Unreliable Delivery & Poor Customer Service

Negative to ZERO RATING. Terrible service. Lost my package. Delivered to the wrong state (Maine instead of California) even though address was noted correctly by merchant and customer. I waited at home for 3 days for a delivery that never arrived. Major inconvenience for customers. Every time I would call DHL, I was informed that driver was on his way. When I asked to speak to a Supervisor, I was told that I would receive a call within 90 minutes but NO CALL ever received. To this day, I still have not received the merchandise which is my dining room table. Horrible, unreliable delivery service and even worse customer support. DHL does not care about its customers!!!!!

China seems to like these guys

China seems to like these guys. But every time I get a package it is always after seemingly endless delays and screwups. They hold a shipment because it needs customs payments or "something" and NEVER let you know. Even after you find out (and can't reach a human by phone)...the online record is wrong and not updated. [I finally dealt with a human who had a problem with "is" and "isn't" pronunciation. She made the two sound the same!] The Germans have a reputation for efficiency. But Noooooooooooooo.
In fact the German Postal service AND delivery services have NEVER worked well. USE FEDEX. I will never use DHL. But on the positive side, in the last ten years they have risen from absolutely unusable, to merely incompetent.

DHL is the worst delivery company I've had the displeasure of dealing with. They never deliver my packages on time. I've have been forced to use this lame excuse for a delivery company only twice. Both times I was forced to use them the driver tried to steal my package. Then they try to deny it. I've watched the driver drive past my house then report they delivered my package or report I wasn't home. I will tell everyone I know and come in contact with to never use this absolute dumpster fire of a company ever for any reason.

Save yourself a lot it time and numerous phone calls and use FedX. They can’t seem to get an address correct and they tell you what you want to hear. They have lied to me since last Thursday June 10th and continue to do so. I will never use their service. I mean how many times do you have to tell them something. No one is educated enough to understand anything. Same yourself some problems. Use another service

Do not let anyone ship stuff to you through them

Everytime I get a package with DSL there is a problem. Its damaged, missing or shows up a week or 2. I have even had terrible problems with the drivers, I honestly had to ask a driver to leave because he was sitting idle in front of my house blasting heavy metal music and smoking a joint. I now have a package that has been at their facility for a month. They tell me that they have no idea why it's there and to call the o bought the items from to replace them..wow

$1800 in the HOLE!

Just got my order from China after 3 months and an added cost of $1800. No one to talk to. Each rep gives you a runaround to another. They were extremely disorganized & you will pay per day of storage until they decide to ship it to you. Never again!

Worst delivery company ever !!! Packages just sit for days at their facilities, no one knows what is going on with them. If you own a company, do not use DHL, and if you are ordering something from a company, make sure they are not sending it DHL.

This is by far the worst shipping company.

This is by far the worst shipping company I have ever dealt with. They were supposed to pick up my packages by 2:00 and never showed. I tried calling customer service and after waiting 45 min. to talk to someone they tell me that they have no way to reach the driver to find out when & if he is coming here. And also said that the pick up time is not guaranteed. The only reason DHL gets one star is because you have to leave a star otherwise it would be ZERO.

I bought a bag 3 week ago for my on…

I bought a bag 3 week ago for my on eBay from a Japanese store and I haven't received it yet and have no idea when I will.
When i opened a trace on my package and i was told by customer service its in transit. Its been 5 days now from the scheduled date but still no status change on my package.
My daughter cut herself because i could not deliver. This made me so mad and sad. I have everything documented. I will definitely bring this to TV media. DHL must wake up and stop hiring thieves as workers

Shipping nightmare

I bought a watch 3 week ago for my husband on eBay and the Japanese store chose to ship it with DHL. Needless to say, I haven't received it yet and have no idea when I will.

1. The tracking is idiotic. If I punch in the tracking number on the DHL website all I see is some cryptic events lie "Customs status updated" or "Clearance event". To learn further details, I need to subscribe to their email updates (not text messages!) on the website - I figured it out myself, of course, thank you very much.
2. My package was stuck at the customs and the only way I could figure out what happened was read the email updates closely to see they actually wanted me to contact them via phone for more information.
3. When I called, I was notified that my package was being returned to Japan, as they "couldn't reach the shipper for more info". It took me 2 more calls to figure out the "shipper" was me, not the seller (twisted logic, since it was being returned at that point). No one from the DHL CS bothered to figure this out themselves and take all the info from me. So away it went, back to Japan. Now the seller shipped it once more and I have to go through all the hoops again.
4. The call experience is a different kind of torture: it's almost impossible to reach a real person (you need to know the dial combination), then you wait forever on hold just to me misinformed.

I just want my package. I want to be well-informed, I want to be contacted by your company and not waste my working time trying to reach you to give you the info you're supposed to collect. If not, it's your responsibility to make the process of calling you a breeze. Not being able to get an expensive item I bought 3 weeks ago in 2021 is ridiculous.

Finally

Finally, it's over. I called them on Monday and said it was going to be here on Tuesday morning but didn't show (I was right) So a Rep from Phoenix AZ text me. Sorry they will solve the issue tomorrow. So, not going to lie. I cuss them out. Finally Amazon let me contact them and gave me a full refund because Dhl can't di their job. Waste of time and money.

Absolutely the worst shipping company…

Absolutely the worst shipping company on the planet. I had to give one star because zero stars is not an option. My package is supposed to arrive in 5 days it was an express delivery I am now 8 days into a package that was supposed to be delivered 5 days ago. I called DHL I get the runaround and no one can explain where my package is. They lie to you they tell you they're going to call you they never call they tell you they're investigating it but no one knows any more details than the last person you talk to a supervisor nothing gets done. Worst shipping company I have ever encountered. I will never use DHL services for anything. Horrible, horrible, horrible, did I say horrible, horrible!

Cincinnati hub

Absolutely unacceptable delays in the Cincinnati hub. The company is prioritising smaller packages, is aware of the problem and fails to deliver the promised service to their clients.

In these times, stick to FEDEX.

THEY KNOW IT WON'T COME OUT OF THEIR POCKET SO THEY'LL LEAVE IT ANYWHERE. THEN HAVE THE NERVE TO SAY IT WAS DELIVERED ON DOORSTEP. LIESSSSS. THEY NEED TO HOLD THESE DRIVERS ACCOUNTABLE. DHL letting John Lewis customers down

Yet another negative experience from DHL! How can two items be so difficult to deliver? It’s obviously a problem for DHL. Had two items, a printer & a virus protector and advised they were not delivering on the day promised.
Second item two days later and given a timescale but this didn’t happen. Delayed by over 45 mins and no updates! Frustratingly poor DHL
