I bought a glass backboard and was not…

I bought a glass backboard and was not told I would need a mounting bracket that would only fit this backboard. I just tried to buy the bracket and was told it is not adjustable, which it obviously needs to be. Got a bunch of jibberish from some no-nothing person online and was told that I couldn't return it after 90 days. Now I am stuck. Please don't give this rinky dink "sporting goods store" any of your time as they know nothing about anything. Go to a real store. Pathetic excuse for a store.

Feel no one shouldn’t waste their money yearly.

When been past consumer employees at store levels of 49 states ,& Fort Myers FL Cleveland page field recalling since 2022 was loyal fan why company is expansive stop caring guns at their stores so than needed my bicycle tone up didn’t do good job assisting me fairly as disabled customer. Felt accused bothered for asking needed assistance. They’re not cheap company you all . Cops are upset that company stop caring guns stores too .FL resident of Lee County you all . USA states to view .

When asked, customer service just fed me some story about it being the delivery service's fault. As if! The packaging was all torn and practically everything was spilled out in the open. Run from this store. Don't walk.

I won't go back to this store

I won't go back to this store. This is now the FOURTH time in a year we have gone to this store...which by the way markets themselves for SPORTING GOODS. These idiot have an ENTIRE WALL of cleats and they NEVER have ANY in stock. How is that possible? We just went to the store and they literally had 22 styles and only had them in TWO sizes. I'm over this store. We went to four in Tampa and all the same thing. I'll never waste my time or money in this store again.

I purchased a treadmill 11 months ago…

I purchased a treadmill 11 months ago and it has stopped working. The brand was Horizon and the model 7.0 AT. I have tried Horizon support and Johnson Tech (Parent Company) for weeks without any return contact. I contacted "D!cks Sporting Goods" thinking they might stand behind the brands they sell and was told it isn't private label so they can't help and they don't even have a support number for Horizon. The last treadmill I purchased directly from Horizon lasted for five years so I'm curious if "D!cks Sporting Goods" purchases cheaper versions.

My name is Catherine Jawana, I'm a professional chef. When I went to this store, I was trying to make pasta. to make that pasta of mine, I had to get a gulf club to beat my eggs, and chicken. When I got to the gulf club, I had to beat my chicken to make chicken pasta. With a 5 STAR REVIEW on Yelp. Anyways, when I hit my son first with the club, it broke. My son can be hard, but is normally not that hard. So I'm requesting I get a full refund or I'm going to sue. 1 STAR

I ordered a thread mill

I ordered a thread mill, got charged 140 for just a drop off.
Waited 2 weeks it came today, I refused i, the packaging was all damaged like it fell from the moon.
I refused it called dicks, the girl told me they would refund the shipping cost but I have to wait at least 30 days for the thread mill refund so they took the money on the 30 Jan I’ve been paying interest on something I didn’t have and now I’ll pay interest for another 30 days!
What if the driver keeps the threadmill, I won’t get anything!!!
Never buy from them again!!!

makes your life harder than it needs to be

order was delivered to a wrong address. Instead of dealing with the situation and providing refund, sends me to sort this out directly with fedex... What a terrible waste of time. If Fedex is your business partner, they should sort things out between each other. I now have to create a fedex account and what not. who has the time for that...

If I could rate a zero I would

If I could rate a zero I would. I did a return for an online order on 1/5/26. Today is 2/2/26, I still haven’t received my refund. I’ve never experienced anything like this. Mind you, they have resold the item I returned. I will never ever buy anything from dsg again. This store is a scam!!!

My daughter purchased a dozen Titleist…

My daughter purchased a dozen Titleist golfs balls for $48 and I went to sporting in plantation FL to exchange them for the one's I like but didn't have the receipt. The manager offered me $2.35 because I didn't have a receipt. All I wanted to do is exchange for a cheaper ball. I will never spend another dime in this store after just spending $800 on a new set of clubs shame on you people

Order never received in full

This is my first time ordering from Dicks online. I order 5 Stanley Cups. They keeped canceling my order on the day it was supposed to be delivered. After 3 long weeks of waiting they only send 2 out of 5 items in my order. Very disappointed.

