I don't understand, why information about where to pick up the ticket or where to depart is not included in the booking confirmation email. The adress link in the email guided us to no particular place in the habour. Bear in mind that Piraeus harbour is one of the biggest in Europe and traffic is busy and fast.
The mail did provide us with information about the ferry company and through their website under 'frequently asked questions' it is understood that a third company operates this particular route. Google maps help us to find their ticket office 3,5 km away and the very kind lady at the desk helped us to locate our gate - several kilometers away.
When arriving in the specific corner of this huge harbour several signs and ticket offices materialized, so can't help but wonder, why you're not providing this very simple information when you confirm the booking? "Follow the signs when you arrive in the harbour", as another wellmeaning advice said on some webpage, is not an option in a harbour the size of Pireaus.

Having used 2 days and 2 different visa carts trying to make a reservation bye Ferries to Gotland I finally got my voucher. Frustrating not knowing if it is possible at all.
Trying to contact Direct Ferries bye the use of website link 2 days before departure, in the pursuit for an earlier ferry return form Gotland, we got answer after the original booking was pasted. The answer was an apologies for the late reply and a question: “Was you able to travel as planned ?” and “if there is anything further that you need assistance with please do not hesitate to contact us”. I think I need not express what I think of this.
I cannot in any way recommend Direct Ferries

Unable to contact Direct ferries and cancle because of Corona! The website say it can not handle cancellations by email , but it needs to be done from my account. The website also say you can call but there is no phonenumber. I have to cancle my trip because of corona restrictions imposed by the Norwegian government, so I want a refund. But in "my account" it does not alow for cancellations.
Terrible customerservice! Responsetime is way to long, poorly writen answer with little detail and no link. I just want my money back, not this text “For cancelled bookings the operator has change them into an open ticket this is valid until of the year“

Worst company ever. Have no way of contacting them, no phone number, NOTHING. They only sell, but when it comes to refundes, you can´t come in contact with them. Also, they have the worst website ever made. No way of contacting them, no customer support. They don´t even answer the ferrie companies they sell tickets to.

Ferry from Tenerife to La Gomera.
The booking is straightforward. A little confusion about the car. When it is a rental car you do not know the car brand and registration no in advance.
booking through direct ferries certainly fills up you mailbox.
due to long answering times on the site I tried 4 times, having luck the fourth time. Had to start over every time.
after that I got a mail reminder me to finish the prior attempts.
finally getting a booking through I recieved the upselling / add to you journey buy more mails...
In all too much trouble and way too many mails.
keep it clean!
Very easy to book, but simply impossible to get into contact with them if changes is needed.
If you write their service desk an e-mail, it takes forever to get an answer. And the answers is bringing you no where.
I had e-mails going both ways for months, but now I have given up.
I highly recommend not to use them

Direct Ferries called me on phone on 23 September. They were full of apologies, and promised to answer me very soon. Now I have been waiting 9 days without any response. They are simply just too much.
Again, I recommend not to use them. They are simply just a money machine with no regards to their costumers.

I den sms som direct ferries udsendte med kontrolnummer ved betaling med visa kort, anførtes prisen for to returbillleter (som gående passager mellem Hirtshals og Kristiansand) til 786,65 GBP. Den korrekte pris var 786,65 Dkr.
I den situation var det umuligt at komme i telefonisk kontakt med Direct Ferries. Det er sidste gang at jeg benytter Direct Ferries.
English:
In the sms, which Direct Ferries sent containing the coontrol code for the visa payment for two return tickets (walking passangers on the Hirtshals og Kristiansand route), the price was given as 786,65 GBP. THE correkte price was 786,65 Dkr.
In that situation it was impossible to get in touch with Direct Ferries to rectify matters.
This is the last time I have booked with Direct Ferries.

the ferry and the trip was great but that fact you take on too many drunks ruins it for the decent customers, i was planning on taking my kids on the same trip but i have now decided against it due to the amount of alcoholics drunk before they board and then falling over knocking into people spilling drinks on people whilst on the trip. for all this reason that there is no control over the drunks on board that i give it 1 star. they are intimidating, loud and not people i want around my children if i want to sit out on deck in the sun.

Payment with credit card was a little difficult
Horrible - never updated website to reflect cancelled trips to Menorca - wasted one hotel stay over - very complicated procedure to get money back. Never book with Direct Ferries! always book directly with the individual ferry companies.

The travelling plan did not contain any information about the address of the Viking Line terminal in Stockholm, the port of departure. On the contrary, it contained information of the terminal in Turku, the port of arrival. It was very difficult to find the Stockhom terminal adress - the point of departure - on the Viking Line homepage.
