Discounted Heating 

I ordered a dimplex panel heater 15/11/13 and did not receive confirmation or delivery date. Eventually received ref number and told that my order would be processed soon which would not take long. This is now 22/11/13 and I still have not had any info other than that the company has been taken over. Am very concerned as I have already had my Barclaycard bill for this. This is my first "shopping on line" which does not bode well.
Hope the new company get their act together soon.

Good price, nice customer service and delivered on time

After researching the part that I needed on the internet I decided to order from Discounted Heating. I had some issues with the website which took me to the wrong page of detailed information for the item that I needed but the price was right and the check-out process simple.
I was convinced that something on the site had told me that the item was in stock but that may have been another site that I was looking at. Anyway, it turned out not to be which only became apparent when I got an update to my order on the day I was expecting to receive it! I contacted the company and they offered an immediate refund - which was good - but I decided to stick with it.
I was given a new estimated delivery date at that time but I was then informed (in good time) that it was still not available from the distributors. The item finally turned up around two weeks later than expected. It was exactly what I needed, was well packed, and shipped overnight.
SO, a mixed review. On the plus side, the item was as described, well packed, at a competitive price and, following an initial hiccup, the communication regarding the state of my order was good; on the negative side, they did not have the item in stock, the initial communication could have been a bit more timely and the website has a wrong link.
Would I deal with them again? Probably - as long as the price is right I can put the negatives down to bad luck which could happen to anyone so I would give them a second chance.

Easy to order good price quick delivery good on price

The prices were very competitive . Delivery was speedy and reliable. All in all a very good and efficient company. I would use them again.

Good product list, first choice for me from now on regarding their stock. Their delivery charges need to be clarified though. I paid a "special" delivery of £25 for a sink (dunno what exactly "special" means in this context), then an hour later was called by a representative who charged me an extra £18 (her communications were unclear....she mentioned £18 at first, then when I pointed out I had ordered 2 items separately and enquired if I would be charged again, she came back to me with a £40 figure; then a charge of £18 appeared on my card statement....I'm still not sure I won't be charged again when my delivery date approaches)

still have not recieved my items that i paid for on the 13th nov no good to me I will not buy from them again, we live out in the country and rely on speedy service

Ordered a replacement Potterton central heating controller which was delivered very quickly and suited perfectly. Reasonable price too.

I was pleased with my per chase ,communication with me was a bit poor . Ie notice off delivery & response to my e mails,But I was overjoyed on my delivery when it turned up ,as I had no idea when this was going to be . But I was able to carry on with fitting my olderly farthers on suit . So thank you very much . You all so made his day too

I have used discount heating several times due to the competative prices, however I have had items not turn up at all ,not turn up on the days they said they would and have had to chase them up several times regarding correspondance. The final straw came when I ordered a boiler, when it did not arrive I chased it up only to find it had not been ordered by the Company. I will not be using this Company again and I would certainly not recommend discount heating to any of my coustomers

Having placed an order for an unusually sized DPSC radiator I had to do quite a bit of chasing. I had to prompt for a response to the initial order; payment was made via PayPal but no receipt of order confirmation was forthcoming from Discounted Heating. Contacting the Customer Service number proved hopeless, ring no reply and/or time-out on ringing tone. Poor service in that regard; an automated response would have been helpful. I eventually contacted a speaking head at Discounted Heating via the Sales line number. I was informed that DH were experiencing computer problems, "Our system is down" was the mantra, but yes, they would send me a confirmation e-mail. They did not. I contacted them again a few days later with the same request. "We're having e-mail problems" was the response this time. 'So, what about surface mail?' I wanted to say. I eventually received the confirmation of order e-mail at around the same time that I received a delivery notification e-mail from the shipper. One can claim, quite reasonably, from this experience that the hackneyed school report cliche would be appropriate; Could do better. I'll think twice before using this supplier again.

Never recieved any information to say my order was on hold whilst the suppliers awaited delivery, I had to chase the company to find this out. When the Order was eventually delivered it just so happened nobody was in and now they do not redeliver and I have to go and pick them up myself. Highly dissapointed with this experience and should have used a local supplier!

I ordered a shower rail which unfortunately was out of stock. I was advised immediately and notified that I could have a full refund if I did not want to wait. I waited a week and then requested a refund as I had found the product elsewhere and was refunded immediately. What more can you ask for other than someone keeping you informed and doing what they said they would straight away. Thank you!!!!

Excellent service! a very efficient company to deal with keeping you informed from placing the order to a very swift delivery (and cheaper than the rest), I would deal with them again.
