Just received my Diet Chef order and so…

Just received my Diet Chef order and so far I am very happy with it. The instructions are easy to follow and the food is very tasty. We had a slight hiccup at the beginning because I received the incorrect order but the customer service I received was first class and the correct products were delivered a couple of days later. Nothing was too much trouble for the young lady from Diet Chef. Thanks Jenny, you're fantastic!

The parcel was delivered to the wrong…

The parcel was delivered to the wrong address and I was sent a text saying that it was in my porch. It wasn’t in my porch and the photo they sent me showed that it was outside someone’s door. Fortunately, I recognised the door and went to collect it. It was on a totally different street. I rang diet chef to complain and left a message but no one returned my call.

Simple to follow, tasty filling food, easy weight-loss

I am two weeks into my one month weight-loss plan with Diet Chef. I have lost 1lb every two days, so I'm on track to lose a stone in a month. I never thought I'd ever achieve this!
The diet is very easy to follow because the meals are tasty and filling. I love the fact that the whole day's meals (including one small snack) consist of 800 calories and I can add up to 400 extra calories per day in the form of dairy, fruit, veg and nuts. This really suits me.
My only gripes would be:
Please prompt customers before check-out to make sure they only want the default set of meals. I completely forgot to customise my meals and ended checking out with the default which included a few meals I would not have chosen myself. I realised my mistake immediately so went back in and customised my plan and 'saved' but the order had obviously already been sent to the warehouse and the default selection arrived. I like 95% of the food, but there are some meals I'd swap next time.
Please also provide a check-box for customers to select or de-select gluten-free items because unless you really have to eat it you definitely don't want gluten-free porridge in the selection if you can help it!!
A referral discount for friends would be welcome.

Good Diet Food But Packaging Poor.

Immediate Weight Loss

Within a week I lost 4lbs and enjoyed doing it. Late night snacking was my downfall but now I can manage to survive without raiding the fridge. Apart from the snacks, the Cottage Pie is my favourite. Thanks for your help Jenny. Cheers.

Terrible!

Please do not deal with this company in any way whatsoever. This company is an absolute disgrace!

I used to use Diet Chef several years ago, and the food and service were fantastic. I don't know what has happened to the company, but it's completely different.

The food is absolutely vile, the dinners taste disgusting, they all have an artificial taste to them, definitely not healthy.
The snacks are a complete joke, tiny little things, and the cheese snacks are straw-like and taste stale. No real choice for the lunches; the shakes used to be the only best thing for lunches; now they give you a powder packet to make yourself, and even that is not in their own branding. I've noticed this time round that some of their foods are not even theirs, a third-party company’s products.

It seems they are doing everything they can to cut costs in order to make money.

I emailed them to cancel my future orders and share with them my horrible experience, and they didn't seem to care at all. The only thing they were concerned about was charging me additional money to stop receiving the vile food.

I've asked them to cancel, and they are still attempting to charge my card and send out food.

I've had to resort to contacting my bank to block transactions to them because they keep trying to debit money from my account.

I have wasted £538 with this company.

Advise you to avoid and use another food company.

Avoid

I’m really disappointed with my order. It arrived three days late, which was frustrating.

When I opened the box, none of the items looked anything like the photos on the website. I tried one lunch item and it was disgusting. The chicken was brown/black and the sauce was like brown slime.

Overall, I would avoid this service. I really wish I had read the reviews before ordering.

Disgusting

I have used Diet chef on about 4 or 5 occasions now. The last twice the food was disgusting and the only thing I could eat was the tomato soup daily as the meals were awful.
I have had to throw out the meals so at £300 plus pounds monthly.
At the end of the 4 month period, they did not stop and kept taking money from my account. It goes onto automatic renewal and this is not highlighted enough on their website although it is written in the small terms and conditions that you have to hunt for.

I won’t be getting the food from them again as it’s horrible and tiny portions that even wouldn’t fill up a child.

This company has really gone downhill and when you call you can’t get a hold of anyone.

I've tried Jane Plan about 10 yrs ago and it was really disgusting, so Diet Chef is a step up, though wonder if they are part of the same company?
