Ordering process really straight forward. Very helpful phone call to check measurements before order confirmed. Reasonably quick manufacture (about 10-14 days). Shutters are great quality, very easy to install and look beautiful. Sadly they lost a star because the delivery firm they use are appalling - considering the cost, notifying you of delivery after 10 on the day of delivery when not everyone works from home anymore is really unworkable. Contacted the team at DIY shutters who were really responsive and tried to help but it’s seems the delivery company didn’t care about committing to convenient dates and changed regularly at the last minute to an inconvenient date. Also didn’t respond to the team at DIY shutters. Finally got my shutters, dumped in full view on my front door whilst I was at work - thankfully no one walked off with them. They really need to consider the delivery company they use considering the cost and value of the packages. In two minds about ordering again for my top floor windows (even though I’d love to) purely because I can’t just wait in on the off chance I might get a delivery!

I received the shutter last week which I ordered in Dec, manufacturing and delivery felt a tad long but maybe expected due Christmas.

Upon receipt, the shutter doesn't match the installation guides. The shutter has pre drilled sunken holes on the front of the frame and cannot be attached to the recess wall. I spoke to several people prior to purchase and they told me the correct frame to get and were very helpful but nonetheless, the frame received doesn't meet the correct fitting.

In addition, they've supplied stickers to cover said pre drilled holes which I assume are for after installation, these are firstly super cheap and lacks any high standard and secondly different colour to the frame.

I've now sent 3 emails asking if there's been a mistake in the manufacture and requested a call back. I have now had silence and no response for 2 days.

It's disheartening seeing all the positive reviews when I've had such a terrible experience.

Very helpful. And very knowledgeable. Constantly in touch, and went through the process of getting the measurements for the shutters l want right. I shall probably order another shutter in the not so distant future.

I found this company very helpful in taking me through the process of ordering shutters for my home. They have very good videos showing you what to do to get the correct fit for your home. I also found them very helpful and patient when I contacted them (more than once) to double check that I had done everything correctly. I also found the cost very reasonable, cannot wait to see the finished product.

Simple process. Good communications

Easy to use website with helpful video guides to help you through the measuring and ordering process. But that wasn’t the best bit! A follow up call from the patient customer support to talk through my assumptions and understanding was excellent, and vital as it turned out! A couple of tweaks later and the order is complete, I’m very happy with the service.

Excellent. I placed an order for blinds and DIY shutters noted that I had previously ordered a similar product but in a slightly different colour. They contacted me to advise of the colour difference before processing the order. As a result, I’ll have matching blinds! Thank you for checking with me before processing the order.
