The staff let us know they were there for us if we needed any help but were not too pushy or annoying. Matthew was very knowledgeable when we asked him questions and again wasn’t too pushy a sales man…theres nothing worse!

We had a really positive experience in store and the assistant, Michael Lord, who helped us was excellent from start to finish. He was friendly, approachable and very knowledgeable without being pushy at all. He took the time to answer all of our questions, talked us through the different sofa options and fabrics, and made the whole process feel easy and relaxed.
Customer service like this really makes a difference and it was refreshing to feel genuinely looked after rather than pressured into making a purchase. Thank you for all of your help, we’re really pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend the store to others.

Helpful & knowledgeable staff
Taz at the Elk Mill Oldham store was really helpful with helping us to find our new sofa. He helped us build the perfect bundle of sofas, cushions and rug for our new home. We were given enough space to go and try all the sofas but then plenty of guidance where needed once we had found the one we wanted.

Worst service ever
Delivery guys were not interested and not friendly. Delivery guys damaged my vinyl floor after being told it was vinyl and to be careful. He pushed the sofa with his knees and ripped a couple of holes in the flooring. Tried to hide the damage with sofa and when was shown damaged area just said contact DFS we are insured and left.
Sent DFS an email within 15 minutes of finding the damage and it took a couple of weeks to get a response back from them just to say it was being passed on to the delivery company. Then had to send the very same information to the delivery company who were claiming alleged damage. Two weeks have gone by and still no response from delivery company.
The customer service is appalling, unbelievably slow at best and not really concerned with resolving the problem. If I wasn’t calling them it would be months before they get back to you.
Quick to take your money but like molasses in winter when there’s a problem.

Absolutely amazing customer service
I came into DFS a number of times, debating which couch I wanted and Paul helped me out every single time and made sure I was confident enough and happy with my new couch, and changing and adding things to make it exactly how I wanted it.

Absolutely dreadful service - sofa delivery cancelled twice, when it arrived it is broken. Customer service is useless and keeps referring back to the store who don't call back. Hopefully this review might make them take action
