Good support
Had an issue with a Tablet I bought from Digiland, Gavin had the problem sorted with a short wait.
We have always found the staff approachable, helpful and knowledgable over the years we have been in and out of the shop for various reasons.
Terrible but got there in the end
Because my Samsung laptop is no longer under warranty I was directed to Digicare, my laptop was fantastic inside but was falling apart from the outside.. I rung up Digicare and they took my laptop in for repair, there was an initial £25 payment for collection/delivery services, they took that on the phone and booked the collection, next day DPD showed up, collected it.. 2 days later I got a phone call, diagnosis was that both the inside fans needed replacing (i knew one did) and the housing top and bottom needed replacing (knew this too).. £45 for them to fix it and then another £160 ish for the parts... Everything was done on the phone, but didn't receive any type of confirmation/break down ect.. Whatever.. Few days passed didn't hear anything until DPD sent a text letting me know they were going to deliver it, got it back.. Checked it, top/bottom housing was replaced perfectly but the fans hadn't been touched.. Rung them up and explained the situation, woman got a bit funny, basically telling me I'd either broken it again or didn't know what I was talking about --- she then asked the guy who fixed the laptop, he also denied the error but she agreed to have the laptop recollected... still adamant I was wrong.. Sent an email with photos for proof and also asked for a breakdown, did I get a reply? You bet I didn't! Recollected... a week or so passed didn't hear anything, rung up, spoken to a LOVELY woman (wish I had spoken to her before! Dawn. She checked the progress and reassured me that if anything was wrong this time to speak to her ect) DPD delivered it the following day... checked it again this time, perfect, thankfully! although the same guy worked on it and has literally ruined a few of my screws to the point there was no thread anymore, took me and my O/H ages to get into it and will have to replace them.. It felt quite spiteful and the experience made me very anxious.. I wouldn't use them again.
Prompt, efficient laptop repair
My Samsung laptop died nearly two years ago. Finally I sent it to Digicare who replaced the motherboard successfully and returned it to me within a few days. All my programs successfully restored. After a couple of months no new problems have arisen.
Advance payment for the replacement motherboard was required, (no problem), but my only slight criticism was that Digicare seemed unable to check stock with Samsung, and so full payment had to be made in advance for the replacement motherboard without knowing if it existed! However, does not detract from overall excellent service!
Crashed Laptop
The service and advice from their daily clinic was excellent and having been handed nothing but gloom from other national service centres this response was first rate.
Efficient, friendly, helpful, first rate service.
My 3 year old Samsung Chronos 7 needed a replacement screen. My local repairer tried for 2 days to find one, without success. I sent a number of emails around the country, and Sabrina from Digicare replied straight away. She was extremely helpful, responding quickly and efficiently to any query. I telephoned Joy to place and pay for the order and Joy was also very friendly and helpful, finding out for me immediately whether Gavin, their engineer, could fit the screen while I waited, which indeed he could and did. I could not have asked for a more efficient, friendly and helpful service and am very grateful to them all. Highly recommended.
SCAMMERS!!
I sent my laptop to them to fix the hinges which they did nicely but they then said that my hard drive was bad (even though it had been fine for ages and had no problems with it) and apparently if they send the laptop back it will only work for 2 more weeks which was a load of BS.
I used to have 1 terabyte of data on my laptop.
Laptop gets sent to them....
Comes back with only 400 gigabytes....
After a few hours of fighting over the phone they finally accepted to save more files than they originally planned even though I still lost a tone of information on the computer
I had important information on there so I wanted them to send the laptop back so I could get the information off which they refused. My laptop has also gone slower since it's been sent back so I have no idea what bad things they have done to this but my laptop is in bad condition now.... also my laptop has lost a tone of value after they ripped me off from my previous 1 terabyte to only 400 gigabytes because they couldn't be bothered to waste more money on buying my original hard drive so thought they could save money cheating me out of 600 gigabytes...
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND DO NOT LET THEM REPAIR ANYTHING OF YOURS!!!!
Replacement laptop LCD panel - good product, service and price.
After having bad experiences on a previous laptop with one of the multitude of websites selling replacement LCD screens that claimed to be genuine replacement but turned out to be a dodgy knockoff that didn't work at all, I decided to go to an official Samsung service centre for this repair. Digicare is one of 4 in the UK. I did find one other website selling this panel which I would probably trust as I've bought other things from them before, but it was more expensive. One thing I can say is Samsung's website is a maze and it's very hard to find the list of service centres. Their map of service centres doesn't work on some browsers.
