We are very pleased with the 3 window replacements undertaken by Distinctive Windows. Work done on time , on budget and all staff involved were very helpful and efficient. Slight manufacturers faults were spotted by installation staff, reported and replaced very quickly- no quibble at all.Would recommend Distinctive

Kevin was brilliant from start to finish. He was also half the price a previous quote..Our windows and door look fantastic. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

Had my windows and doors installed a couple of weeks ago and I'm very happy with the result. Kev has been great at keeping in touch throughout and even made me aware of a small defect in one of the windows that I would never have known about, and sent someone out to fix it the same week. Would reccomend to anyone.

Very pleased with the windows fitted by Dale on behalf of Distinctive windows and doors. They make a huge difference to my home, they not only look good but no more drafts & they really cut down the noise. Everything about the windows went to plan from measuring to fitting. I would really recommend this company to anyone.

Apart from the price what we most liked was their approach, no heavy sales pitch with ridiculous prices slashed to a still expensive price. No Distinctive windows came in measured up and gave us a good fair price. They sent us the invoice for the deposit the next day and arranged for the surveyor to come.
Once the windows were fitted we received the invoice which we were happy to pay.
All in all we had a great service and would be happy to recommend Destinctive windows to anyone.

Recently had two windows replaced & was very impressed with competitiveness of quote, standard of the windows and the excellent workmanship by the fitter Darren. Have now decided to have a further three windows replaced as I really can't fault this company. Highly recommended!

We’ve just had 12 flush sash windows fitted on our 1920’s house, and they’re already making a massive difference to the heat and sound inside. Kevin wasn’t pushy with the sales at all and kept us well informed, and Dean fitted them brilliantly and quickly! Would have no hesitation in using Distinctive again - thanks Kevin!

Kevin quoted me a very fair price for installing most of the windows in my s/d house so I went for it. Dean was the window fitter who did all the fitting alone but this didn't seem to faze him at all, he was a very nice chap and I felt at ease in his company. It took him two days to complete and I couldn't fault his work in any way. I'm very pleased with my windows and would recommend Distinctive Windows to anybody. Thank you. Barbara Hudson

We met Angie and explained our conservatory requirements: Install a Velux roof window to an existing tiled roof, insulate roof space, plaster board ceiling, plaster ceiling.
She assured us this type of job was her core business and work began swiftly after two meetings to discuss detail.
However we received:
A Velux that was leaky and wrongly fitted and a damaged surround fitting kit, this was noticed by ourselves and a new surround was bought and fitted once it was mentioned to Angie. It still leaks.
The Velux aperture is not flared internally as per the fitting instructions.
Workmanship was largely poor and of a standard below our expectations, we were left with cement stains on the drive, front paths and conservatory roof, a broken roof tile and a chip to the tiled conservatory floor.
Plaster boarding was of a very mixed standard ranging from fine to requiring replacement. The plasterer wanted to use filler to rectify the poor boarding. We declined.

Angie came to see us and sadly agreed that the workmanship was not acceptable. Having lost faith and trust in the company we amicably agreed to source our own plasterer to rectify the work and complete the job. This has now been done.
Angie was approachable and fair and her staff were nice chaps however we would not recommend them after our recent experience.

From the moment Kevin walked through the door i knew he was the man for the job. Very professional, knowledgeable and thorough whilst being not at all pushy. His local knowledge of houses was a bonus and he suggested we get a lintel if we didnt already have one. On the day of fitting it was discovered we did already have a lintel so that part of the job was removed no fuss meaning the job was cheaper than quoted. We did notice the door starting to tighten and was a bit tricky to lock after a few days. My wife sent Kevin an email asking if there was anything we could do, he straight away sent out a guy that made a few adjustments and hey presto the door was perfect. Just the type of trader you want, value for money, honest and wants to have happy customers. Thank you

The team installing was great, really helpful at every stage and were ready to quickly deal with any issues, and for a very reasonable price. Would absolutely recommend

what can I say!, from start to finish Angie Donnelly gave all the information we needed to go ahead with the insulation of our new conservatory roof and called in many times, the lads Criag and Adrian worked none stop 1st day to get watertight ,and the next 4 days none stop finally finished on day 5 .To say we are please is an understatement . Would recommend no problem Thank you so much Angie x

When a minor problem arose, he sorted it immediately, with no questions asked, and kept me informed all along the way.
The workmanship and service were excellent.
No hesitation in recommending Distinctive Windows.

We had a great experience. From speaking to Angela, to having the surveyor checking all measurements,to the finish products.
All windows in our terraced house plus front and back doors.All done as promised. The fitters turned up as agreed, on one occasion when they did not, we were called and told that would happen(and things can happen to everyone,let's be real,they are a small company so don't have a thousands of workers at their call ). Everything installed nicely. All the time the workers vere very pleasant, tidying up everything which was theirs and removed all their rubbish when finished etc.
The end product is good quality and as agreed.And their price for the whole is a way cheaper than some of the big guys .
I also wanted to highlight,that at no point, when first speaking with Angela ,were we presented with initial huge price ,only to be dropped after some "magic"discounts, and phone calls to the office etc.We had about 4 other salesman's from other big companies coming first, to give us some prices and ALL of them performed theirs "salesman show". I understand that they had worked like that for many years, but times change, and people value their time and don't want to spend 2 hours hagling over some discount , that should not be applied as the product should be already cheaper.it is off-putting.This is why We went with this company:straightforward price, not wasting our time.we got what we wanted , and what we paid for..The whole installation from our initial conversation to finish product took just over 1 month for the windows, and almost 2 months for one of the doors, but again, we were told about the timeframe straight from the start, and with the specific doors that we wanted we were also told there would be extra waiting which we agreed too beforehand).
Overall very happy.

This company came to my house and insulated my conservatory roof on the 28th of April 2021 it took 2 days the 2 chaps who done the the job where good hard working guys very clean and thorough totally respected my property when they finished Angela from from distinctive windows arrived and collected payment for the work I had cause to phone Angela a couple of days later because a piece of trim was loose she said one of the workers will call in and sort the trim and he would phone first to make sure I was at home I am disabled never go out unless to hospital appointments so I am at the hospital the guy turns up didn't call to make sure I was at home that was in May of this year I spoke with Angela ok I will get it sorted her words not mine today 20th August I am still waiting I have had no paperwork for the advertised 10 year insurance backed guarantee
So I do not think I will be recommending distinctive windows to anyone
