SCAM!

SCAM!

They have made their logo strikingly similar to ryan air (same colours), and charged me an extra £20 ontop of the standard flights! I thought it was the ryan air website I was booking on as it comes up as the top search in google. £20 for what?! Its an automated process, where is the service? Its a complete scam. Do not use this website!

Terrible

Ok here goes.
So out of the blue one day my friends ask if me and my girlfriend want to go on holiday with them. We both agreed and thought it was a good idea.

Unfortunately a month down the line my girlfriend lost her job and because of that I decided not to go neither as it's unfair. Cancellation was an absolute pain! Basically if you are not the lead passenger of the flight you can't do anything. So we exchanged emails and told the representative why we couldn't go. I told her that my girlfriend lost her job, that she's now claiming for Jobseekers allowance and that I had to take on all of her finances so this put me in a tricky spot aswell. I included personal information about us in the emails, I also complained slightly about the lead passenger because we didn't know much about the holiday and that there was a lack in communication.

Found out had to pay over £265.00 each, this also includes losing our £50.00 deposits. They didn't care at all about our current situation, showing no sympathy or reducing any costs as a gesture of good will. So in the end I had to pay over £630.00 for the cost of me and my girlfriend for a holiday that we weren't even going on.
Here's the worse part...
Every single email that I wrote to them was forwarded on to the lead passenger allowing her to see every single detail of what I wrote. The company's excuse is because she was the lead passenger she had to know what was going on. Completely fair enough but how explicit this data was given to her allowing her to see every single word.

I complained to the ABTA who to my surprise couldn't help. But let me ask everybody who reads this review a question. Do you think that a company has a right to release sensitive and personal information about a passenger of the flight, to another member?
This is their privacy policy listed on the website:

'Broadway Travel does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. We never disclose information about a passenger to any other person or organisation without your consent unless there is an emergency situation that requires it or we are legally required to do so.'

Absolutely appalling and for those of you who are calling. Three times I rang in total I had the same people answer so I believe it's a small firm. But they have a radio in the background somewhere because all I was listening to was Bruno Mars-Grenade when I called. Not very professional if you ask me.
