Diet fresh experience.

Easy to order. Food is actually tasty unlike some other diet foods on the market. Lots of choice for mains and lunches, soups are very nice. Quick & easy to cook. I have used DC before in the past successfully and so has one of my adult kids and we did follow the guidance given by Diet Chef.
Only negative is they used to do a large cookie for breakfast that was amazing & great for those who don't like eating breakfast or cereal, please bring it back it was the favourite breakfast.
I contacted DC about a couple of things, 1 was moving my order date, Jenny was quick to respond on both occasions and helpful.

So far not impressed ☹️

So far, I have not enjoyed the main meals. They do not taste good. I would probably have received the same quality food had I have purchased ready meals from the supermarket.

Poor delivery courier said he couldn’t…

Poor delivery courier said he couldn’t by law deliver the box to my front door and has to leave it on the porch. I am a disabled person who finds it difficult to walk especially when I have a heavy box to lurch up two flights of stairs with.

I had to withdraw, Disspointed..on safety grounds

We had to withdraw from the program because being the age I am I could not remove the plastic cover after microwaving because the seal was unbreakable and became dangerous with the hot temperature food spilling onto my hands.

Exceptional Service

Returning my diet with DHL was shocking. I received several dates and times for pickup and thy never came. The work put in by Jenny in customer services was greatly appreciated. The effort and time she spent resolving my enquiries was exceptional. It was nice to receive such excellent customer service.

Food quality & Flexibility for on go has gone down!

I used diet chef years ago & they had far more & better options then then they do now. The food quality in my opinion has gone down but they are charging more. They is less food choice for on the go & travelling, they is basically not breakfast choice it's either granola, muesli, porridge or 1 decent alternative blueberry pancakes; which are still time consuming for on the go people. The best thing about the breakfast used to be the easy choice of multiple flavoured cookies, no hassle no fuss no prep.

Everything is for a microwave bar to pot noodle types of which 1 I personally don't like. This is not enough choice for someone who has kids, dogs & works for the emergency service & doesn't have access to a microwave.
I still quite like a lot of the meals but after 1 month of the 1st box I felt like I was stuck in my home so I could eat my meals & was fed up the meals after 3weeks I wanted to quit & actually called up to cancel!

This was never an issue the 1st time.

Not happy with Diet Chef

Not happy with Diet Chef. Opted for 3 months supply which was a bit cheaper. I tried to cancel after 2 months as portion size very small and I did not enjoy the food. After discussion on the phone agreed to have the 3rd month (delayed as I was on holiday) and was able to replace some of the food but cancelled any future delivery. Then out of the blue with no contact had an email from DHL to say they were about to deliver another months supply. After numerous calls managed to stop delivery I have now received money back but less £35 I assume return costs. This I find unacceptable as it was their error not mine. Errors do happen but it’s the way they are dealt with is important. Would not recommend this company mainly due to lack of correspondence they tried to say probably emails went in junk folder but I check my junk folder before deleting.

Once a box has been dispatched, we are unfortunately no longer able to cancel that delivery — this was explained to you at the time of cancellation. As the delivery was subsequently rejected, a £35 rejection fee was applied to cover the delivery and unpacking costs, as outlined in our terms and conditions.

We understand this may have been frustrating and are sorry for any inconvenience caused. Our team always aims to communicate clearly, and we’ll take your comments on board to improve our processes going forward.

Ok good service and delivery excellent keeps you updated with new order ! Quite expensive and not easy to get hold of any body for advice and overall good better than Jane plan but could give loyal customers discounts or offers

Convenient, tasty and it works for me

I am enjoying all the meals and in the first 10 days have steadily lost weight. Yes the pasta is a bit soft but the joy of going to the box and selecting a meal without having to trawl the supermarket shelves is massive

Rip off

At first, the meal choices were good, if a little low on vegetarian options. By the second month, they were getting repetitive and we were cooking our own meals on some evenings. This meant by the third month, there was a lot of unused meals still. So I cancelled and was still charged for the third month even though we received no food. The offer only related to month 1, so months 2 and 3 were very expensive. Would not recommend and won’t do again.

Diet Chef experience

My order arrived on time. I started the plan the next day I was looking forward to the start of a new journey and losing the weight. How ever after doing a week on the plan I was disappointed with the result of only losing one pound also as I sampled the meals I found them bland and I could not eat some of them the taste was not pleasant.The texture was too soft.I have cancelled my future order for this reason the plan is not for me.Based on my experience I would not recommend the plan.When I phoned customer service to cancel any future orders they were very help full and cancelled it straight away but it was at a cost of £50.00
