Booked a small apartment via laterooms

Booked a small apartment via laterooms, arrived to find the proprietors had not placed the add on the site or received the booking. Inconceivable in 2026 the platforms security is so lax to allow this. The owners said it happened all the time and when I was outside another family turned up with the same result. Parent company Booking.com after an hour offered an alternative in Blackpool when I was in Warwickshire. Pathetic avoid.

Aftercare not helpful

The booking process was easy, but whilst i had problems with the hotel and paid through here they were less than helpful. Not understanding my complaint and then told me to speak to the hotel directly to see if they could help. I emailed the company as soon as i got home with my complaint and the reason for wanting a refund due to service failings but was told no, because they hadn't read my complaint or understood properly. Then closed the case.
Avoid the Brighton Holiday Inn IHG hotel also!

Room was a lovely size and beautiful…

Room was a lovely size and beautiful views but mixer bath tap didn't work and ended up having to run a bath using the shower head. Previous occupants hair on the tiles in the bathroom. Light constantly came on in the bedroom throughout the night keeping us awake all night.

Last minute booking

We had a lovely time in Swanage. Not far to walk to sea from hotel, however if mobility is an issue the hotel is on a bit of a hill. Hotel was very tired looking throughout , room was spotlessly clean though. So the breakfast was continental and to be fair it was poor. Coffee and orange juice were nice though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. So if you just want somewhere to sleep then I would recommend it.

Frist of all it was a pub

Frist of all it was a pub with only 3 rooms. The walls had not been painted for ages. And looked nothing like the pic on late rooms. 75 pounds a night is a joke for the size of room. Plus I had massage acussing of smoking in room with would never do. And the cleaner was rude

Room wasn't to standards

Room wasn't to standards, out dated, not comfortable.
Invasion off moths n squahed blood in bed. Moved us , sane shitty room. , tried get refund as we want stay somewhere else and no manager to answer. Disappointed.

Booked hitel for 2 for 2 nights with breakfast , breakfast isn't on email rang late deals Xperia, said its not on there , false advertising, tied cancel said need ring hotel , hotel like we can't cancel from 3rd party, rang back said il loose half my payment. Ridiculous.
False advertising!!!
Paying 16.50 each on breakfast per day i would never do.
Disappointed in service, won't be useing it again!
