacksaw. Chipped and not ven straight. Unreal how they could let it leave like that.

The slate house sign I ordered from 'Design a House Sign' online was promised with a delivery date 2 weeks (or earlier) from the date of ordering. Postage (£4.99) was charged in addition to the item cost (£34.99). When it had still not arrived a day following the last promised date, I decided to contact the company, only to discover there was no contact phone number on their web page. Searching the internet produced 2 phone numbers but no one picked up on either, so after several attempts I resorted to sending an email. In their reply, I was told it had been despatched but when I requested a tracking number I was told it was sent Royal Mail 2nd Class without tracking. After several more days, by now imagining it had gone astray, I emailed a formal complaint requesting a refund. This was not answered for some more days and even then just reiterated that it had been sent. Finally, 8 days after the promised date, I received a standard notification from the company saying it had been dispatched that same day! On receipt, I found the packaging to be flimsy for a fragile item. The quality of the product was reasonable, even though the mounting holes were not precisely central and had been drilled without back support resulting in break away chips on the reverse. Hardly professional! All in all a lot of hassle for a product that was not cheap in the first place. This company really needs to improve its offering at all levels.

The website was fun to use and we came up with a great design.
Delivery was on time and the finished article looks super beside our new front door.

the sign came after two attempts (and some of the hateful rubbishing around when you're lied about... with the claim that it got sent but we're making one more for you, sir... - really? in 2022...?).

eventually, all as expected.

yet, from the initial groupon offer we went through to to the final article we purchased, there's the obvious trick, which is another yet fault of the silly system we live-in - called capitalism...

Ordered a sign on 24th May 2022. They said it would be dispatched on or before 7th June 2022. I received no tracking number, no further details and definitely no sign as of 29th June 2022. Wish I read these reviews first. I am now going through PayPal to try and retrieve my money.

Hi im am disgusted the way i was treated order a sign nearly 4 weeks ago paid in full never got it tryed email the never reply dont make the same mistake i did the only reason they got a star i couldn't do the review without pressing one of them

Update I received my order on 1st July, although it was a long time to wait and customer services were not very helpful with providing an update, I am pleased with the product.
Order placed on 31 May, still not received the order even though it has nearly been a month since I placed my order. Customer service is unhelpful just saying that the order is marked as despatched on their side, they can not provide me with a date of when it was despatched, no estimated delivery date or no tracking number.

If I could give minus stars I would. This company is a scam, simple as that. Avoid at all costs.

Don't use this company. Wish I had read the trust pilot reviews and not just the reviews on their website. Sign has never arrived and no chance of getting through to the company via phone or email.

Website and ordering excellent. Product when it eventually arrived was perfect. The only issue, nobody ever answered phone or replied to emails when I chased when I would receive order as it was a month later than the dispatch date confirmed in arriving

I placed the order 113266 for a house number on 24th May, I have no sign and no reply to the emails chasing it. This company is a scam.

Placed an order on the 13th of May 2022. Have chased twice and am still yet to receive my order.

We are very pleased with our house sign with a very reasonable price tag.

Ordered sign on 8th May. Having not received sign by 24th May I contacted DaH by email and was told that sign had been dispatched and to wait 15 working days for arrival.
Received email on 8th June to say sign had now been dispatched !!!
Sign now received. It's a nice sign but service is terrible.

Order placed 13th May. Advised product had been dispatched 1st June, but it had not arrived (by 48 hour Post Office mail), by 9th June. Contacted Design company to investigate, and subsequently received the item on 13th June.
Felt that the product had not been dispatched on 1st June, but was consequently rushed through production after I contacted. Result was that the finish on the aluminium cut lines and face is poor, and one of the drill holes was not true.
Poor service, poor production and even worse communication - as no apology or refund received. Would take my trade elsewhere in future…….
Since writing this initial review - house sign installed, faded within a fortnight, not visible in sunlight, removed and replaced.

Very pleased with the sign delivery seemed a bit slow but down to courier

Ordered a sign on 4th May. Despatch promised on or before 18th May. This did not happen. After chasing by email (they do not have a telephone service) I received an email on 1st June promising it had now been despatched. Obviously it still has not arrived. I have now demanded a refund as I fear they are scammers. They have promised one today. I am not optimistic.

Very pleased with the service from start to finish. Easy to design the sign on the website. Many thanks.
