My dress for a special occasion was stuffed into my letter box & ruined

My dress for a special occasion was stuffed into my letter box and lay there for 24 hours before I finally got a response from DHL Ireland as to its whereabouts. Never in my life have I ever heard of anyone stuffing an item of clothing in to someone's letter box. My dress was ruined both damp & very badly creased. To add insult to injury the girl in DHL who was dealing with my complaint advised me she had passed it to the shipping company who would have had nothing at all to do with the delivery and the state of my dress. Not only am I out the cost of the dress & delivery charge I hadn't time to get anything else to wear so I could not attend my event. I have heard nothing in almost 2 weeks from DHL and I will make sure I have nothing delivered to me by them again. The least I expect is a bit of decency from them as my experience with DHL was exceptionally poor, expensive and very disappointing I would NOT EVER recommend this company to Anyone Sandra Cooney Cavan

Weeks and still no delivery

Weeks and still no delivery. customer service in non existent. No help in any way. I dread having to use this company to get something delivered. Definitely the worse of the delivery companys

dread DHL

dread DHL. can expect phone calls from driver with every excuse not to deliver to door. but they can deliver it to a shop 6 km away even though shop is not part of drop off area. they drop off parcel before their own time arranged as not to cross paths. not the service I paid for. I will avoid companies using this service from now on. polar opposite to DPD which has a great driver and service.

Awful company

Awful company. There’s virtually no customer support as I failed to contact them on WhatsApp and on the Global Recipient landline number. I tried messaging them online but I didn’t receive any satisfactory replies from them online as their responses were irrelevant and they just avoided the question on the exact location of my item. DHL’s eCommerce tracking system is almost non existent as there are no updates. There isn’t any accountability with them and they simply don’t care about their customers. From my experience, I wouldn’t consider them as being a reputable company.

The most annoying company in terms of…

The most annoying company in terms of persistent, bugging texts, WhatsApp messages, emails concerning duty tax unpaid. Got the notification Tuesday, today is Wednesday, got all of the above multiple times, DHL even contacted the seller to get in touch with me over it.
What the hell is wrong with you guys, it's only been two days!

The DHL CORK

The DHL CORK, is the reason of my frustration, today the driver from DHL Cork -ring the doorbell, and straight away after that-trough the parcel with 600€ delicate essential oils distilling set- over the high gate, run to car and drive away, like small smell after prank!!!!!
The men didn't even wait for the reaction, I seen it on the screen of your electronic doorbell !!!
I know that Irish companies ( couriers) have a low standards, that the customers are treated like ''Manure'' or Rubbish, but this is way beyond even my low expecting !!!
I am shocked and disgusted this people should cleaning stables or they may clean the dog business which is left over all Cork , but definitely not doing the service for human beings.

DHL "lost" mobile phone delivery

DHL "lost" my mobile phone delivery. Driver did apparently stop at my gate according to GPS tracking on van. Package was not delivered however. Not at neighbours either.
Driver now cannot be contacted. What a joke service! Avoid!

Very long waiting times

I have this shipment from Auditorium Germany, which is still in Germany after a week and is going to take another eight working days once it reaches Ireland. That's unfortunate.

Excellent service

I got my parcel this morning after I missed a call from the driver and when i rang him he said he’ll delivery it now again and within no time at all he was at my door , a lovely guy , !

SHOCKING COMPANY

I requested parcel for no signature,leave in porch as I work nights.They came and left again with parcel saying I was not there.DHL are shocking,avoid like the bubonic plague.Virtually no customer service,all bots,automated crap.

EXCELLENT CUSTOMER CARE FROM SUE Dublin, AND JAKE Limerick.
Supplier of parcel from Poland failed to include my eir code and phone number so tracking was updated to insufficient address .
I contacted Customer care Dublin and spoke to Sue who put me on hold and she contacted delivery man for Limerick County ,Sue updated my address and mobile number.
Following morning delivery driver Jake phoned me and I arranged
parcel to be left in local village pick up point .
Problem efficiently solved.
Thanks.

Hassle Free

The delivery was early so I was not home when they deliver. But I love you can easily manage the delivery without too much hassle. I had it dropped to the nearest pick up point locker, the I received a code straight away to use! Wonderful option from DHL.

Happy with communication and delivery.

I've had similar sized items delivered before and the packaging is unreasonable. It takes up room in their van and adds to my waste. I see no reason why it could not be reduced like AliExpress does.

"Customer refused delivery" but not true

There were three of us in the flat, and I'm waiting for a gift to arrive via DHL - and they send the message to say "Customer refused delivery"

Completely untrue and no idea where the parcel is now.
