Online experience was a nightmare.

Online experience was a nightmare.
Ordered Dec 5th and told delivery 18-22nd. Called on 23rd after having not received item. I was told item had shipped from vendor but unable to provide tracking #. Several hours later received email stating item was still " in production" and would not ship in time for Christmas.
Total customer service failure. Lies and deflection. One of the worst experiences I've ever encountered and they just did not care.

I ordered a Golf Shirt for my son on 19 December 2025. The order was confirmed online, and I received an email stating confirmation. The next day I received another email stating that my order was ready for mailing and I should expect delivery between 21 and 24 December. Expecting the order to be delivered, I DIDNOT take any additional actions to provide a Christmas gift for my son. On 22Dec2025 I received an email that the order had been canceled. No explanation just canceled. If you donot have the item available you should NOT advertise and confirm orders. Your lack of efficiency has caused a problem for me and my family. I will not be ordering ANYTHING else online from your company.

Customer service or lack there of

I ordered a rod n reel combo yesterday and my expected arrival was today but i wasnt getting updates so i call in to customer support ( if u wanna call it that) and i was charged shipping but was told my package hadnt shipped and nobody could tell me when it would or when i could expect it. Turns out i just have to wait asni camt pick it up in store either. Gonna leave some reveiws here n there n tell whatba shitty job and how your treating online customers. Thanks for nothing!

Ordered same day delivery, received nothing, charged for delivery service tip

Ordered same day delivery. Credit card charged. Received email saying it had been delivered (it had not). Received email following day saying order was being processed and they would let me know when it might ship, with no acknowledgement of same day delivery having not been delivered. Third day heard nothing. Called customer service who had no update. Asked for refund and they obliged but said they could not refund the automatic tip to the delivery service they had hired who had not delivered anything. “Nothing we can do.” So I received nothing and yet paid for DSG delivery service who admittedly delivered nothing. This store is aptly named.

Awful experience with online order

Awful experience with online order. I ordered a bunch of Stanley's for Christmas gifts and received a box of damaged cups that were filthy and sticky and scuffed up with no straws customer service had me on the phone for 40 minutes to tell me I could just simply buy the straws for $15 and would not send replacement straws. Will never shop here again

I bought a pair of heated battery…

I bought a pair of heated battery powered gloves and it was defective. Missing spring on one of the battery compartment.Word was they have been having problems with these defective gloves. I didn’t want to reorder and run into the same problem.

NEVER RECEIVED ORDER

In July of 2025 I ordered two pairs of shoes online. It was some kind of sale they had going on through Tik-Tok and until this day December 10, 2025 NOTHING HAS ARRIVED. I keep emailing them about it and all they ever say is that it is in transit and to check it with the tracking number. I have even told me that I wanted my refund back because it has been too long waiting for my order. One of the pair of shoes was for my son to start school in August and til this day he doesn't have his new shoes. It is so sad that this store steals money from people this way. So please becareful when buying from them.

Went in to return a online order,asked the girl if she minded helping me,she said you didn't come in the line the right way, which there was no line at the time,I can assure you that I took my money and left the store asap,never will I step foot back in a dicks sporting goods store,her nasty attitude lost a 200 dollar sell today

NEVER again

NEVER again! Purchased a $54 Christmas present online & received damanged. Sent them pictures. Chat ineffective. Must return in person. Nothing but problems. $53 to go in the trash & dicks isn’t concerned. DO NOT RISK it! MANY cheaper better places to buy same merchandise that value their customers!

I’m sharing this because I had a disappointing experience with an online return that I hope they reviews for consistency. I purchased a pair of shoes (Order #40006774220) and returned them by mail. After several weeks of processing, my return was denied because the shoes were considered “worn.” In the past, I’ve returned similar items without any issue, so the policy seems unclear and inconsistently applied.
I spent over an hour in online chat and another half hour on the phone, but I was not given a chat transcript or ticket number despite multiple requests. The delay in processing also pushed my order past the 90-day window, leaving me with no options. The only resolution offered was a $5 discount that required more spending.
I’ve been a loyal customer and wanted to keep shopping here, but this experience felt unusually difficult and confusing. I’m sharing this in hopes the return process and communication can be improved.

Price Swapping

On Cyber Monday, they advertised a tumbler that was normally $42.99 as being on sale for $29.99. I found the tumbler on the website, product page said $29.99. I added it to cart - still shows as $29.99. When I go to the checkout page, the subtotal is $42.99. I kept trying to refresh and try from different devices and the same thing would happen. Said $29.99 but when you get to the point of checking out, subtotal shows as $42.99. The chat feature was not available, so the next morning I did a chat and explained the situation and asked if they could make it right. The agent asked the supervisor who refused to sell it to me for anything other than the current selling price. I provided a screenshot and they still refused. So guess what? I will not be shopping at D!ck's any longer! If D!ck's can't make their website work correctly, and the supervisor is willing to lose a customer over $13.00, then so be it. Haha, Trustpilot says my review contains inappropriate language because of the store name.

Long time customer with NO HELP

Hello,

I am leaving this review because my recent experience with DSG Sporting Goods has been extremely disappointing, and I need this issue corrected immediately. I’m a long time customer and am very upset about this transaction.

I received the wrong shoe, in the wrong color, and the pair you sent me was used. When I called customer service for help, the representative I spoke with was unprofessional, dismissive, and ultimately provided no solution. He repeatedly told me to return the item in-store - even after I made it clear that the nearest DSG location is over 90 minutes from my home. I work full-time, and making a three-hour round trip is not a reasonable expectation, especially when the error was on DSG end.

To make matters worse, this order was meant to be a gift, and now it will be delayed because of this mistake. The representative’s tone was unhelpful, and I could even hear roosters crowing in the background, which added to how unprofessional the interaction felt.

I am requesting:
1. A prepaid return label for the incorrect/used shoes.
2. A replacement shipment of the correct shoes I originally ordered, sent out immediately.
3. Assurance that this situation is handled properly, given the inconvenience and frustration this has caused.

I am a long-time customer and expect a much higher level of service and professionalism. Please resolve this promptly.

I will never order from Dicks again

I will never order from Dicks again. Just discusting! Ordered some Tasman 2 Uggs received them today. They were not only warn but had some ones hair’s if you notice I said “HAIR’S” a lot in the box and shoes. I will order going forward elsewhere and the official UGGs websites DO better Dicks.
