Terrible and probably corrupt

Terrible and probably corrupt. I've been homeless over 2 years and still on band D. I had a heart attack a year ago but that doesn't matter to these people as I don't tick the diversity box. Yes I do have a little money saved for when/if I get a place but that's for deposit and essentials. Foreign families are the priority.

So far, so good!

I wrote a general enquiry to Devon Home Choice and received a friendly email, by return, inviting me to apply. When I had difficulties progressing the online form, I phoned and after a commendably short menu, received an instant response sorting out the obstacle. I was expecting to be in a very long queue! The form is approachable and does not bury itself in bureaucratic
detail. It will be interesting to review future developments.

I am currently registered with Devon…

I am currently registered with Devon home choice and have been for the last 2 years. I am band B homeless and during my whole time trying to get accommodation, they have discriminated against me by moving my bid position on numerous occasions for example I was number 1 of 148 bids for a property on a Monday and by Tuesday I was 71 of 148 so their was no further bids yet my position suddenly moved. The next point is on my account numerous properties show up as sensitive let's yet on other people's accounts those properties are not sensitive let's. Their are other instances to many to list here. I have spoken many times with them and they are disrespectful and do not wish to even discuss the matter properly. They've currently said I've been offered a property which I haven't and for the past 2 weeks I've been unable to bid because their system won't allow it, ive put numerous complaints in about this and yet again they don't respond. They are discriminatory, disrespectful, they lie when you challenge them.

I would happily give zero for this…

I would happily give zero for this corrupted bent organisation buisness that pretends to serve the People of Devon .they allow there landlords to advertise property's that has had fake image and information such as belongings to a old lady own8ng her home yet advertising it as a bungalow on social housing using the old lady's personal data to people bidding and being fooled is real when ita not happening . Also they change people's criteria and banding and bend the rules to house the peopel many times that they want or know to winn property's. The whole system and the next level is also bent and when you go to the ombudsman you see it's bent like every other public servants organisations all set up with people called ombudsman or financial conduct or icb s every one of these people are bent and the whole pyramid is of Satan set up to serve themselfs.my problem has gone on for years they don't abide by any armed forces covenant and has nothing in place to check out any false information being put on the bidding by the social housing landlords .so basically they print and advertise and make sick people's life's even sicker . They use receptionist to another there calls that multitasking all avenues even other areas of councils on the phone never allowing clients to speak to the actual officers . Making ypu wait for weeks on end if you submit evidence. There work load is far less except they work from home and sacked a load and put there councillors salary's and payments up .time for this system to crash and to renew all of it exposing and holding these criminals to account in courts

Devon Home Choice Discrimination

This organisation is part of Devon County Council, Their are supposed to help people get accommodation, when in truth they actively discriminate and marginalize the less fortunate within society. They allow those unfortunately to bid on available properties then they actively alter and change where they come on the list to cherry Pick who they want on thier properties. I myself have see and experienced this first hand upon placing a bid for a property I was 1/158 Bids in three days I went to 77/158.Their was no more Bids but my position was changed. I like alot of others are being discriminated against because of our pasts or that we may be homeless or even a combination of the two. This is completely wrong and I'm sure discrimination is illegal.
