Awesome array of electronic stuff
Awesome array of electronic stuff. Brilliant live shows archive etc. very fair monthly price. I fully respect their decision to remove the free tier. Music isn't free and what you get for your money here can't be found elsewhere. Bgrneric streaming services don't provide the specialism found here. Also a sub includes a bunch of other lovely music apps.
How to use di.fm truly for free in 2026
I refuse to pay for music so hopefully what i do will help others. I listen to di.fm on the Brave Browser, it says you only have 2 hours to listen before paying but ive been listening for free for a few months now. After your free demo expires simply close the tab, go to settings in Brave, go to site settings, data stored and delete di.fm data then search for di.fm and repeat. It pauses here and there and I have to click play to resume due to the "ArE yOu StIlL tHeRe" prompt but other than that its good ol di.fm from free days now without ads and paying a cent
Best sound & humans
I only have Airpods via iPhone & Apple TV, but I still prefer Digitally Imported Premium to Apple Music; bloat, & Spotify; ethics. I pay for YouTube Premium as it's worth it for everything, but the sound isn't as good. Most still want a free lunch. I'm unhealthy and poor, but pay for a few services that are still worthy; for now.
Great Quality

Yes you need to subscribe but it's half the price of the streamers, it's not that expensive if you make use of it.
When I listen to the Trance I just miss recent well known track instead of some radioshows that don't play really trance.
Worth every penny
Worth every penny. Great content with great quality music. !
Amazing app
Amazing app, a few bucks a month for high quality with hundreds of channels..Few things in this world are Worth it. Support their great work and the creators.
I subbed for 3 years living in my car. It's the cost of a iced coffee a month.
As soon as I paid premium it stopped…
As soon as I paid premium it stopped working. It would turn on for 2 seconds and then just stopped. I guess my payments will stop as well
20 years and counting
DI.fm is my go-to radio for over 20 years now, consistently delivering high quality music. I've discovered so many great songs thanks to this station, and continue to do so till today!
What most people don't realize is that for the price of one subscription you get access to 6 stations with different genres of music, and, you can listen for free, with ads, but that's to be expected if you don't want to pay. It's been like this always with every radio station.
Free commercial listening again.
At free account you have got commercials so i dont understand the reason to have only premium members from 2025. I am sorry but i think this will lead you to the end.
Greedy light is flashing.
Been there from the start, now the greedy light is flashing. "You can now enable full listening." I was happy with all of commercial. No way I'll pay around $10 a month.
I've been listening to DI.FM free for…
I've been listening to DI.FM free for around 20 years regularly. I have now upgraded to the premium service. £72 for 2 years through my windows laptop or £45 through Android on my phone. So not at all expensive. I'm very happy with my decision and wish DI.FM a very long life.
Greed above everything
They don’t care about premium members
“Encourage more users to try our Premium offering”. Well dear DI.FM. 6 years premium member here. Your problem are not just free listeners and royalty rates but hunger for money. With new changes you also killed unlimited devices use at once for premium members. No more happy family listening at home. Same rude modus as Tidal and others have. You could at least allow several devices from same IP even with some extra fee. And all that without any annotation or mail to people who bring you a money. What a big mistake.
I like the service very much
I like the service very much. Especially the Jazz and Zen Streams. Never found so many different styles anywhere else. And in my case it is very affordable and cheaper than other streaming services. Plus it works with Amazon Echo and Chromecast. High quality streams also work uninterrupted in mobile networks. Only critique is that there are many different apps. Perhaps it would be easier to have all channels in one app.
Been a premium member since 2010
Been a premium member since 2010, now it's 2024 and I will no longer renew. Used to allow 2 concurrent streams which is great for hardware players like Sonos. But today stealth changed to only allowing 1 stream. I am not even talking about different IPs. No concurrent stream in the same household. I would have been ok to be charged a bit more for additional stream to cover the tiny increase in bandwidth.
Management and corporate decisions are ruining user experience to chase profit margins.
Great music
Great music, great quality.
Im very happy with this site/app and long time listener. Happy to be premium member to support the best music channel there is on the web.
Listening at work, in the car and before sleeping.
Discovered a lot of new tracks thanks to DI.fm

The service went into politics
The service went into politics, a message began to be shown to me, a registered user: you are from an objectionable country. It's sad that good services ruin their reputation with political influences. Why does the service think that if I am Russian, I should not use it, this is racism and fascism. terrible
Finally went premium on a 30 day test…
Finally went premium on a 30 day test drive just to see if the app improved or the interface lag. Nope, still cannot download for off WiFi listening like you can with almost every other platforms. The horrible lag time when selecting your choosen artist or podcast such as Universal Nation by Alex MORPH are still present, you click the listing and nothing happens, you click again thinking it hasn't registered my click, nothing happens again and again a few more times before eventually something happens, then more app lag as it loads the many other shows for this podcast artist, it's like the DB server needs optimization or more CPU/RAM allocation....still no option to fast forward thru tracks, when you come out and go back in again it feels like it has never seen you before and started from the beginning. Spotify has these points down to a tee....I want the platform to remember where I was in the same podcast. I want to be able to download, I want no application lag. Will be ending my premium trial once this over. Shame as I love Future sound of Egypt and Alex Morph, they need to jump ship to Spotify ASAP or lose listeners unless this app improves.
Charging practice illegal..
Music is good and I was a long term premium subscriber. But charging practice is not acceptable and even illegal. Prices are based the registered country of your credit card. My Revolut used to be issued in EU. Now got a new card form them and this seems to be issued from Switzerland. Price of di.fm is now 1.5x higher than before.
