The Sad Fall of a Once Great Company
This company's t-shirt and design application quality has gone from great to awful in just a few years. My last 2 orders have arrived with poorly applied designs done with cheap thick image materials. My last order arrived wet, yes wet, with red ink all over the top shirt in the stack.
Wrong Size and no customer service response
Ordered 5 t-shirts, all in small. One of them was a 3XL??
Followed the guidelines online to receive a replacement and haven't heard any response for 14 days.
In 2020 Pretty appalling offering and customer service. Back 10 years ago they used to have a great offering and customer service.

Can't enforce their own rules. Site is crawling with art theft but if you upload parody art you made yourself or original art of your own IPs you get hit with false copyright strikes they don't equally enforce. Dealt with getting no money off my sticker sales despite this company selling my original art on it. Customer service is garbage and can't reply to inquiries. At this point I'm just deleting my work because this company feels like a massive scam.
T-shirts for women not the same as men’s!
The quality of the T-shirts for women is terrible. They are described as perfect fit, so I assumed they would loosen up after washing. Reasonable assumption, as the shirt my husband received was decently comfortable. I am not sure why the women get such crappy quality, but multiple washes later, the shirts are still very stiff and uncomfortable, to the point that I can’t even wear them. My daughter’s shirt ripped the second time she wore it. There is no give or stretch, the shirts are cheaply made but sold for a price that should deliver quality, and the company did not honor my request for a refund. I will not purchase anything else from them, and advise other people looking for cool T-shirts to shop elsewhere.

Ordered two t-shirts that came with ink smeared from the design. Contacted customer service and get no response. I asked to get an exchange and they won't even honor that. Save your money and don't deal with such a dishonest company. Never again! Buyers beware..

From best to worst t-shirt company
From best to worst t-shirt company in under 2 years. What happened? I have bought over 30 t-shirts from them over the last decade and the fit, material and prints were flawless. The prints felt soft and perfectly integrated into the fabric. They lasted dozens wash cycles without fading or chipping
Out of my latest order, the print quality varied from OK to terrible . One shirt has an unacceptable print which is missing maybe 25% of the image for which DBH will send me a replacement. Another print that is supposed to be a pristine geometrical design has scratches and some very blurry edges. Overall, the prints look and feel cheap. They have that tacky feel to them which will obviously lead to crack and chipping after a few washes. This is not the even close to the quality of the shirts I bought in the past.
Design by Humans used to be special, now they are cheap t-shirts, but sold at premium price.
What is going on here? New management? Are they intentionally driving the brand to the ground by cutting quality and trying to make as much money as possible in the process?
Update: I got my replacement T-shirts...and the prints are even worst.

they basically don't have customer service. I placed an order a few weeks ago and want to return two of the t-shirts. Do not waste your money and time
No reply for 17 days and counting.
I bought 17 days ago. I messaged them immediately after ordering to confirm if I had bought the right size (as the order confirmation email doesn't show the size). Nobody replied to me and that was 17 days ago. So one week ago I messaged them again. Still no reply. No tracking number for the shipment. Just a load of spam trying to sell me more stuff. Do not recommend. They clearly don't care about their customers enough to reply within even a few days (even though their site says they reply within 1 to 4 days).

Do not buy from Designs by Humans. If you have any problems with your order, they will never help you. I wrote to them three times and nothing. Avoid!
Update: Designs by Humans finally emailed me that they are refunding me for the shirt that didn't fit. The refund was on my next credit card bill. I'm not sure that I would buy directly from them again but would maybe buy their designs on Amazon.
No wonder everybody shops on Amazon
I’ve been emailing and tweeting DBH for almost two months about the fact that one of the three t-shirts I ordered has never been delivered. Instead, the company sent two examples of the same design. This is not acceptable. These items aren’t cheap and I want the t-shirt I ordered or my money back. This lack of customer service is disgraceful - and all because I was trying to support a company other than Amazon.
Zero customer service
Zero customer service. If a shirt doesn't fit or isn't right, too bad, you're keeping it. You can email all you want to make a "return request" as described on their website, but you won't get a response. The product is expensive enough that one would hope for better (some?) support.

Customer service is nonexistent. I wanted to make a return....emailed three times..no response. My 60 day return window ends in four days. Never ever will I order from this company again. There’s a GOOD reason Amazon is winning in the retail industry....they CARE about their customer. Designbyassholes is a more appropriate name.
Non existent customer service.
So I raised a case to advise on an item that hadn’t been received. The only way is to email them. I sent that email on 30th June and I’ve just received a reply on the 5th August! It’s taken 36 days to get a reply and if I don’t reply to their email within 7 days they close the case?!

DO NOT ORDER - NO CUSTOMER SERVICE at all. This used to be my go to company for tee shirts - now the quality has changed and there is literally no customer service. One shirt I ordered is damaged - there are green lines running through the design - and I CANNOT get a response from customer service. I am disputing the charge with my credit card company.

What sucks for DBH is that 3 of the 4 tshirts I received were great, it is when I tried to return a shirt that my issues developed. I emailed about 6 times, sent 2 facebook messages and tried calling. When I called, I was on hold and someone came back to the line and asked if I was calling for DBH or ???. The call line obviously supports more than one company. When I told them, they said thank you and NEVER came back on the line or said anything to let me know they were trying to resolve the issue. After 20+ minutes hold time I hung up and called back - no answer. I just got an emails saying "we haven't heard from you in a while", wanting me to order more shirts. I feel bad for the artists who are doing a great job, but due to poor customer service I won't be ordering again.

DBH has the worst customer service out…
DBH has the worst customer service out of any website i have ordered from. They have mis printed shirt graphics for me on big orders. Sent them multiple emails and get no response for returns.
Never got my shirt
Never got my shirt or a response from DBH despite of multiple attempts to resolve with DBH. Currently under dispute through PayPal. Do not order from this company. Once they have your money they don't care.
