No correspondence after numerous e-mails & no sign has arrived ordered early May.

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered.

Ordered a sign in April, nothing has turned up. They are now ignoring my emails. Going to have to try and charge back my money through my bank.

Its a shame because I've ordered through them before and had no issues but clearly this business has been run into the ground since then.

The design site was really good and delivery pretty quick. The slate backing slab needed a bit of edge finishing...easy for me with a workshop.

The surface painted lettering looks just great...I hope it lasts well as I assumed it would be engraved!..should have read the small print!

Disgusting company.Ordered a small plaque for my grandson's present for starting college in Sept.After "Jamie" agreed to complete order,font and size.That was on 13th may 2022.Its is now 30th May 2022 and he has ignored all emails sent requesting an update.Dont bother trying to phone either,it never gets answered. Very interest that he has a company and vat number.Is that to give the impression of a legit company??...You can register a company from as little as £19.99

The sign took much longer to come than the confirmation email indicated. Several days after the sign should have been dispatched I contacted customer service who told me that the order had been dispatched. A week later they told me it had been delayed in the post because of the bank holiday, two weeks later I had an email stating that the order had been dispatched. Because of this lack of communication I feel cannot recommend them although the sign is fine and came well wrapped.

Bought 3 numbers. Disappointed that the "aluminium letters" were actually ACM, so predominantly plastic and very lightweight, and a bit rough around the edges. Looking back at the site it does fleetingly mention this, but not very prominently. Delivery times are appalling and communication virtually non-existent. They look decent on the house but overall vfm is poor for what you get.

Awful. Paid £120 for a granite sign over a month ago and other than the order confirmation email, I've had no communication at all. I've tried calling 5 times (no one answers) and emailed 4 times (no replies). No idea when or if my sign will turn up and judging by other people's reviews, if it does, it will probably be of poor quality. DO NOT USE.

Otherwise the sign is just what we ordered, great product and quality.

Our first order of granite house name plaques came, and some of the borders were skew-wiff, and one of the signs came with a very uneven cut on the top edge. The granite had suffered splintering/chipping.
They offered to redo that sign. A whole new batch of signs arrived several weeks later, but they were worse than the first set, the borders were even more out of plum. Our accounts also requested a VAT invoice which they refused to provide. I would not recommend using them. We certainly won't be ordering our next set of house signs from them.

Excellent product , delivery service slow !!

The sign itself is beautiful, very high quality. My only criticism is it was wrapped in packaging in an open ended cardboard roll and there was a small piece on the corner ,still in the packaging that had cracked off, fortunately it is on the back not the front. I do feel they should arrive in a full box to avoid this. Otherwise it is a great product.

Flexible design options, good website. Very pleased with the product, looks smart! Deliver took a little longer than we hoped, but well worth the wait. Easy to put up.

I was very disappointed with the service and product received by Design a House Sign. The product was not despatched when promised, there was no information provided around this and required several contacts from myself to chase it up. Eventually another order was despatched but when this arrived (almost 6wks after ordering) the slate sign was of very poor quality and more like a smooth wall tile rather than a textured natural slate, furthermore the sign was flawed and damaged. I have attempted to contact the company several times about this, in order to reach a satisfactory resolution but they are not responding to my emails or calls. Very disappointing product and customer service. I will be taking this matter to trading standards.

Sign never turned up, emailed the company I bought through and was told they do not trade anymore. Had to go through PayPal to get my money back. Do not use

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering.
Ordered my sign on the 27th March and after many chases and a made up story that the sign may have been lost in the past, the sign arrived without the holes to install. I am still waiting for the replacement to arrive and have now given up, and asked for my money back. I will certainly be checking reviews from now on.

Like so many other reviewers my sign has not arrived and all I get is a standard email saying you have to wait 15 days after due delivery date. Well it still didn't arrived after waiting 15days so I sent another email and got the same standard email back. I believe the sign will never arrive and have asked my bank to retrive my money from the awful company.

I placed an order on 16th March and still don’t have my sign! I never thought ordering a simple sign online would cause so much hassle!! Several emails chasing, no postage tracking details ever received after advised they would be sent etc etc, it goes on and on!! I’ve now requested a refund as 6 weeks on and still no sign! Appalling service.

Ordered my granite sign 12/3/22 and was due by 25/3/22. Emailed and messaged there was no sign 15/4/22 and it finally arrived. It was roughly cut on three sides and the fourth side was awful, the front top part looked like it had been accidentally planted along half the edge. I wrote to Design a house with photos to let them make good but nothing. I would not buy from them again.

Very smart looking,quality slate sign,great that you can choose layout,font and font size,very pleased with product and price,website easy to use and sign arrived promptly...would recommend.

Stay well clear of this company,ordered a sign that was never delivered over 3 weeks after placing order then was offered a refund after shocking customer service responses but yep you guest it that never turned up either so now trying to get a refund but not holding my breath so going through pay pal,this is a scam company taking peoples hard earn money and delivering no good in return,please stay well clear