After contacting them for a quote, they very quickly responded with a good price for the panel plus labour. I asked if I could buy the panel and fit it myself because being without my laptop for the estimated 5-8 working days turnaround time would have been very inconvenient for me and they happily obliged with another quick response. They didn't increase the price, just included the postage cost which was DPD next day delivery.
When the panel arrived it was well packaged. The panel was sealed in what looks like its original box with an ESD bag and foam padding, inside a much bigger box with plenty of packing paper. On taking my laptop apart I found the panel to be identical to the original part. I very carefully replaced it and it worked perfectly.
If you're not a very technical person, I wouldn't recommend replacing it yourself as I could imagine it would be easy to do some damage to the laptop or the panel in the process. I do this sort of thing all the time. You'll have to look at other reviews for their fitting/repair service.

Had my notebook repaired last month for an intermittent graphics fault . The laptop was collected on the Monday and back repaired by Wednesday morning . No problems since great service.
Replacement LCD - Laptop returned all scratched DONT USE DIGICARE
Sent my laptop off to digicare after having lcd issues, was told by samsung that it had to go to them and that i had no choice... was overall happy with the turnaround time however and got my laptop back in around a week. Opened the packaging and yes was impressed with how it was packed but then on inspection noticed really deep scratch marks on my laptop case and mouse pad. The laptops not even a year old!!
Called Digicare and the only thing I can do is now basically return the item to them so that they can inspect it, again leaving me without a laptop and unable to do my college work. Customer service is appologetic but not really any help. Also not their problem need to goto Samsung. Joke DONT USE DIGICARE

Crap Customer Service
Before Christmas I sent my laptop to Digicare to replace my broken keyboard. I had spilt some liquid over it and excepted that being my fault and the laptop being out of warranty, to pay the charge of £150ish. They returned the laptop very quickly and I thought great, until I begun to use it. the keys were clunky and sticking, So just after Christmas I rang and arranged for the laptop to be returned, I sat back and waited. After two days I rang them! to be told I had liquid ingress on the keyboard and as such they will not repair it under warranty. Following a rather heated conversation and a total denial on my part I was met with "if you want it back you'll have to pay £29". I have since paid the charge to get my laptop back and upon arrival I was all over it like a rash looking for evidence of liquid, guess what, I didn't find any. Even using a powerful torch I was able to make out some tiny and I mean tiny spots on two keys.
They sent some evidence with an explanation but I could not see any marks apart from one spot on the F5 key. I think their ethics towards customers is shameful, and of course I will take this further. My opinion is if you have a problem don't use them. £190 for a keyboard that is awful to use is just a joke. To add insult to injury they added a leaflet for an extended warranty, just a joke company use someone else.
3 attempts to repair laptop and STILL got the same fault
Samsung use this shower to outsource their computer repairs, 3 times they have had the unit and the fault remains (memory problem) where they replaced the hard drive (for a memory problem?!?) then the motherboard, and then sent it back with no fault found... It's been with them 43 days and the are useless. Calls never returned, fobbed off with the technician are at break for 15mins (at ANY time of the day!) and have to deal with a receptionst who has no technical knowledge. Unit with a 3rd party to asess and report back to Samsung for a replacement/exchange. Also, Digicare sent it back NFF as 3 hardware changes and you get a replacement from Samsung - that has been denied me 'cos of thier incompetence!
Quick delivery, email responses and refund
Ordered a Samsung replacement cable which was delivered when expected. Unable to fit cable and requested a refund. Email responses were quick and helpful. Refund was prompt. No complaints re the company or item. Unfortunately I was unable to repair my netbook!
Given the run around
Ordered a keyboard for a laptop and was told delivery would come on monday. After 2 days still no sign even though digicare say that it has been sent and UPS telling me that the parcel is still on site !! very poor customer service, agree use at own risk, i wish i had read this before ordering with them.
Away with the fairies this lot.
Use at your peril. Sent our order to totally the wrong address, and late. Called them and they don't even recognise their own order numbers. They told me I had quoted an old invoice number. I quoted the ORDER number from the receipt order confirmation email. Said they would resend the goods, but this was after talking to 3 people of over 15 minutes.