Don't recommend

I ordered a treadmill and used their delivery service. Their delivery service contacted me and they set the date. That day came and went and no delivery. The delivery service called and said they are at this store for pickup but the store had sold the last one so they couldn't deliver. I purchased it weeks ago and they had it in stock when I bought it. Called customer service and they where no help. Basically said o well. I looked around at other stores while on the phone and found 7 at another Dicks that was within several miles of this store. They didn't care and I still have no clue if I'm going to get what I ordered because they do not communicate. Might is well be talking to AI with their boiler plate responses and inability to help. This has been a horrible experience and I strongly suggest going to a different store. Update: the failed delivery was Jan 16th and they got the item back in store on Jan 19th but now the soonest the can deliver is Jan 29th. I ordered this on Jan 7th and it was in stock. Today is Jan 21 and based on my many calls I doubt I'll get it this month. I should have ordered from a different company. It may have looked like a good value but the time and effort I've had to put into this ate up any of the savings I was going to get by buying through them. My time is worth something too and I shouldn't have to be writing this review but if it save one person from the stress of buying from Dicks it will be worth it.

Do not treat customers right

Was given a gift card as a present,when…

Was given a gift card as a present,when i went to use it there weren’t any funds available.Called customer service and they told me after 50 minutes on the phone that i had to call cvs since it was purchased there. I call cvs and they look into it and say they just activate the card anything further i have to go through Dicks. I call Dicks back and they tell me no i have to go through cvs even though the law says the third party vendor is not responsible for it and that the name on the gift card is the responsible party.So basically don’t get a dicks gift card because they don’t guarantee its safety!!

Awful experience

Placed an order online for in store pickup. I went to the store to pick up the order, but they only had one of them. I got another one off the shelf (??), but the clerk would not recognize the fact that I had already paid for both, so I had to pay again. Then they closed and locked the store and refused to open the doors. They made me leave by a back door which opens onto a poorly lit parking lot and dark sidewalks. I had to walk all the way around the building outside in the rain to get back to the mall entrance where I came in. I am a senior citizen with leg and foot problems that made walking this extra distance a painful experience. The young man who claimed to be the manager was totally unconcerned that they had bungled the order, and been extremely rude to a customer. I want to be sure this order is completely refunded. Dicks owes me the price of the second undelivered item. I will be filing an ADA complaint with the federal government, and writing to mall management about this onerous and arbitrary behavior. Unable to contact dicks support. Nobody home.

Defective Luggage, Poor Resolution and Pricing Practices

I recently purchased a $200 carry‑on suitcase from their online store and have yet to receive a usable bag. The first suitcase arrived with a broken interior zipper slider of the major compartment before its first use, making it unusable. Customer service arranged a replacement, but the “new” suitcase arrived in a damaged box, missing the dust bag, and with visible scuffs, scratches, and discoloration on the shell.

To resolve this, I contacted customer service via online chat and spent over an hour explaining that I had received both a defective original suitcase and a damaged replacement. Instead of simply providing a proper new replacement at the original price I paid, I was told I would need to pay the current, higher price for another replacement. The representative even “joked” that they were happy to offer me the same discount their teammate had applied previously, which only brought the cost back to what I had already paid, as if matching my original price was doing me a favor.

In the end, there was no meaningful resolution: I was left with two unusable suitcases and a suggestion that I pay more to fix a problem entirely caused by the condition of the products they shipped to me. This experience has left me with the impression that the company does not stand behind its products, does not value customers’ time, and is willing to treat a warranty/defect situation as an opportunity to charge a higher current price rather than honor the original purchase.

Ordered a gift card for my

I ordered a gift card for my grandson. It was never delivered. I asked about it repeatedly and received nothing. Finally I received a notification that it had already been used but my daughter said it was never received. So, either the USPS stole it or it was stolen internally, by this company, since this venue will not let me use the name . They said they couldn't help me since it was already used. Sounds a bit suspicious to me. THIEVES. They don't care. They got their money. They just don't care about me or my grandson's ruined Christmas. Shame on them. They suck and I will NEVER spend a dime with them EVER AGAIN. THIEVES!
