My thanks to DFS Furniture - Poole for their assistance in helping me through y recent furniture purchase. I found the experience most enjoyable, with the sales person (Frances) taking me through all the options available and looking up lead times for various products to ensure that I was able to make my choices with complete confidence. Well done.

Great service from Stephen and unpressured and positive experience

Salesman Damien was very polite and clear on all information with regards the sale and aftercare of my purchase. Damien was also very friendly and also very professional

The staff were excellent, not pushy and didn’t follow you around but very helpful when you wanted information.
The product range was great and the modular nature of the sofas enables you to tailor them to your own requirements.

Amazing salesman helped me choose my first new sofa in a long time.
Went out of his was to make sure I was happy and everything was right and explain all about all the after care.very excited to have a brand new sofa on order.
Only tiny little negative was all the other add ons that they try push you to have , felt a tiny bit bombarded.

The person that serve me made the process smooth, quick and seamless. Just the way I want shopping for furniture to be.

Very helpful and informative staff, even let us stay late to finish our order.

Frances dealt with my request for a new sofa. She was absolutely amazing, very articulate and helpful throughout. I never felt rushed or pushed to make a decision, it was like she genuinely wanted me to be happy with my choice. My order had to be adapted due to measurements recently, Frances helped through that process with confidence and the perfect blend of friendliness and professionalism. I am so excited about my future lounge, it is going to be stunning! Thank you Frances, also the rest of the DFS team, all so friendly and helpful.

Poor customer service - shop elsewhere!
We bought some very expensive home cinema seating from these people in January 2026, it was delivered broken believe it or not, we were promised it would be repaired quickly. Needless to say this was never carried out and it’s now July and we have today been told we have to wait several more weeks for parts to be sent and then several weeks more after that for someone to come and fit them. We’ve already waited months and I today mentioned making a formal written complaint on the phone to them and at that the phone line was very quickly cut dead, they’ve not called back so clearly this was intentional - they obviously think it’s ok to hang up on their customers should they dare to complain. We’re now intending to issue a written request for a full refund of the total we’ve paid them and return the goods to their store ourselves and if they don’t issue a full refund then it’ll be court action will follow swiftly. We feel very let down by DFS and the staff at Poole who just don’t seem to care at all, as soon as they have your money they then just wash their hands of you entirely, regardless of whether their products are faulty or not, very dissapointing, we expected more from a company that makes such bold claims about they’re customer service on their website - sadly this is far from the truth. If you read their Google reviews for the Poole store you’ll see that there are some very unhappy local people who’ve had similar experiences and been treated in a very shoddy and unprofessional manner, our customer ref was 47Z4J0329

Friendly staff, good customer services.

We were first served by David who was very welcoming and helpful in making sure his colleague knew we were going to purchase a sofa. Then we met Sebastian who couldn't have been more fantastic, very knowledgeable, clear and concise with the information making our whole process seamless.

Great, Helpful and Friendly Service

I had an idea what I wanted but a little unsure of the details . Lauren was really helpful and I am confident I have the right sofa bed/settee and armchair that I wanted . She was pleasant ; I didn’t feel hurried ,it was a good experience.

The gentleman we spoke to was very helpful and informative. He gave us various options to choose with both the sofas and the finance.

Julian the man that helped us with our purchase was no word of lie the best sales assistant ever. He was warm, helpful, very knowledgeable, and made the entire experience a great one.
