First shutter experience
Just ordered and sample process, measuring instructions excellent and phone call before order processed a good move to be sure for supplier and customer that everything is accurate as far as it could be
So now hope the actual shutters are good!

My second order!
This was the second order with DIY Shutters. The first set were delivered perfectly within eight working days. The quality was great and they look fantastic. After placing the order, the company phoned to check everything and could not have been more helpful. This time exactly the same care and attention - this time from Ellie. I am looking forward to receiving the new set. From my experience - they're a great company and I shall be using them again very soon for our next bedroom. The bedroom I'm doing is costing a total of £432.80 from DIY Shutters. A local company quoted £1250 for the same work and the actual shutters look identical.

Easy to follow instructions on website with 'print and cut out' guides to aid measuring, step by step guide through choice of style and types of blinds, helpful videos and useful illustrations also available, competitively priced, prompt response to answer questions and they called to double check everything before they took payment and committed make to measurements.

Straight forward to fit and good service
The online service is really straight forward to use, and the confirmation phone call was really helpful as I wanted to make some changes to my order.
They were also really helpful with any questions on delivery, and the shutters which turned up are good quality and were extremely easy to fit. Really happy with the service and the product!

Sour ending.
Customer service excellent, can not fault their help and expertise. Such a shame as we confirmed our order and the price shot up nearly £150.00 after a minor amended of a few millimetres. Called to cancel and the sales lady seemed uninterested and didn’t try to keep the sale. Shame as we had more windows to order so missed out on future business.

This is disappointing to hear. It looks as though there were a couple of changes to the order that pushed the price up. The increase in dimensions but also changing for a larger frame. Over the phone with you, our team were able to determine that your window handles as they are currently would have interfered with the shutters so with your agreement, we applied the larger frame to accomodate this, making sure you had full functionality of the shutters. There is a flat rate surcharge for this deeper frame, set by our manufacturers, that we would not have been able to waiver. Our apologies for this.

I cannot fault the customer service..
I cannot fault the customer service in trying to sort out our bedroom shutter that is faux wood and made in the UK. It looks fantastic and the quality is good. It does however, expand and contract with temperature changes and makes a noise which can’t be rectified it seems. It doesn’t shut out light as well as we thought so will add curtains also in the bedroom. This is the third blind we have bought from DIY shutters and would recommend them despite the couple of issues.

The call with the ordering assistant was also good and put my mind at ease that all the information needed was correct.
