Customer service does not exist in America for this Company. If you have a package that goes lost you will get a generic email for five days in a row and then they will quit looking for it as if they ever started. They must have a sideline making money off of the good that they steal. Extremely disappointed is an understatement -150 stars would be what I would write them.

Unreliable and incompetent
If I could give '0' stars as a rating, I would. We used order a lot of items from the U.K. and have recently stopped because of DHL's consistently poor service, especially at their Cincinnati hub. Packages get lost there regularly during the 'customs clearance' phase. Reaching a competent human on the phone is difficult at best and when we have, the outcome has never been positive. We end up having to spend hours with the business (that sent the package via DHL) to get a refund for goods not received. We now refuse to order from any business that uses DHL.
Geographically blind company and worst costumer service.
My family sent a package from South East Asia to Dallas. It went through Hongkong - Cincinnati- Miami - Houston - Dallas. The package stop moving on the weekend. Once the package arrived in Dallas, they wanted me to update the address since now they said they can't send to PO BOX ( The DHL office in the sender city didn't say anything about sending to PO BOX)
I change the address to my home address and called the customer service asking if they could expedite the delivery. Since the package is already in Dallas. Instead of waiting another 3 days as they estimated. The DHL representative flat out denied my request without hearing my reason and blaming me for the problem with the address. It likes I was speaking to a poor trained employee who doesn't even conceal he hates his job. I asked to speak with his supervisor. He said his supervisor will call me back in 90 minutes. But they never called back.

I paid approximately $70 for delivery service from the Dominican Republic to NYC.. my package only contained a college journal of 30 pages, which I had to submit online since I’m enrolled virtually. It’s been 2 weeks now, and no package.. I missed my deadline to submit. Needless to say, when I called for my package, they had the audacity to tell me, my envelop is currently being held by customs. I asked why (since it’s only 30 pages) and they couldn’t explain, in fact, the customer service rep, stated my envelope was the only one in the freight that was stopped by customs (what an explanation).. package is still sitting in Cincinnati OH…New York has and excellent federal Custom warehouse to sort anything, why the hell is my package in Ohio eff this company… in addition, the representative states they don’t have a corporate number I can call, at least to her 7 year knowledge
The WORST shipper on the planet!
This shipper is without question the WORST ON THE PLANET! Never an on-time delivery. Lost packages. contact impossible. Things with this company could not be worse. And the same incompetent people continue to run a disgraceful horrible shipping company. I did not select this company to ship my item, the seller did. Sadly, I had no choice in selection of shipper, because had I a choice, DHL would not be used, EVER!

Consistently bad at doing their job which is to deliver packages. I have not choice when it comes to selecting my shipping carrier because among them DHL is the worst. Ranking :1-UPS 2-USPS 3-Fedex 4-DHL.
The new logic DHL is applying. It's best to wait until the deadline to deliver a parcel. Indeed, DHL is now withholding packages even if they are in your delivery area until the hit the arbitrary delivery date they have established when your parcel left origin. They will even deliver a day after that arbitrary date while they could deliver sooner. @DHL, delivering sooner is a good thing that customers like and prefer.

If I could give a negative rating i would, delivery is slow and NEVER on time, all you get is excuses...Customer service is HORRIBLE and combative, I mean WHAT Customer service person gets in a combative argument with the customer !!! I used to use DHL for importing shipments from Europe. Without exception, packages were delayed, tracking information was useless, and when you could talk to a person, they were not especially helpful.
I stopped using them, but some suppliers do, and the experience has been the same. They are appallingly bad. In the current instance duties were owed. That’s fine. I paid them, snd the customer service rep said the hold had been lifted and the package would be delivered the next business day. It wasn’t.
DHL delivered my package to WRONG…
DHL delivered my package to WRONG address. Upon inquiry I had to wait two weeks for their so-called retrieval of package before I could request refund or redelivery from the merchant. The residents repeatedly denied receipt of merchandise (of course) even though there was a signature for package. There was no reason for misdelivery except carelessness on the part of the driver for not paying attention to what they were doing and then not taking responsibility for the mistake. Will not use this service again and will always check with merchant as to which courier they use in the future. Very disappointed in the handling of this issue as it left me, the customer, hanging with the drawn out process of contacting the merchant, reporting the loss and waiting for the reimbursement after the merchant verifies information with DHL and I am out of the money and merchandise in the meantime and DHL refers to this process as their "resolution."
Absolutely pathetic
I would give zero stars if I could. They delivered my package to the wrong address, even took a picture of a door with the wrong number on it as the "proof" of delivery. I called them to open an investigation and they closed it the next day in their favor saying their GPS shows they were at the right address. I'm sure they passed my house on the way to the wrong house, doesn't mean they delivered to the right address. I then went through the seller and DHL told them they retrieved and delivered it to me (they didn't). Pathetic excuse for a delivery company. I'll never knowingly shop anywhere that uses them ever again.
USA Service is terrible
USA Service is terrible. Only use UPS or FedEx in the USA. DHL doesn't work on weekends, 'express' packages just sit around. Also, updating the address on the shipping app doesn't work either, they still delivered a very pricey 'signature required' package by dropping it at a vacant house on the doorstep without a signature. I cringe when I see someone used DHL to send me something. They should just roll up shop and leave USA delivery - stick to EU and Asia where they actually function.

I wish I saw these review sooner, now here I am angrily writing this review, be aware that when you send to the Caribbean, whoever you send it to will go through hell to get the package , you will have to pay taxes, again, and receiver will need to pay dhl again for service you already paid when you send it. They will give you the run around. Avoid this company like the virus. Stay away you have been warned.
Terrible Drivers And Even Worse Unhelpful Customer Service
Terrible shipping company. The delivery guy goes inside my building and can't find my apartment and supposedly tried to deliver twice. When I mean tried he tried to deliver to the wrong apartment either that or he just went in the building and back out. I saw him arrived to the front of my building. Is obvious he didn't come to my apartment since he didn't leave a notice on the door. And their customer service is even worse trying to make it look like I wasn't home when I've been waiting all morning. There should be an minus rating cause DHL deserves a -5 star. So basically their driver lied and customer service don't even care so if I get the package then it will be a day late. That's a big if. If you want to save yourself some headaches avoid them.

Wish I could leave ZERO STARS. How does this company function? Spoke to 4 different representatives about generating a quote to ship from Europe to the U.S., each time I was directed to their website where it's impossible to generate a quote without a business account or without paying upfront. Why would I pay upfront before I know the cost? When I called back for further assistance the representative listened to my issue then hung up on me. I then found a number for their "business clients" where I was greeted by a recording saying no one could take my call due to a meeting and to try back in an hour.

Can I give negative rating? This company does not even deserve zero stars. Non existent customer service. I wonder how they are still in business. The worst I have ever dealt with. I had to pay customs 150$ because of the fool at DHL who said they will take care of the package when they did absolutely nothing. I had to go through this stupid excuse for a delivery company again and have been trying to get in touch with an actual human being for the past five hours. Every single thing that works for the company is a fricking robot. I am so fed up I don't even want the package anymore. Stay away from this so called delivery service. The only thing they deliver is BS.

Honestly, a trash company at its finest. Customer service is terrible. You can’t find the phone number to the customer service line you want, they don’t respond to email inquiries even though they have forms, and they don’t resolve any issues. They just tell you to deal with it on your own with the vendor.
